I didn't even think about the pistol/rifle perks, I just did it as a joke to how guns get classified by the Feds. So go rifle perk if you use the stocks. I have actually been animating every mod of mine since the C6544(which I want to fully reanimate). Also I say this all the time but I did modding back in 2019, had stopped but came back from the show hype and my disgust with F4 guns lol. I looooath how F4 handles gun dmg, so yes much like you dont back to weaker receivers in vanilla slow fire rate is just stepping stone to high fire rate. I actually added the flashlight last minute because of your fav mod of 24 video lol. Anyway, long spiel over, thanks again and can't wait to see what you make man!
Really Nice Mod Man. Much better than the current 10 MM SMG, which is Broken on XB. Ever think about trying to make a Mag Fed Lever Action Rifle? If that aint too hard, it's definitely Fallouty enough of a Gun idea.
Oh, and whatever you do, if any Future Weapon Mod you make has Tactical Reload Support, Bullet Counted Reload Support, or both. TR is broken on XB and has No Support. BCR only works for the Vanilla Lever Action Rifle and the 1's listed in the Mods Description, and also has No Support. Not asking you to do anything, just giving a Heads up for when any of your Mods that may have that get Ports to XB.
2 teeny bit ideas for your 10 MM SMG Mod, how's about a Follow Up that gives it Barrel Lengths (Short, Medium, and Long, or just Short and Medium), and a Semi Auto Conversion (as there would've been a Civilian Offering by the Manufacturer).

Just FYI, that wood furniture SMG is based on a custom HK45 furniture made in Korea for the actual weapon, which I am fascinated by because firearm ownership is extremely strictly restricted in the nation. IIRC the guy who made the wood furniture sells them internationally.
Quite awesome to see, plus some new 10mm SMGs are a good thing. We need more cool stuff. Whitney Wolverine pistol is perfect for early game .22 caliber weapons. Edit. A MP10 version of the 10mm SMG done by you would be great to see. In general, your mods are a must download for me. Attachments pack and the Combat rifle and more importantly the Machine gun remesh are a must download for me.
Looks nice ... would be nice if some of the Animators jumped in and created some nice animations because the animations, although serviceable they seem a bit stiff
I thought this looked real cool when i saw it.i do hope that someone like mrlamegaming does an animation for this but these are certainly usable, but if we got one of his anims this could easily be the definitive 10mm smg mod. The animations are nice and you seem to really like this mod! I'd like to suggest if you want to make this even better you should try to collab with arobot to make a version that can use some of your assets for attachments and your animations as well! Think like the FNV guns where you can choose which animation creator in the files.
Keep on working in your design. More options only makes things better and more interesting. I could get the prototype AA-12 and Desert Eagle mods and pretend that those are the postwar made versions and use the mods based on the production models as the prewar versions. The same with 10mm smg.
It being an MP5-esque design is fairly appropriate, as there IS a 10mm variant of the real-world MP5. The UMP 45 CAN technically be chambered in 10mm as well, but it's not an official conversion.
Hey dak, maybe that mp5 style gun could be an energy weapon of some kind? We definitely need more weapons using the energy ammo types both from vanilla and munitions. Plasma, laser with all its ammo varieties, electric beams, pulse weapons, flamer fuel, cryo, acid, gamma all these damage types are very underutilized.
That right there's a delicious model if ever there was one; I can see this needing better animations, but I'm also glad this person went out of their own way to give this thing a custom reload instead of reusing preexisting animations in the game. Yeah, they could do with a bit more love or maybe be reanimated by someone else - if that's what the modder chooses to do - but I applaud this modder's ability to go above & beyond in the first place, especially for someone apparently new to the Nexus modding scene.

Wood furniture to complement the stamped sheet steel frame and barrel, etc. I would definitely love to see your own interpretation on this style of 10mm SMG, so don't scrap your idea if you don't absolutely have to. needs better snappier animations but aside from that its a superb model. textures are ok i just wish we had more variety both in terms of polymer based parts and different wood textures.
@Pigness7 alright then you could call it the police smg, I could see it as the 9mm police issue smg which was used in the army before getting replaced by the classic 10mm smg. After getting replaced the leftover smg's were sold to various police departments who used it for SWAT and other special purposes. I could see it in the universe of fallout as the R-95 submachinegun.
@@ALAvila191 The usual understanding is that A2:Commando is the only weapon perk for all automatic weapons. P2:Rifleman is only semi-automatic rifles. A1:Gunslinger is only semi-automatic pistols. However, the numbers clearly changed when they changed the stock even though it's clearly an automatic weapon.
Dont scrap tour ideas because someone has something similar, having only 1 of each type of weapon creates the same issue fallout 4 already has of 0 weapon variety
Please, for the good of all Fallout fans, don't scrap any of your mod ideas. Even if this mod does most of what you want to do, so what? I've got at least five pump action shotguns in my current load order, including yours. Variety is the spice of life.
There are few attachment options, names and descriptions don't follow naming conventions, materials for crafting requirements don't change, it's too heavy, texture art doesn't match vanilla weapons, the model is blocky compared to vanilla weapons, the animations are stiff... I feel bad saying this but tiptoeing around these problems isn't the way to go either. I've wanted a good MP5 mod since I started playing and to hear Dak say he's scrapping his in favor of this is disappointing

That thing can never be used as a folding stock, even on the original version in Fallout 3 that part is welded onto the gun itself.
It's like a hybrid between the 10mm SMG and Neeher's Select Rapid MG. I like it.

it does level off commando , it just also I think pistol for the single handed idk. I didn't really notice due to having every perk. it just works.

Anyone could make better animations for this with a little bit of Blender knowledge and a couple of hours or so.
