Feb 2019, Queen Victoria, San Francisco to Auckland, Stateroom D7017 Superior Balcony Stateroom. Elderly couple, but young, in the head anyway! Poor cabin storage & pokey cabin with less available room than on P&O Ventura/Azura. Tiny bathroom facility and extremely pokey shower cubicle. Two sittings for dinner in Brittania dining 18.00 & 20.00hrs....frankly either too early or too late. Open dining would be much better in my opinion. Bar pricing? Silly! No issues at all with staff or service all as expected and frankly no different to either P&O or Celebrity. By far the P&O balcony staterooms are roomier and the Celebrity Aqua Blu restaurant better. The Celebrity Aqua class stateroom shower best. TV channel options stupidly poor and no interactive account availability. Did we enjoy the Cunard Queen Victoria 2019 cruise? Not a lot. It was dreary. Wouldn’t pick Cunard again mostly because balcony stateroom facilities and accomodation are poor.
