What a lovely park/farm Andy has permission to shoot in! He getting as good a shot as Mat is,...watch out Mat , he coming through!! Good and entertaining show again Mat, thanks.
I met Terance Logan at the shooting show in Doncaster this year, very knowledgeable guy, gave me some very sound advice about my Daystate Renagade, and a generally all-around nice guy, thanks Terance.
Great shooting Andy. I always enjoy your contribution to this fantastic show, and long may it continue. A huge thanks to all who put in their time and effort to produce such a great show.
great show. catching up on the new s a little late i'm afraid. Great shooting Andy as always.Great perm. The idiots come in waves, don't worry n keep up the great conservation job. God willing we will bring the native red bk across the UK. BTW the doves are great eating, just like woodie but bit less meat for the same hassle. But that comment is more for others as i know you are a big eater of game birds
Great video I was reading you article in airgun shooter 109 about smells and how to reduce them all great ideas but what about the oil used on the gun I use Brownings Legia spray after using my Gamo Coyote wouldn't the wild life smell that too
Good video but recently I have noticed that a campaign has been launched to suggest that the normal shooting distance for air rifle ( when dealing with airgun quarry ) is about 30 ~35 yards and anything longer than that is a risky long range shot. This started a few weeks ago with an attack on a chap who posts videos about shooting pests in one of the air gun forums. The truth is that 45~ 50 yards are actually normal shooting distance for an airgunner. If the aim is to desuade young inexperineced air gunners from taking ' long ' shots at quarry, then it should be pointed out that young inex[perinced air giunners should not be taking any shots at live quarry at any distance until the point that they have learned how to shoot accurately . Andy Watkins is an experienced airgun competition shooter and he knows the physical limitations of a sub 12 gun as well as any other experienced air gunner. These days we seem to be constantly apologising for the sport that we all love, always looking over our shoulder for the ' big brother ' or the antis. Thanks for an entertaining video.
I popped a pigeon with my wolverine .303 hp it looked like a freight train drove through it's chest a loud WOP and dead meat I like the shape of the cometa fancy looking
It's an air rifle one shot and you have to reload it there was nothing in it I'm pretty sure hes smart enough to load it after he sees his next target.
Is this really going to make any difference to the problems the farmer/ landowner has with this lad shooting a hand full of animals ?he may as well hang out of his bedroom window and pop a few birds off
The whole first minute is explaining that this is pest control and why is so important for the small farm to get this assistance. Abuse isn't here at all. Don't watch these videos and go away.
Abuse? Keep that in mind the next time a squirrel chews through your power lines in the house and burns it down. Remember that the next time rodents spread some virus on your property and a child or pet gets sick or dies from coming in contact with the droppings and then YOU get sued by the parents for doing nothing to control them. You animal rights activists/whiners show more compassion for animals than your fellow human beings and that is the real abuse.
He eat them. It is not for fun. what about all the animals we kill in industry to eat them? it's the same! And if you knew how they kill them you would never eat them again!
I was always amazed by people like you who go out of their way to find videos they know they won't like and leave a comment under it. What is the purpose of it? I truly want to know.
Alpha plus he explained why. They're pests. They Crap in animal food. And all over houses and property. In America you can kill as many as you want whenever you want because they aren’t native and they're a pest.
And why would you come to a pest control/hunting video just to post stupid comments like that. It's not like the title doesn't clearly state they're killing pigeons
Wood pigeons can be the most serious bird pest in agriculuture, gardens and allotments in the UK. They eat seeds, crops, peck at leaves tearing them, often just leaving the stalks and larger leaf veins behind which ends up killing the plant. Pigeons will consume many different types of plants and are all over the british countryside making them a pest species.
I'm 64 years old and Andy was killing ME watching him climb those fences, I got back ache just watching
What a lovely park/farm Andy has permission to shoot in! He getting as good a shot as Mat is,...watch out Mat , he coming through!!
Good and entertaining show again Mat, thanks.
That format with the intro is great. I like that you kept the less than perfect shot placement and Andy's reaction of learning from it.
Well said Sir!
I think the llama enjoys watching you hunt
Wicked shooting Andy i realy like your honest shooting 👍👍👍😁
I met Terance Logan at the shooting show in Doncaster this year, very knowledgeable guy, gave me some very sound advice about my Daystate Renagade, and a generally all-around nice guy, thanks Terance.
God bless you Andy. You got a free ticket to heaven
Great shooting Andy. I always enjoy your contribution to this fantastic show, and long may it continue. A huge thanks to all who put in their time and effort to produce such a great show.

