In this video, I will be roll hunting a box of pennies, that was stuffed full of wheat penny ender rolls! I'll be looking to see how many wheat cents we can find AND I am sure we'll find a ton of Canadian Cents!
Of course, I will also be hunting for any Indian Head Pennies, errors and varieties!
Let's see how many wheats I find and what other goodies I get!

I have paused the video at 4:40 to leave this first part of my comment some of you may or may not know but the world trade centers had a treasury in the basement which leads me to believe the fire damaged coins may be from there and in my mind are very special as a reminder of that day. Don't buy them, it will never be the same like hunting for them. I still haven't found the 1877 other than in a coin shop.

I got a 57D in that same condition in change about a week ago, put that into a coin flip I know value-wise it's not worth it but will send it with my 1st batch of coins to get graded I am more or less curious what grade it will get than anything.

i just started collecting coins and metal detecting not too long ago. The only thing i look for with pennies are wheats could someone give me a list of errors and varieties or a link to a list online? i looked but could find one with all the different stuff rob talks about

wtf are these pennies, did someone stuff wheaties in their pocket then hop into a burning washing machine and then return them to the bank???
I bought a bank deposit bag (2 boxes worth) it was low on wheats with only 12 of them but I did get 8lbs of copper and a good 91 Canadian pennies, which it typical for Michigan.

Awesome hunt! I actually found my first Indian head ever recently. Only had to search through about 105,000 pennies to find it lol
My oldest wheat is a 1919, and I got it as change. I was so surprised 😂😂

You always post at the best time lol Sunday I went through a box of pennies with my dad and papa. Pop pulled his first IHP and it's the oldest coin we've found roll hunting so far - 1899! Was really happy for him. Now on to the video!
I got done searching a box today and I got 14 wheats, 7 s mint marks, 1 proof, some variety’s, and a full cup of copper, best find was a 1918 wheaty!
Are you going to have that 1957 D graded? I've never seen a RED wheat cent in a penny roll like that. It's a beauty!
I’m at my grandparents house right now and my grandma let me look through her coin jar. I got a 1944 wheatie, 1964 silver dime, a bunch of foreigns, and 2 2019 W quarters.

I don't comment much but I am looking at making a complete 1896 P set from roll or metal detecting finds from all denominations. I found the Morgan and Barber Half from rolls cash tills. I still need the quarter dime nickel and you found the cent!

I have 2 rolls alot smaller then your rolled in 1934 still in the roll they are blue and white and say something with a C on them and they year 1934 the year my grandpa was born darnn I could be sitting on a million but there only 50 rolls why?
Maybe it’s a shotgun roll - 25 cents per roll. More common in the 20’s-30’s

But an AMAZING looking 1958 D wheat cent i do have a couple myself but can't remember year more worried about my 1943 S STEEL PENNY that I'm about to scope Thursday and also found a DIME that is partially missing the last number in the year (you can only make out top half of last number and otherwise dime is in great shape and by the way it is 200?) Ill shoot you some pictures via email

(edit: Well, I like my pancakes sweet, but not too sweet, so it is fitting that the wheats outpaced the maples 33:23. As always, a fun time, thanks for sharing, but I feel the copper cup is getting a little shorted. I appreciate seeing it but I'd like to know just what proportion of the box a full cup would represent. Here in NE Cincinnatistan, circulating cents seem to be running about 70+ % zinc.

I got a box with three IHP and bunch of weaties and a full 5lbs of copper, i also got a box that was 95% 1980-81 and the newest coins in there were from 1983,pretty much a full box of copper

Tied My Best Canada and Indian Head box!! And very close to my Best wheat cent box, of coarse my best Canada, Indian Head & Wheat boxes were in 3 separate boxes!! Lol

I got 10 or twelve rolls from my bank and found 11 Indian head pennies over a pound of uncirculated 50s and 3/4 pound of 10-20-0-40s mostly being 10s and 20s with a bunch of better dates and a semi key dat

I’ve hunted hundreds of penny boxes and never found a Indian head penny
Surprisingly they are usually not in boxes. They started rolling pennies in 1900. Almost every IHP I have found has never been in a bank box. Found a lot metal detecting and buying loose change in cans, from flea markets and garage sales.

Those 1944s seem like the most common of the Wheat Cents.
Check the 1917 wheat penny for the DDO.

Just got through the second of my 3 Oregon boxes. A lot of good finds. D & S are hard to find in Florida. A lot of spot fills in my albums.

I found 3 Indian head pennies in a box I picked up at the chase bank on 380 in Denton. 2 1906’s and 1 1904. One of the 1906’s is kinda worn but the other 2 still have an amazing amount of detail
