Anyone from my neck of the woods will recognize the late Dick Wood (1930-2021), who left Rhode Island for WTEN in Albany, NY later in ‘73 and remained there until his retirement in 1990.

At that time, WJAR Channel 10's local newscast at 6:00 back in 1973 was 1 hour leading into the NBC Nightly News w/John Chancellor at 7pm.
