Yeah, actually. There’s a song called “Prisencolinensinainciusol” that’s entirely fake English, made by an Italian musician to mock Italians for loving anything that sounded vaguely American.
I heard that when they first started making the sims, they were debating whether to have them speak English or a made up language. Thus simlish was born using the phonetics from English, that's why some non native English speakers might think that the sims speak English. To think that if they went with English then all the simlish versions of songs wouldn't exist nor would the made up simlish songs in later games. I'm glad they went with simlish because so many of the songs are unironically good and sometimes even better than many of the originals.
I actually have a playlist of the English versions on Spotify. My favourtie has to be Jessica Mauboy Saturday Night. I've trained my ears when listening to simlish to listen out for the orignal lyrics.
Is this how it sounded in the menu of the game? Because it sounds like the bass was cranked up a little too much and I feel like some of the vocals were dubbed over.
Playing Urbz back in 2005 on my nintento cube with no memory disk :D so i had to restart the game every time or leave it running so the process doesnt get lost :))

It's funny because Chowder didn't premiere until 2007, this was probably a side job for Schnitzel before he became the Chef we all know and Rada
Maybe the Chowder creators were inspired by this song.
I can imagine someone just drawing the character concept art listening to this song on loop.
THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSETTLING?
Lmao this is probably what the real version of this song would sound like if you had very bad hearing 🤣🤣🤣
What English songs sound like to everyone who doesn’t speak English
This was shared to me from my sister saying Schnitzel from Chowder needs to be in this