Great video
I was reading you article in airgun shooter 109 about smells and how to reduce them all great ideas but what about the oil used on the gun I use Brownings Legia spray after using my Gamo Coyote wouldn't the wild life smell that too
Love you ❤
Being a beginner what is your best advice to get permission to shoot pests? It's not how good you are but who you know! ??? HELP
Had the mini bullpup till I got robbed, spoke to you at the show, never got to play with it.

lensman57
Well said mate ...
very true :)
lensman57 👎
What kind of gun is that? And how do they record the scope so well?
What camera phone holder is that? I haven’t seen one that sits on the side
There was a mad bell-ringer spoiling the Northern Shooting Show coverage. I don't think it was Quasimodo though, just someone going like the clappers.
Good evening, where do I get a cell phone holder?
I popped a pigeon with my wolverine .303 hp it looked like a freight train drove through it's chest a loud WOP and dead meat I like the shape of the cometa fancy looking
Would be nice to know what scope cam you are using please. another good video lads keep it up :)

Andy needs a decent hat like Matts!
I love my Savage fishing hat thanks ;)
Your gun looks like the obrez from phantom forces
Nice video 😎😎😎😎
You should eat those squirrels
Not necessarily. At the end of the day, the nutrients return to the soil and the bacteria that decompose them
happy to send you some lol
They are awfully tasty
What scope cam is it ?
side shot
Super bri
what is the problem with pigeons?
I have cometa fusion .22 in Pakistan 🇵🇰 & i love it in 220 US dollars.
😎😎😎
Is he the guy from the how to sing tenor video? The guy from the beginning lol
I didn’t think you could feed birds of prey with animals shot with lead pellets?
CARBON FIBRE BOTTLE ON THE WEIHRAUCH
The farmers on my permissions wouldn't be to happy if they saw me hopping over all those fences.. Nice shooting though
You should not climb a fence while carrying a gun. You should put it down, climb over, then pick it up.
GNiessen if it’s your gun and your confident in yourself, you should do as you please. Andy isn’t STOOPID! 😜👍🏽 x
OriginalMarkyBoy iz to
OriginalMarkyBoy its just due to safety issues, if you slip you might shoot yourself by mistake. I’ve seen it happen and it ain’t pretty
It's an air rifle one shot and you have to reload it there was nothing in it I'm pretty sure hes smart enough to load it after he sees his next target.
More video
I killed a dove with a crosman Optimus.177 and I did a neck shot and the dove fell down and it was suffocating
Is this really going to make any difference to the problems the farmer/ landowner has with this lad shooting a hand full of animals ?he may as well hang out of his bedroom window and pop a few birds off
Good question
Woy anjing great shot
if they die quickly(don`t fly/run off) every shot is a good shot
4:27
Woodpidgeon be like 'You really think you're going to hit me?'
Yes. Yes he did.
O no mAh kids
Do you need a license to own one of them air guns
I believe in the US you don't have to own a license, but in Canada you have to own a license for a gun that shoots over 500 ft /seconds
I don't know about UK gun laws
if it's below 12ftlb of energy then no you don't.
No you don't in UK
Rifle looks like edgun
Do you eat the meat
They shopt for fun
Why ? They speak english!
At least you shall eat them so they death mean at least something
Is that Tom Holland?
Andy's kind of boring to watch. He seems depressed when he talks
Joe Doe
Then don’t watch 🤤
I think Andy sounds just fine to me; he's a very talented shooter whose enthusiasm is obvious and encouraging to us mere mortal shots.
I don’t hear that, he’s keen and extremely knowledgeable, a pleasure to watch, keep it up Andy 👍🏻
That’s what an unassuming Englishman sounds like. Not everyone on UA-cam needs to sound like an over enthusiastic American with a sugar rush.
Talk too much
RIP birds and their family
Bra
What are you doing man?! Birds of prey?! Don't waste the squirrels and pigeons those are both fantastic eating.
freezers already full mate, theres only so much I can eat lol
Nice shooting. Would be nice to see more shooting and less talking.
O
In the future, could you play less Glockenspiel, please.
If you are just hunting for fun and not for eating then this is an animal abuse.
Its pest control
The whole first minute is explaining that this is pest control and why is so important for the small farm to get this assistance. Abuse isn't here at all. Don't watch these videos and go away.
MIX tube I let the wildlife eat anything I shoot
He shouldn't wast a life
They have life too.U can’t just kill them easily. How if ur turn into bird and they shot you? What would u feel?
He eat them. It is not for fun. what about all the animals we kill in industry to eat them? it's the same! And if you knew how they kill them you would never eat them again!
Nothing cause if I woulda got shot I'd be dead 😂
Can we just let em living their life free?
You waisted a lot of meat should have ate the squiruli
you'r killing innocent birds......😤😤
Yeah i agree with that
Pineapple.
Parag Kurothe no he's getting diner
I was always amazed by people like you who go out of their way to find videos they know they won't like and leave a comment under it.
What is the purpose of it? I truly want to know.
If you don't like it then don't watch it
it's should not for u.. coz it's animal
This is a bit corny and cringy
I would have to agree it comes off weird
the only thing he says is Ehm
Why do you shoot wild pigeons 😔
Alpha plus he explained why. They're pests. They Crap in animal food. And all over houses and property. In America you can kill as many as you want whenever you want because they aren’t native and they're a pest.

Why are you killing the animals you are mad 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿
Suryansh Gupta did you not watch the video and hear me say exactly why I am killing them????
