Then as with much of his music i listened more, with my mind open and at peace with some flower....then all the groovy vibe that is waiting there to be heard opened to me. Its an amazing album. If you dont like it ok, no prob. Its perfect for me and where im at in my life now. Not in a snobby way but either you get Tame Impala or you dont. If you do, lucky you.
I like that at the beggining he left that hiss sound on the right from the compression of the guitar track. And his drum playing it's every time more innovating
Tame Impala 4: ATTACK OF THE KILLER CONGAS! Lol I love them, he clearly made such an effort to give the whole album a warmer, more organic feel than Currents had, and I thank him for that.

But as I’ve revisited the track dozens of times, I’ve learned that Kevin knew what was best for the listener, himself & the song. The way his vocals come in for the bridge are absolutely phenomenal. Hands down my favorite off the album for that bridge.
For those who don't know - the person on the phone call at the end of the song is his wife.
How do you know that? Been trying to figure out what she's saying
Crobenick he talks about it in this interview ua-cam.com/video/wkT6slu6cOc/v-deo.html
@@Crobenick he's stated it in interviews
this one is soo underrated... defenitely one the album's bests!
3:20
Sympathy for the fauna
Fragile life in the sauna
In the sea gettin' warmer
Endlessly 'round the corner
My favourite ever Tame Impala lyricsand i just can't believbve this song exists, it's too much
Maybe im onbntoo much acid but this is the last song of planet earth
3:26 that sequence before the lyrics kinda reminds me of the sequence from music to walk home by, these two songs are literally so good
Is it just me, or does this song have a magical dust feel to it?
Omg -- I don't know how Kevin does it. All I can say is that he's a huge inspiration with the quality of songwriting, music and vocals he churns out. Plus the overall production comes off so neat. Please keep making more, great music Tame Impala. You are the only band on this planet for me!
Lyrics
[Verse 1]
There's no use trying to relate to that older soul
And no use trying to debate that they've got it wrong
There's no use pining for love when you're on your own
And no use crying outside if nobody's home
There's no use flying to the moon if they won't believe
So why do I go wrong on repeat?
[Refrain]
I was blinded by a memory
Like it's someone else, like it wasn't me
And there's every chance I'll be learning fast
And the day will come and then it will pass
[Chorus]
What do you want when I say I won't?
And though I try, I do the same, as though I must
And in the air of today is tomorrow's dust
[Verse 2]
There's no use trying to relate to that older soul
And no use biding your time if the bell is tolled
[Refrain]
I was blinded by a memory
Like it's someone else, like it wasn't me
And there's every chance I'll be learning fast
And the day will come and then it will pass
[Bridge]
Sympathy for the fauna
Fragile life in the sauna
In the sea getting warmer
Endlessly 'round the corner
[Chorus]
And though I try, I do the same, as though I must
And in the air of today is tomorrow's dust
[Instrumental Outro]
Thanks
1:38 - 2:27 That wonderful progression, the pace, the build up and the way it drops back to zero. Heaven.
3:34 Sympathy for the fauna
Fragile life in the sauna
In the sea getting warmer
Endlessly 'round the corner
♫♪
No this is real music I been waiting for something like this my whole life
One of his most underrated songs for sure
I love that the two best songs (IMO) on the album are back to back. Breathe deeper is a 6 minute masterpiece and tomorrow's dust is a whole 'nother experience.
I really hope Kevin and Thom Yorke could meet up and save the world together with a hit song
THIS SONG IS HEAVEN ON EARTH
This song sounds like sitting on a beach in Miami watching the sunset
Right?! Makes me feel like I'm soaking up the sun somewhere in the virgin islands.
It’s like making love to the person of your dreams, an absolutely magical sublime and beautiful feeling
Reminds me of driving from the cold Midwest winter down to the warm coast in the south.
If could only listen to one Tame Impala song, it would be this one. The beat, the lyrics... perfection.
First listen i just didnt get it.
Couldn’t have said it any better :)) 🤘✌️
THANK GOD I AM AMONGST THE LUCKY🤘🤘
Groovy vibe is exactly what hit me last night. On my 3rd listen. And now it hooked me. Vibes.
Same man. Every listen gets better. Love the new albums sound.
Well spoken!
I like that at the beggining he left that hiss sound on the right from the compression of the guitar track. And his drum playing it's every time more innovating
I can’t believe it’s been 4 years 🙃
Such a banger!!!!!
Touching lyrics blended with excellent instrumentals. Perfect and memorable.
Tame Impala 4: ATTACK OF THE KILLER CONGAS! Lol I love them, he clearly made such an effort to give the whole album a warmer, more organic feel than Currents had, and I thank him for that.
The way this song progresses and transitions so smoothly is amazing
2:08 the serotonin levels inside this bus are astronomical
This album just gets better everytime i hear it.. Fucking stellar man, just stellar.....
This guy is so talented holy shit

Peace and Love to all.. We are all beautiful souls!
Omg you're very fast
Thank you! 🎶
You copied this from genius and I'm 99% sure it's wrong
Didn't realize on my first listen , these lyrics are so good
bl36 it is
Best track on the album
This song reminds me of my sad days when I spent the day crying or the live that was not meant to be.....But now that I found the love of my life....it has thought me that life is a long journey with ups and downs
3:26
That one part of this song... I want to cry, I want to fly, I want to sing, I want to see. Many emotions that I can't describe, but the song can.
All songs are spectacular but once again this song speaks for its self. Well done my good sir. You are the GOAT.
I can’t accurately describe what this song does to my soul ❤
This song is so chill. Like tiny waves slowly crashing into you. A 'slow rush' if you will?
Kevin's voice on this is sublime.
monkey nuts masterful control.
Man the first ten seconds 🤯🤯 its the smallest details of his music that’s gets me!!
The influence of Air (the French band) is strong here
Beautiful. Can't get it out of my head.
my no#1 tame impala song 🤩
This album is my first time listening to Tame Impala, and this song is the first one that makes me hesitant to continue listening.
Just because I want to loop it.
The guitar on this omg I can't get enough .. genius!!
This song is perfection. The drums, the prog vibes, and the guitar + synths 😍
2:05 that's marvelous.
Everyone talking bout 3:25 being heaven but what about the sound at 4:23? Like the moment you know you're lucid dreaming!
Pandora just gifted me this off the Thundercat station. I was driving home at night, during full moon rise, through the shadows of the Animus River valley cliffs. Pretty sure my car was floating off the road. Amazing work Sir.
THIS. THIS IS IT. You did it again Kev !
Favorite off the album been waiting to hear this since the Teaser video
no one is better than kevin at encapsulating catharsis into music form. man.
this song feels like walking through nature on a peaceful sunny day
This song is amazing! Definitely has Love Unlimited Orchestra vibes. Kevin is truly amazing at pulling sounds from the past and making them sound fresh and new in the here and now!
Okay this might be the best song in the album
Breathe Deeper playing at the end just cured my depression
The intro reminds me of "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi" by Radiohead. No wonder this is my fave track on the album!! Great stuff.
thought the same thing
that synth from 1:39 - 1:49 is pure bliss
Album is phenomenal but this song sticks out over all.
damn.. let me die.
i used to interpret this to something else but now every line every word fits my current life situation.
my favorite song, is slapping me hard, ironical what the title is. it was never meant to be my favorite back then but now.
This song feels like such a journey. It really puts the overall slowrush feeling and sound into one song
At this point, probably one of my favorite songs ever. Haven't gotten sick of it at all.
