You answered your own question sadly. Budgets are too big so too much rides on each game to take risks. Teams consist of far too many people now creating unnecessary junctions in content pipelines and increasing the budget at the same time. New tech requires new skills, techniques and practices whilst costing more money to work with. When you combine this with whatever is going on behind the scenes in Microsoft itself and it’s a miracle they got Infinite together. I wish they’d put Halo to bed and focus on a new franchise because I don’t think they’ll ever capture the magic of Bungie’s trilogy again.
To much uncessary cooks in the kitchen, to get anything done you have to go through Like ten layers of beuchracy. Also a completely different culture, if you say anything, negative to your manager about the game you are looked down upon, and your chances of moving up gets negatively impacted. Of course bad management and horrible choices helped too..
Well most company defenders out there would make up the excuse "IT's HarDER anD MOre exPenSIVe To MaKe GaMeS TOday!' but the reality of the situation says otherwise. Yes, more expensive technology has been invented, but not only has the old stuff gotten cheaper, but more efficient and refined to close that gap with the new tools. We also got like more than 2 decades worth of lessons and mistakes you can learn from video games before you, but we all know the only thing AAA companies wanna learn is how to manipulate the human psych more so they can make their microtransactions more addicting.
@@iGuardian92 It really is that simple, except Microsoft is full of greedy, money-hungry gremlins who would sell their own doodoo feces if it meant getting another cent out of consumers.
I mean as far as art direction, tone and overall gameplay infinite was great. The only issue was no content/rushed campaign. The foundation was fantastic. So to say they learned nothing is very silly if we are being honest with ourselves.
I feel some individuals might have learned (or even known). But upper management and Microsoft have definitely not... they think they know better, and they have enough money and employees to burn before they realize they are the problem.
I know right. I mean bungie made 4 excellent fully complete games every like 3 years with literally only dozens of employees and with way less tech and money.
So we’re now fucking excusing missing a full campaign or the multiplayer entirely, just because one half might be decent? Copium on an inordinate scale. This is truly the end times for Halo unless Microsoft wakes up and gets 343 Industries whipped into shape. Halo has only one more game left to prove itself as worthy of its previous status or it’s over. Here's a hint 343 Industries: we want a content complete and feature rich halo game on day one. Bring back the M rating and the flood straight away. no micro transactions we don’t care about. Playable elites and split screen top priority. No free to play consistently new developer made content. Don’t just rely on Forge for the gamers to do your work for you. Cater to the core OG bungie halo fans and we will sell your game for you and shove halo forcibly down their throats, cater trying to please everyone you will please no one
We can't unless AI can take over Steve downes voice.. he's getting old.. we don't have time he would have to authorize his voice to be immortal via AI . Think about it no one can replace Steve downes as chief, period.
They already killed Halo.. multiple times. 343 hasn't ever made a truly good Halo. There is really nothing to salvage. They only managed to make the Halo MCC good - after a terrible start.
I fucking wish. I'm getting tired of them dragging the corpse out again just to tarnish it even more. 343 killed it, now just let it fucking die already.
Agreed. They dont really have anywhere else to go as far as delivering any kind of "new" experience. They just need to get back to basics with the fundementals of great gameplay. Story, character, and fun mechanics. And theyve already shown time and again they cant get all three of those right. I thought infinite was a lot of fun. I loved what they were going for in that game. They added a lot of new things while still somehow feeling grounded to the original games. Which was in and of itself quite an accomplishment. The leveling system, the open world, the new mechanics. All those things were good and just the refresh the franchise needed. But also everything could have been better. It felt like they needed another year or two of development on it in just about every way. And the utter lack of any kind of engaging story had me eventually uninstalling the game only not even half way complete. I think doing what they originally set out to do with Infinite while also adding a great story is really the only way 343 can save Halo. But that would be an extremely ambitioua indertaing. Who knows though. Maybe thats whats taking so long to hear any news? 🤷♂️🤔
You've gone to this restaurant for 12 years and you've been continually poisoned. Finally, the old chefs are replaced with new ones and the restaurant has rebranded, yet they're managed and owned by the same corporation and the new chefs are entrenched in the same work culture as those that came before them, a culture that likely molded those who came before them. In spite of all this, you still think that you won't be poisoned again.
