Hey David! Had a great time this year talking and skating! TimmyP and I are planning to do a group skate in Greenville in late April/May so keep an eye out for that on FB.
Thanks man appreciate it! Congrats on your performance as well! Hate that we didn’t meet this year but look forward to seeing you at next year’s Ultraskate.
Hey cool vid thanks for posting 🤙. I gotta ask why did you use a softer bushing in the rear bracket? My understanding is that its best to have softer bushings up front and harder in the back, especially if your gonna be pumping.
Appreciate it! Really on the bushings it’s more practical than anything and was based on options available and feel. 85a was the lowest duro I could find for the venom plug barrel bushings and the bear standard bushings were a harder duro than the venoms. Pat’s Risers sells separate inserts which I plan to try as that opens up the bushing options significantly for these trucks but overall I think there’s a benefit to the one piece construction of the plug bushings. For the rear, the ecolite came with 90 krank tall fatcones and those felt too stiff so I went softer. I will tinker some more and will likely order some of the 87a white krank tall fatcones to see how they feel.
As im eating a doughnut and drinking a red bull, im saying to myself i should try that
Haha you definitely should! Just gotta start with short distances and build your endurance up over time
It was awesome skating with you in Miami and hope to do it again. Btw I was the guy in the tent next to you.
