Great stuff that you can get Andar Helm in black. It’s out of stock when I am about to purchase one. As such, I chose the Navy to match my Andar Aspen for iPhone. Great full grain leather from Andar. If you don’t have Andar Aspen, you should definitely get one (or two). Both definitely stand out and the leather’s smell is pleasant. Just remember to apply mink oil regularly to maintain that leather and give glossy finish.
The customer service of Andar is also top notch. They exchange my order of Andar Helm before it’s shipped out of warehouse. No turning back for me 😂

Looks nice. Personally I'd go with a dbrand leather skin for the display side, but I don't carry my laptop out that much.

I really like this case and I am thinking of getting one for my MacBook Air. However, please tell me one or two drawbacks about it apart from the price? I just want to make a holistic decision. Thanks!
Leake, I have been using mine everyday for well over a year and I still don’t have a single complaint about it. Still fits perfectly, looks great, no signs of wearing. I have never found a better case personally. If something happened to my laptop I would buy the exact same case again today. Good luck with your decision!

Does it cause overheating?
It has not caused any overheating for me at all. I have an M1, so overheating isn’t a problem. I still love this case and would but it again. Not sure I will ever buy anything else in the future.