I don't understand how there is some kind of question about it. Games for years have had good stories AND good multiplayer. How are we going backwards?
@@girthquake2390 Settle down grandpa. While that stuff is a problem, it's just a symptom of finance capital's influence on video games now. Back in the day, these games weren't backed by hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars. That higher level of investment coming from the worst sectors of American society (the ruling class) leads to all kinds of awful things, including DEI. The younger devs who aren't there because of DEI are probably perfectly capable of making games.
We need another multiplayer like H5 was, it was perfect, the pure combination of skill level and fun to play Campaign needs to be at least decent, a complete game is the bare minimum
Wrong, you would rather play the good old halo titles that were made by bungie, then having to play any of the garbage 343 is making. No Halo at all would be bad Buddy.
@@infinitebeing6752I think it would have been better if reach was the last halo game. That way the franchise would be almost entirely remembered fondly and its reputation would have been retained compared to just shooting itself in the foot for years and years now
I agree with you man. I find myself only playing MCC and reliving old stories. Also helps my kids are old enough to split screen and enjoy these original stories for the first time
@@infinitebeing6752bro you just hating. I finished halo 5 not long ago as it was the only halo I haven’t played and it is nowhere close to the reputation it has been given. Infinite on the other hand is the worst campaign by a mile. The game has millions of bugs, trash graphics, no different biomes, boring enemies, crap music and the story goes nowhere
I think a good Halo Game needs a Great Campaign, and a great PARTY Shooter. Not a Skill Based Matchmaking multiplayer. Halo CE is a great Example of that and it’s the game that started the franchise. If Microsoft does make the next Halo in Unreal Engine 5 then there shouldn’t be any problems of having a good campaign and Multiplayer.
The funny thing is it would be so simple to make Halo a juggernaut again. The fact they can’t get it to work after three games is simply embarrassing. Bungie nailed it and their style still works. And those games are all almost 20 years old each. So it’s not an age issue, it’s a spiteful new manager and vision issue.
@@janlim0916 Unfortunate. This is an opinion which I believe is in the huge minority. Halo would be perfect for something like a massive multi-player like that. Maybe mixed with Star Citizen's server meshing technology to support the servers and spread the load of a thousand players?
i dont understand why 343 keeps making these stupid decisions, they have definitely heard how much people hate what they're doing so why dont they actually listen to us and make a change? maybe fire those people who dont like guns while your at it
I don't want an open world Halo. It needs to be a more concentrated environment and story. I feel like an open world would just make the story more disjointed just like Halo Infinite.
It takes a very special type of developer to make a unique open world that is not just another lifeless void of generic activities like a Ubisoft game map. And Infinite showed us 343 is not it, they are nowhere near creative enough to make a good open world game. Should focus on actually understanding the fundamentals of Halo first.
If 343 can't handle the whole package then don't handle it at all, that's my opinion. Halo deserves only the best, not skewed or half assed effort. Same goes for Microsoft as well with Xbox in general but in relation to Halo as well and having the right studio with the right resources. Or just have another studio do the multiplayer entirely since their track record is overall mediorce.
The next Halo should be done by a new studio and take the Gears of War approach. The foundation of the best Halo games is the Human Covenant war. There are so many cool games that could be made set in those 28 years. An ODST milsim game set shortly after Harvest, or a game focusing on lesser known Spartans II's and III's. Halo needs to scrap anything after 3 narrative wise and go back to what works.
I think they should reboot everything that happens after either 3 or 4. As for lore, they can take the Disney Star Wars approach, but in an effective way, not the awful way Disney did it. Preserve what works (Forerunners being a separate species, Flood being the pissed off remains of a dead god, star roads, neural physics and shit), and discard what doesn’t (Forerunners being authoritarian assholes, Cortana becoming a villain, Spartan IVs, ancient humans being advanced with a vast intergalactic empire that makes no goddamn sense)
Multiplayer is pretty crucial. As great as it would be to have a killer campaign, there’s only so many times you can run through it. Multiplayer keeps people coming back and makes the franchise sustainable.
