Their bassist Mick Quinn now plays in another massively underrated band, one that you may have heard of: SWERVEDRIVER!! Have you heard them before, Chuchu?
This was the hardest ranking yet, I had heard a few singles prior to this but never had the compulsion to delve, in fact 'Pumping On Your Stereo' actually turned me off them... My surprise was that I liked all the albums but not all the tracks on each album... Do I have more love for them, the answer is a big fat "Yes"... Will they feature on future playlists, again the answer is a definitive "Yes", in fact more songs will find their way than any of the big four, they have certainly pushed their way closer to my favourite bands of the period 'James' & 'Cast'... 01… In It For The Money ... Late In The Day, Sun Hits The Sky, Hollow Little Reign ... 4.5/5 02… I Should Coco ... She’s So Loose, We’re Not Supposed To, Time, Time To Go, Sofa ... 4.5/5 03… Life On Other Planets ... Za, Seen The Light, Evening of the Day, La Song, Prophet 15 ... 4.5/5 04… Road To Rouen … St. Petersburg, Low C ... 4.25/5 05… Supergrass ... Moving, Pumping On Your Stereo, What Went Wrong (In Your Head), Born Again ... 4.0/5 06… Diamond Hoo Ha … Ghost Of A Friend, Outside, Butterfly ... 3.0/5 Top 10... 01... Time... 02... Seen The Light... 03... Grace... 04... Moving... 05... Going Out... 06... Late In The Day... 07... St. Petersburg... 08... Mary... 09... Caught By The Fuzz... 10... Za... When I have to leave out songs like 'Alright', Sun Hits The Sky', 'Prophet 15' & 'Richard III' you know the band are good...
@@ste.6026 Major word of advice for the next episode when it comes to Geneva. Don't listen to the remasters. They completely ruin the original records in my opinion. Listen to the original versions if you can. You'll understand why when you hear them.

In name only, I'm afraid.
@@tokyochuchu I’d recommend their first two albums and then maybe their third and fifth to start out with!
@@curly_wyn Hmmm... I think somewhere in there is a sick burn towards their 4th album. Lol 🤣
