i think im ok at ad-libs in a session, but inspiration doesn't always strike. so i'll keep this in mind and see if having some basic structure to improvised elements helps come up with good stuff on the spot. so thanks :)
Am I crazy or did the video intentionally follow the "what ... and ... but" structure? Either way, great tips. It's easy to get caught up in tons of details, and not that those don't help sometimes, but USUALLY you only need a couple to make things distinctive and can always sort of extend on that theme.