I think the main issue for a lot of games these days it’s just a lack of social interaction. There is such a fear of having a toxic player talk to the community that they mute everyone and then you can’t make any friends and then you have no reason to play the game because you have no friends playing the game
I seriously know how to fix the franchise. I seriously do. Wish they'd just let me direct the entire thing. The story is key. I know what it was supposed to be. Make a podcast man, we can talk about it. Halo 4 rushed the introduction of the Forerunner nemesis and their specific entangled lore with humanity. But it was an intro. Halo 5's terminals were clearly, CLEARLY delving into genetic memory and some spiritual inheritance, or legacy, if you will. It would have provided credence to the rush of Halo 4. It even had the opportunity of redefining what the Halos actually were, the purpose of the Forerunner megastructures, the truth of the Precursors, other civilizations, but all in the context of Humanity vs. Forerunners. We never did justice to the intended lore. Which idiots write these games now? Everything feels like a simple story. When you have a sudden shift in things, like Halo 4, you can't just keep going- You need the next title to revisit, clarify, establish properly that which is novel, and then continue. Similar to The Fellowship of the Ring PROPERLY being laid out by the first half of the Two Towers. There, we knew where we really were in all this lore.
Gotta be real here, 343's lore completely breaks the original trilogys story. With some tweaks 4 could be PERFECT but the Forerunners not being humans ruins Halos lore.
@@QuickScope771I already have a way to rectify this. Make the humans forruner. And then make the didact a group of forruners who believed in trans humanism.
@EggEnjoyer I'm literally talking about fixing 343's shit story. What ended up in the games was crap. I'm talking about way more than 343, what the intentions were, even some things 343 and Bungie understood but never came to fruition. Don't be an impulsive moron. Understand what is being said, FIRST. Before 343 was even a thing, the books were written many years in advance. Humanity was a covenant of its own across a few primordial species and was space faring. I don't know what you're talking about, dude. The Precursors were established. The Forerunners were a mystery. 343 botched everything (along with other YT channels who put it out) with ideas like the Precursors INTENDING to turn into The Flood for retribution, when it wasn't- but an accident, a corruption of what they intended, that turned into a poetic plague that assaulted Forerunners and Humanity. It was meant from the beginning that the specific histories of everyone would be ancient stories to be uncovered throughout the franchise. They completely devolved from that. You want to dumb down the story into some pathetic BS like humans were the forerunners? Not a separate species? That's just rewriting everything that' already set. And makes the lore so shallow. The idea was the upliftment of The Mantle and what it truly means, and the story of strife in politics, even spiritual values, that caused rifts between the civilizations back then. Now we just have a stupid idea from you. There's supposed to be an opportunity to discover more about humanity's origins and the Forerunners and the Precursors and how everything came to be, and what everything REALLY MEANS.
I think they should outsource the campaign to Certain Affinity while they do multiplayer because some old Bungie devs(at least last I heard) work at Certain Affinity. 343 has proven they can do a good multiplayer, and without the pressure of a campaign, I think it would go fairly well.
