Got mine today finally can’t wait to bolt them on still waiting on that snow video !!!!
Nice! It changes the whole look of your Ranger. It was 59 degrees today and has been unseasonably warm here in Northeast Ohio. Hopefully in January we get some snow.
Yep been hot here in Louisiana cooling back down back to deer hunting
Yep muzzle loader season next.
It definitely makes the look of it! My crew looked way better once I installed that. It is great for brush hogging making your own path lol. You should check out the seizmik versa fold hard coated windshield. that's what I went with. I would def buy it again. Great vid as always
Yeah I really like the new look! Definitely could make my own paths now lol. The seizkmik versa is one of the ones I'm looking at and looks like a nice windshield. I'm down to 3 windshields I like so well see. Thanks for watching!
I been looking at that Talen too.
They have them for the 900's. They look ok but almost everybody installed one because they are not that expensive. I don't like to have something that looks the same as everybody else. I custom built side and grille guards for my 16 900. I got one of the extreme bumpers for my 900 I have now. I like it but think I am going to modify it to make if better and look different.
Yeah I liked it because it changed the look of the unit. I know what you mean about looking different from every one else but I think my build looks unique. I'm not done yet still have some other things to add. Thanks for watching!
@@UTVDIRT The 1000 hasn't really taken off yet. You don't see very many of them unless you go to the Polaris dealer. I think Polaris has over priced them and they got a little aggressive with the styling. You are doing good with your build. I don't think I have seen a 1000 with the bumper extensions.
Yeah they are pricey that's why I waited awhile to get a good deal on this one.
@UTV DIRT I am having a hard time installing mine,I mounted both sides and the center barce wont go in as the space is 1.19".. however in your video, you mounted the center first then put the 4 bolts with the 2 nutted back place. how did you manage to line up the holes? HELP!
I made sure all bolts were loose and had to stretch the bar to the hole and slipped the bolt in. It's good if you have two people. Hope this helps.
@@UTVDIRT that gives me an idea of using my dremel grinder to widen the center brace holes going a bit towards the ends!👍
@@UTVDIRT I finally did it, all it took was a better and stronger ratchet strap and all went into place!
@@Hi-Tech-Ray Nice! Glad you got it!
How do you open the hood now? Do you have to take the whole thing off?
Nothing changed. You open the hood the same way.
How much was this add on I want it.
I got it on Amazon for 259.00. I put a link in the description of the video. I like it a lot. Changed the look of the unit and looks more rugged.
I ended up with the Honda EPS 1000 just got the wench. waiting for bracket. 13500 out the door. 2018.
Nice! That's a good price and I like the Honda's too. I to have been looking at the Talon's because I'm looking to add a sport side-by-side to the UTV DIRT garage. Will see what happens! Thanks for watching!
@@UTVDIRT its the pioneer what i got;.
red.
I mite get it next year if i can get a 2018 cheep.
Yeah that's the best time to buy when the new ones come out buy the leftovers.
I have a 2019 Polaris XP1000 with a front camera. It doesn't look like this brush guard would work for me. Any comments?
I don't think it will work because of where the top bar connects to each side. Not sure if you can move the camera to the lower part of the grille.
@@UTVDIRT Thanx for your quick response. Maybe I'll contact my dealer for suggestions.
I admire everything you've done with your build. Great videos.
Thanks! More vids on the way!
@@UTVDIRT I've been in contact with Polaris re: the brushguard. Is the horizontal brace a half-moon or rounded?
It is half mooned not round.
Mike, have you ever thought about getting the tonneau cover for Zeus?
Yes I have looked into a couple. I have seen a couple different kind. Not sure which one I would like soft cover or hard cover. Might be something I do down the road.
UTV DIRT what kind of tonneau did you look at? Not to many choices out there.
I looked at J-Top UTV outfitters, EMP, and Extang solid fold 2.0. They are all nice but I haven't made any decisions yet.
What about the front camera I noticed you don't have one but I do
Yeah I don't have one and believe the brush guard would cover the front camera view.
you would need to purchase part # 2207941 which would be installed in place of the center brace that came with the kit!!
@@UTVDIRT people with front cameras would need part # 2207941 to replace the center brace in the originalinstall!
Is there any drilling required?
No drilling required. It just bolts on to your existing front bumper. Very easy install 15 minutes tops.
Cool. I'm planning on buying a ranger towards the end of the year and I didn't know the bumper already had pre drilled holes. When you put the side guards on under the doors in a previous video how did you know where to drill the 3 holes??
Nice! If you look on the side of the panel you will see little circles etched out. Just center the drill bit in the middle and your good to go.
Thank you.
yeah $200 not bad may go that route too.
Yep not a bad price plus it looks good I think. Thanks for watching!
Champ. 3500LB. 98.98 104.00 with tax. the winch

Go ahead! I have a lot of fun making these videos for you guys.
@@UTVDIRT yep i like them keep up the good work.
