I used to play this game a lot as a 9 year old kid and I had so much fun playing with it even my friends always talked about it with me, and we would take turns setting the fastest track times on the Dubai map. It's so sad to see how gameloft ruined asphalt 8 with their horrible updates and it's dissapointing to see that the game has become nothing more than a husk of it's former self.

As a completionist i just cant play this game. Having cars be impossible to get without the "key" which is such a stupid design choice means ill never want to bother. Asphalt 8 had the freemium system down perfectly, if some wanted and edge they could pay but if someone wanted to they could indeed play the entiregame without paying a cent. Gameloft ruined this franchise
the visuals and cars in the modern asphalt 8 were certainly better but they fucked up with the career and the prices, it takes me at least 200 dollars to max a dodge dart gt because i have to pay 50k fusion coins for 1 upgrade

Do you guys remember the days when ds survolt was 45000 and ford gt was 70000 now both of these cars are over 300000 but the amount of money earned by races is same our old Gameloft is dead and there is now an imposter in its place which has only released terrible games like nova legacy and asphalt 9 but has trashed the old ones like asphalt 8 nova 1,2,3 and brother in arms 3