All they have to do is return it completely to its roots 1. The halo 2/3 art style 2. A point A to point B campaign with semi open world levels 3. 1 fully customizable Spartans 4. Fully customizable and playable Elites, jackels, grunts and brutes 5. Bring back dual welding 6. Bring back the traditional halo color and emblem customization system 7. Bring back blood splatter 8. Bring back the halo reach style unlockable system 9. NO FREE TO PLAY 10. NO MICRO TRANSACTIONS/Battle pass 11. Bring back all of the traditional halo weapons 12. Return the spartans back to their normal size and movement speed 13 a Ranking system that makes players earn their rank with seasonal resets 14. All black and uncustomizable under suits/ tech suits 15 a diverse set of multiplayer maps and vehicles 16 use the halo 3 engine 17 bring back 4 player split screen from online and offline play 18. 4k HDR/Dolby vision support at 120 19. Release the game 100% complete NOT unfinished 20. That's how you know someone on the team has delusions about the meta of halo. Someone who disliked plasma pistoling melee advantage, and who couldn't handle the majority of multiplayer without buffing the og Bungie pink mist so it could outshine all others. It's funny that every other good map has a needler and it gets buffed, but the annoying things that made the game unique were patched out. The mindset clearly comes from a player a bad one at that. Why else would the old games have received nerfs on MCC, like the turret in reach. Why change an old gane... Unless you had beef with that game, that you were never skilled enough to settle back in the day, so you have to sneak around a dying franchise and ruin it, because skill issue made you cope, and hiring you was a mistake. Do you ever get the feeling that someone like that is working there, like a few people? Because some of the changes made to old weapons really feels like hardcore, specified cope to me, uncharacteristic of a dev team. It's also odd that with limited resources someone would devote time to nerfing old things... It's almost as if this person's mindset is one of two, A: I am seriously deluded, or B: I have the direct objective to make people dislike this franchise and I was put in this position or put myself here to stop either a certain group/demographic from having any enjoyment, or to stop a market opponent from gaining sales. They need to do this: 1. Make a campaign only Halo Game 2. Add a multiplayer game that links to it that you can decide to download, like COD. 3. After these, either continue releasing DLC stories in that game, or keep making new halo games, they have a whole new universe now with the banished and flood they can explore.\ I actually liked the evil cortana storyline, I thought it made quite a bit of sense, but they did not execute it well, and the fact that they just skipped over solving the issue is just annoying. There should have been a game where Chief, and only chief, maybe with his team, but no Locke team, should have gone to stop Cortana as all costs with the backing of the rest of humanity. That would have been one hell of a game, but they delivered halo 5, where master chief was Kind of a side character at best.
I’m not sure why you are saying halo 4 had a good campaign or 5 had a good multiplayer. H4’s campaign was generally disliked with the gameplay, levels, story deviations, the enemies, etc. and halo 5 was almost universally disliked for its massive changes to the core gameplay while still maintaining the bad new art style
The idea that they think we have to have one or the other, not both, is exactly what's wrong with the entertainment industry. It's real easy. If you're afraid it's gonna flop, don't slap the Halo name on it. 343 has had the same chance Bungie did, and they failed. Massively. Let's not make excuses, let's just look at the facts and make informed decisions about what we're purchasing.
I think 343 should focus on the multiplayer personally. As much as I love the post Bungie Halo lore, 343i have shown a lack of respect to the cannon quite recently. This means the campaign should be given to another team with a passion for Halo.
Spin-offs are not acceptable. There is no possible reason to split and do a campaign only or Multiplayer only when 20 years ago both were handled with ease, y’all just giving them more reason to invade our pockets by asking for individual shit. They need both MP and Campaign, and put the time into them. Ridiculous they would garner oh we can only do one or the other.
A Halo game needs both to be truly successful, but they're in a unique spot where they can make a new campaign and just connect it to infinite, forge, and infrastructure are already set. Or they can essentially hand the MP reigns off to Certian Affinity or another support studio and have them make an MP hub that they maintain and integrate into new Halo games. Basically, 343 makes a new campaign, and CA updates the MP with a new "season," but on a larger scale. Also, i would rather have a trailer when the game is almost done rather than getting Elder Scrolls 6'd
i'm a halo fan since i'm 7 and i'm getting 28 soon, i don't know any more to be honest, 343 didn't care about the past and what made halo... well halo... and since they don't care about us, the old school fans there can go screw them :/
all they had to do was make Halo 3.5. They had one job Halo 3.5 and they couldn’t even do that right. Halo 3 Anniversary needs to happen as soon as possible. Properly. In other words 343 Industries is BANNED from developing it without extreme supervision.
I know that I no longer care.... there have been more bad Halo games than good ones now... we have tech in our smart phones more powerful than the 360.... yet I think Halo 3 and reach were the true end. The fans build better ideas in their sleep....and yet here we are. There are better games out there. Let the giant fall and show them their failures.
Copy paste MP to Unreal5, Add Certain Affinity's game mode, MAKE AN AMAZING CAMPAIGN STORY, that we blow the fans minds. Open world should be an environment that continues to expand. 343i should be leading, not following.
The more I realise how much 343I ignores it's players and doesn't actually communicate, the more I want a Japanese studio to take Halo... imagine a Square Enix Halo game.
