Can you give me instructions on how to count seersucker stitches in a gauge swatch? Pattern I am starting says gauge must be measured in seersucker but I am finding it extremely difficult to count stitches in this intricate (and beautiful) stitch.

Kristen, If you wanted to knit borders on this pattern would you still add that one stitch to the multiples of 4? I was not sure if that one stitch was a "border" for the swatch.

Heyy I don’t quite understand how to close it out . The pattern says the last two rows should mimic Row 1&2. So do I finish my 1-8 THEN do an additional two rows . Or do I do rows 1-6 and have 7&8 be those last two 🧐🧐🧐🧐 thank youuu
