I brought Scross 1.5 Alpha ,12.5 lac on road , Power might be less compared to Kia or Creta , but in the price range and K series engine with excellent metal , never regretted the decision in Kia/creta Market

Please don't make a comparison of that accident as a guideline for your decision to buy SELTOS.
Please remember that the driver of that SELTOS was at very high speed, he hit a RCC culvert at high speed, no vehicle is designed for such deep impact. NCAP ratings are measured at 64 kmph, our SELTOS driver was at more than double of this speed. I suggest you to compare other features of SELTOS and compare with other options in the market.
Don't buy a vehicle that is advertised as a BAD-ASS, Sprinter, Hopper, Rocket, Cat etc. These are strains on your mind to turn your decision towards buying the car.
Humans are intelligent enough to compare features for making their decision.
Now one factor I will tell you to help you make your own decisions. Kia has downgraded the base frame of the Indian version making it without using ADVANCED GRADE STEEL in the basic body.

What is the actual mileage of kia Seltos? Would you recommend kia Seltos in Diesel or Petrol Variant?
I have HTK plus it gives 10-11 in city
And 13-15 on highway for Natural aspirated petrol engine

Abey oo gandoo ye dhyan se padh 17 divided by 5 = 3.4 , matlab ek star ko 3.4 marks hote hai to 2 star ke liye 6.8 score hota hai naki 8.0 , to 8.03 pe 3 star to theek thak safety rating hai.

Kia Seltos scores 5-star Safety Rating at the Australian NCAP but indian version barely managed 3 stars. 0.18 points difference between kia 3 star and a two star rating. Kia uses a lower quality steel in Indian seltos. Even the kia carnival was discontinued world wide and replaced with sedona but kia sold off the older varient in India almost at the same price. Kia sees India as some sort of dumping ground. Sorry for being critical but they are all facts.
If you want safety and handling then go for tata, mahindra, ford and Volkswagen.