Dear Microsoft this a FREE advise that will save you and help you make millions, STOP FCKING HIRING PEOPLE THAT DONT LIKE HALO, get a bunch of halo fans (maybe the team that made eldewrito o some of the mods), go back to military story (not uuuuu who master chief wants to fuck or that bs) and hire people for the job not freaking contract people that will leave after a year
Lets make games the way that investors like it, as cheap as possible... For the investors!!! With nothing special about it anymore I haven't even opened infinite yet. I loved the original trilogy and reach played they hell out of all of those campaigns. Play 4 and 5 maybe twice it just wasn't as fun and didn't like the shift away from fun multiplayer to competitive multiplayer. Than they drop the halo show.... What the fuck even was that, how do you fuck that up Soo bad. All they had to do was get a halo book, buy the rights to use it to make a show and if done right it could have completed with fallout, but instead of getting people who even liked the halo series to do a show, they got people who thought it was their big opportunity for shitty mass effect fan fic to be a show. Or maybe it's all nostalgia
The original Halo trilogy had an awesomely original and immersive story. It was simple, yet full of twists, iconic likeable characters, and a rich game universe to discover as the backdrop. That along with the innovative and fun gameplay mechanics made for a campaign where the player can't wait to see what's around the next corner. And looks forward to each new engagement, no matter the level of challenge. The multiplayer was such a major hit, kind of by proxy. They already had the winning gameplay mechanics dialed in. The multiplayer was a easy slamdunk. The problem is though, that at the time the multiplayer became so popular that they invested too heavily in it. With the next mainline imstallment, Reach, we got a limited lackluster campaign which basically amounted to a glorified in-game training for all the new features in the multiplayer. Which was released early as a beta btw. It was pretty clear they had both feet planted in the multiplayer camp. And they forgot that what made the original trilogy so special and belov3d was that they had absolutely nailed the fundamentals of a great campaign first. It seems ever since Halo 3, they've never been able to understand what makes those games so amazing. And have since been all over the place. Seemingly thowing anything and everything at the wall to see what sticks. All the new features, story development, mechanics, etc that they've tacked on since Halo 3 havent really added anything worthwhile or engaging. Although I really do think the grapple hook is a perfect tool in Master Chiefs arsenal that would have been right at home even in the original games. I really do hope they find there way though and deliver to the fans an amazing campaign to experience.
Halo plan needs to be care and love for multiplayer and campaign(not to separate the two game mode.) Bungie were able to care for campaign and multiplayer for 9 years. 343 gonna stop trying to be different and just copy OG Bungie ways. That's how you save this dry ass franchise. Don't just focus on one side of halo. Focus on both side and fucking care for once
I fully gave up when my old clan of a few hundred agreed it was time to move on from Halo. Ig none of us are coming back till we see a solid Halo game again. Rip
Personally I'm still still waiting for a Halo game to captivate me like Halo: Reach did. My personal favourite Halo. The armor customisation that felt worth the grind and on top of that your very own spartan showing up in the cinematics just made me fall in love with it all. Not saying the game was perfect, but haven't felt the same about another Halo game since.
Honestly I still think years ago Halo as an IP should have made a Campaign series and an online game that uses the skins from the Campaigns, link the save data from the Campaigns to allow assets to crossover but just make the ONE online multiplayer for the full trilogy, meanwhile making sure each Campaign has local couch Co-op split screen. Then instead of re-inventing the wheel 3 times they make online Multiplayer once, everyone wanting to play that gets their updates and anyone wanting a story/firefight gets their game, keep All 4 games as fully paid games separated, but tie-in forge to only one or 2 of the four while leaving a forge/firefight ACCESS code in the other games, so we can download the game with forge access free ONLY to use online forge/firefights with friends if we buy the other 3 games but decide to not engage with the online multiplayer, but the game isn't SO free that we can cheat on it or treat it like garbage and maybe we eventually decide we actually want the multiplayer and pay to be there.
Tired of people saying Halo infinite campaign was good when in fact it's like the worst right there with H5's campaign, at least H5's had variety. Infinite's campaign was cringe, childish, had DEI involved and it made no sense narratively whatsoever, and it's also the least completed campaign of all mainline Halo games, says a lot about how people couldn't get through that crap.
