honestly I kinda get why some people wouldn't like every weapon to have LL integration? sometimes you just want those cool unique weapons to be truly unique and something only the player or possibly a companion have access to and that's totally valid imo
Agreed. Dak often uses that as a negative point against mods. It bugs me when he laments that certain outfit mods aren't distributed to NPCs and the like... I don't think many people would like to see NPCs in the game somehow having/wearing something like the NCR Renegade armor. In the case of the second gun, for example; it's apparently based on a Soviet prototype that never saw full-scale production, so it wouldn't really make much sense to just have this thing all around 2287 Massachusetts.

I see your point but don't share it, no LL integration it's a dealbreaker to me. That's why mods that add Unique variants are the best, you get the weapons/armor to appear in the world AND you get your own special trophy.
For me it depends on what the weapon IS. If it's something that looks like it would have seen mass production, then sure. If it's something that's built to be special, making it commonplace would feel a bit weird. What fits either category is subjective.
There is one major detail people should know about that gunmod by Bugle. In its current state, the range is only 11. So, this will be very close range gun in its current form. You can even see it in the video.
I own that exact model of CZ Scorpion and used it when I was doing executive protection work. It's VERY small, even more compact than an MP-5 (though about the same size as the MP-5K) and I was able to conceal it under my jacket just fine (though, admittedly, I am a pretty big guy). I was also surprised when I first got it by how much of a nail driver it is even at 100 yards. Accurate as hell. Nice to see it getting some love
That 5.56 pistol is fantastic in execution for a first mod. The concept is great, I hope they iterate on it because I can easily picture it becoming a must-have weapon for everyone's load order.
The AO-46 is a real gun, a Soviet prototype that inspired the Soviet Army to later adopt the AKS-74U. It’s a very different sort of weapon that feels like it’d fit into Fallout very well
@ Considering that the USSR was neutral and had good relations/detente with the US by the time of the Great War I justify it by assuming Soviet weapons were imported in some scale
@@user-zp8kj2cl9ga replacement would be too much. I think a mod (or multiple) that improves on elements of the story and making it an overall okay story with some great moments would be enough. On the whole, Fo4 just needs more quest mods.

Hey Dak I have a mod that I think you might like to review. It's a mod I found on Xbox and it's called "FN Five-SeveN(XBOX)" by Sudniro. It adds a Five-Seven pistol, both to the chem bench and somewhere in Sanctuary there is one (I won't say where). It can use 10mm, either .38 or .308, or a special 5.7 ammo that you can craft cuz of the mod. It does in the 30s for damage with a standard receiver, but with gun nut 1 you can craft a hardened receiver and bring it up to 51 damage, and this is with 10mm ammo, and it has a 20 round standard mag, also with 10mm ammo, and it's such a good weapon and I think it would be viable throughout the entire game with upgrades and stuff.
Honestly its very simple The simple downgrader and the backported BA2 plugin is all you need, you'll still get the new CC content and you can use the old F4SE and its plugins. The best of both worlds
@ I know I’ve done it before but i like to use wabbajack modlists then add my own touches to them and a lot of them require the next-gen version sadly. Ty though.
@@jackbrooking4754 The only next gen stuff you can't use is the f4se plugins, and all of them have old-gen compatible versions, I'm sure you can replace them easily. Anything non f4se that says needs the next gen version will be compatible with a downgraded game.
@TiepilotKV i had to delete all creation content from the directory for some reason having them after downgrading caused my game to crash when starting.
Many people don't like adding mod weapons to the levellist because most of them are incompatible with NPC covering animation. NPCs hold these weapons incorrectly while taking cover.
Given the malorian weapon is unique id just use ECO to give it 12.7 ammo. All of my balancing now days revolves around my balistic overhaul mod so for me a weapons base damageing is irrelevant, just what bullet it shoots. Its YK9's ballistic overhaul if anyone is curious.

As a console player using this channel as a mod finding resource it can be a real pain to find mods I can play. I don’t know any other way to find mods. Makes it worse that the description often does not show what platforms each mod has.
