I'm a Green from the mountains. Dont know if I'm related, this is how I remember my people being.
RIP Homer Green and wife, the Lord is with you.
R.I.P. Mr Green the world needs more like him.
What a sweet man I love the angel he made for his wife 👼🏻
I've been under lockdown in the Philippines since early February...so good to see Tennessee. I'm from Parsons. 🙏💛🙏
It would have been a pleasure and an enlightening experience spending time with this man.
Huuuuhh? Haha that's what Homer says alot after someone says something
J M is this artistic man still alive?
, sorry, I just reread that he had passed away. Very unique man, though. We need more like him in this world.
Whoever the 11gave a thumbs down must be very negative miserable people.
What a inspiring ol gentleman to be getting out and keeping himself busy at his age👍
Lol what a Great Man.
Humble and artistic. Just wants to enjoy life and pass time until he gets home to his wife. I love stories and people like this.
You sure nailed what I thought of him also. We need to treasure Folks like him. They are far , few between. And very special individuals.
Hell yes I miss her. Enough said

The opening scene is heartbreaking seeing such a beautiful valley overwhelmed by the road. Imagine what it looked like before the road with maybe just a wagon trail. I love the old slow uncrowded dirt roads.
Very good point. Sadly , myself didn’t even have that thought. Until I read your comment. 👍🏻🇺🇸
That is the old road...Nickajack Trace it is likely thousands of years old and there is a cave that runs beneath the site that drains out both sides into two different river systems. It really is a magical place . He said he lived on top of the world. 💜
This is my Grandmother's brother, RIP. Unfortunately I never met Homer. - Michael Green.
He is kin to my wife she is a Robinson. I had a friend that was a green I worked with. We made a long visit one day years ago. Homer was a pistol he had a lot of stories for course I can’t tell. But the one about the gun he showed me he found in a cave was one of the best. He said he toke it because the over guy did not need it anymore. A great ole guy.
This is my great uncle
Homer left us about twenty years ago. I knew him and visit he and his wife's graves occasionally. He was an inspiration.
From reading the comments I guess he's gone to be with Jesus and his wife!! Young folks...listen to these elders when you can!! I wish I'd taken the time when my Grandparents and parents were still here...they ALL lived through the depression, imagine the knowledge I could have gleaned and put to use today!!! R.I.P. Mr. Homer I hope to hug you in heaven!!
-Homer's very "Tennessee"
East Tennesee, trust me
Lived 23 years without his wife.
What is it? "Painted wood is what I call it!" Homer says..
GREEN, Homer H.Age 81 of Old Hickory, went to be with the Lord, January 7, 2008.