@@joshuastanford5896I couldn’t even finish it. Unbelievably repetitive. Open world my ass when you go into an underground blue biome 40 fucking times in a row. Pathetic
That's surely an interesting take. I'd genuinely prefer a semi-linear or open-map design rather than an open world tho, it should give the teams a more efficient way to control each map's quality and ensure that action and exploration are properly balanced in SP/COOP. Industry-wise however I think that they'll either go for a combo SP+MP or launch the MP only, cash in as much as they can with it, and have another part of 343 / another studio build and refine the campaign and release it after a few months from the MP's release. Plus: given the loss of many staff members in recent years, I sense that (unless they want to wait for the end of the generation to launch H7 / outsourcing) probably there won't be a Spin-Off title before H7. They desperately need an hit IMO, and I'm genuinely hoping for it to come and rise the banner high again.
Infinites mp is actually great, imo. Lacks better social playlists and a solid progression program not centered on season passes. Also lacking split screen. Campaign was ok in story and great on gameplay but lacked replayability
As a longtime halo fan i want a reboot so bad. With a change from 1st person to 3rd person with the option to go 1st person and assassinations coming back. They could add more meat to the Campaign like cut content.
Could we please bring back armor that was unlocked with achievements/points earned from performance in multi-player... performance in the campaign... like a marriage of what we had in Halo 3 and Reach?
Why wasn't that "This is Halo Infinite" trailer at the show!? That blows my mind it came out a couple weeks before. I do think splitting MP & campaign is a good move. Let Certain Affinity handle MP. In-house studio focus on story driven narratives.
I tbh think 343 is finally going to show us the forerunner's actual capitol(ark version2) because lets be honest... Ask yourselves as the biggest halo fan, what you think ark version 2 would represent?
The frustrating thing for me especially with Infinite, both with the multiplayer and campaign is I think the base gameplay is probably the best we’ve seen since Halo 3. The movement and gunplay feels SO SO good and the art style is a beautiful combination of old and new. But…that’s it. The Campaign was nostalgic and intriguing but felt incomplete. The multiplayer did not receive the post-launch support it deserved. 343 showed it had the potential with Infinite to make a great Halo multiplayer and story but they just left them as half-baked. That’s what makes me so sad, is that I LOVE Infinite for what it is, but it just hasn’t been given the love and care it needs to be great long-term.
Man if I was running this project I would just bring back Halo 3 multiplayer, add more maps, and new vehicles. Flyable Pelicans in multiplayer matchmaking. A vehicle juggernaut game type mode where one player controls a scarab and has an army of Halo 2 super accurate jackle sniper army on its crew, lmfao ill have it set to the point they can snipe through the vehicles to head shot pilots lmfao ! the other players have access to pelicans, phamtoms anti air wraiths, vultures, cobras wolveriens (halo wars stuff) to bring down the scarab, by weakening its fire power in stages by going after power stations to weaken it. The scarab pilot has to take out the other team before that can happen. Inspired by the halo wars mission.

I don't want an open world Halo. It needs to be a more concentrated environment and story. I feel like an open world would just make the story more disjointed just like Halo Infinite.
Rare take but I agree fully
I say get rid of 343 entirely and give it to certain affinity, they do a good job as a support and I preferred their multiplayer from doom.
Bro i swear they always claim they learn from their mistakes but then sell everyone a shit game a few years later
Multiplayer is pretty crucial. As great as it would be to have a killer campaign, there’s only so many times you can run through it.
Multiplayer keeps people coming back and makes the franchise sustainable.
We know 343 is making halo 7 and it's gonna be more hot trash. That is something
343 is so incompetent it hurts
Esports, greed, and awful writing killed Halo.
Away to feck
Gotta be real here, 343's lore completely breaks the original trilogys story. With some tweaks 4 could be PERFECT but the Forerunners not being humans ruins Halos lore.
@@QuickScope771I already have a way to rectify this.
Make the humans forruner. And then make the didact a group of forruners who believed in trans humanism.
You don’t know how to fix the franchise, you’re actually part of the problem by promoting 343’s trash lore and story
Bungie made good campaigns and multiplayers together. Plus we do need a new spin off in halo.
Flood horror survival
I think they should outsource the campaign to Certain Affinity while they do multiplayer because some old Bungie devs(at least last I heard) work at Certain Affinity. 343 has proven they can do a good multiplayer, and without the pressure of a campaign, I think it would go fairly well.

343 didn’t have to do anything but remaster each halo game for their 10th year and add it to MCC. That’s all we’ve been asking for since 2017 :(
They need to do this:
1. Make a campaign only Halo Game
2. Add a multiplayer game that links to it that you can decide to download, like COD.
3. After these, either continue releasing DLC stories in that game, or keep making new halo games, they have a whole new universe now with the banished and flood they can explore.\
I actually liked the evil cortana storyline, I thought it made quite a bit of sense, but they did not execute it well, and the fact that they just skipped over solving the issue is just annoying. There should have been a game where Chief, and only chief, maybe with his team, but no Locke team, should have gone to stop Cortana as all costs with the backing of the rest of humanity. That would have been one hell of a game, but they delivered halo 5, where master chief was Kind of a side character at best.
Why we can‘t have a Campaign and Multiplayer like Halo 2, Halo 3 or Halo Reach.
All three were Awesome
There are *quite a lot* of opportunities to update old games, like adding new maps with cut vehicles, OR MAYBE JUST FIXING MCC IN GENERAL
Next 10 years is going to be halo infinite, they better start adding actual gameplay updates and not just hundreds of cosmetics
Are you delusional halo infinite is not going to last for 10 years.
The easiest answer is kick 343 out of the kitchen and let someone else cook, maybe the original pioneers of the franchise?
Reboot the entire franchise into a dark/gritty true to the lore HALO experience starting with before HALO CE.

Halo is an awesome multiplayer game
Dear Microsoft this a FREE advise that will save you and help you make millions, STOP FCKING HIRING PEOPLE THAT DONT LIKE HALO, get a bunch of halo fans (maybe the team that made eldewrito o some of the mods), go back to military story (not uuuuu who master chief wants to fuck or that bs) and hire people for the job not freaking contract people that will leave after a year
I honestly had more fun replaying halo 4 and 5, Infinite is just too damn repetitive.
343 has done a 5.5/10 job with Halo
Too many examples of individual bad players with big ego on the dev side. It's old, they're old. Enough.
Lets make games the way that investors like it, as cheap as possible... For the investors!!! With nothing special about it anymore
I haven't even opened infinite yet.
Let someone else setup halos MP we need campaigns like the trilogy.
Rip
Halo should go the Destiny route not BOTW.
Halo 7: Finish the Game (please)
We’re so cooked 🙏
We not making the great journey with this one 🙏
A cool idea for a halo spinoff is a campaign on jun from halo reach
They should make an excellent campaign with 4 player coop.
Infinites campaign was mediocre. Narrative is just not interesting .
DEI?
@@joshuastanford5896I couldn’t even finish it. Unbelievably repetitive. Open world my ass when you go into an underground blue biome 40 fucking times in a row. Pathetic
I'm vehemently anti DEI but I don't remember seeing any of that stuff in Halo infinite
@@davidpelaez7176 You okay there? I think you're seeing things that aren't there
"Don't worry, great games are coming soon!"
-Xbox for the last 15 years😂🤣
I can wait for multiplayer, but I’m not waiting for Campaign. It’s priority for me personally, as I’m more interested in the lore and experience.
Honestly at this point I'd rather let Halo finally end/rest than be disappointed again by 343.
Infinites mp is actually great, imo. Lacks better social playlists and a solid progression program not centered on season passes. Also lacking split screen.
Campaign was ok in story and great on gameplay but lacked replayability
It would be an industry first for them to not fuck up the next game. 4 bad games in a row and the 5th one being good just doesn’t happen
In-house studio focus on story driven narratives.
the show is an insult, and the guy behind it didnt even want to do halo, he wanted an ME show. It's not some deep mystery as to why Halo died.
Whats ME?
