Wow ! This is the best of the best videos you have ever made Jay Cee max, congratulations 🎉🍾🎊, I will always love this video ……I’m a Afro indigenous Salvadoran, my parents are Salvadoran, my 4 grandparents were Salvadorans and my great grandparents were also Salvadoran, base on my DNA , 60% of my DNA is Native American ( Salvadoran indigenous. pipil / Lenca ……28% European ( Spanish , French , Italian , and Portuguese) …. 12 % African ( Mali, Benín & Togo , Cameroon / Congo and Senegal ) I’m so proud of my heritage and I will never denied my Afro mestizo salvadoreño heritage. I don’t understand why the Salvadoran government has denied the the African contribution for more than 200 years , and had make the Salvadoran population believe we are just the mixture of indigenous and Spaniards ….but not Africans or that we never had Africans in El Salvador 🇸🇻, because we don’t have Atlantic coast or Because Africans were never needed in this country for hard labor , do we think Spaniards would make a exception of not bringing African slaves in this territory name El Salvador ??? Or people always mention That Maximiliano Hernández Martínez expelled them out and were send to Honduras, that is not true , he just pass a Law in 1933 denying the entrance to Africans , Jews , Chinese , Arabs , and Gypsy people. But all this cultural groups were already there since the beginning of what is known as El Salvador 🇸🇻 ( Cuscatlans ) , god bless you Jay Cee max , thank you for opening many ignorant Salvadoran eyes 👀.

I appreciate that you really do your best to do your research. Your assessment on the African presence in ES and particularly in Sonsonate is correct. Sonsonate was the primary port where early migrants arrived, including Africans. In fact, most mestizos in most of El Salvador share all three ancestry as it is now evident in modern DNA sampling. The percentages, are, of course, proportionally smaller African, but present nonetheless, visibly or not. This is new for me, I never knew about Africans being in El Salvador the only story I heard from my Grand Father was that long ago the government will bring African people (from Honduras and other neighbor countries) by buses to work in the cotton fields but at the end of season they will make sure every one will go back to where they came from, during my years leaving there I never saw anyone with African resemble, there was dark skin people but we are talking about Meztizos, thx for all your info...greetings bro!!!
Thank you for your video, here in El Salvador we have a lot of afrosalvadorans, I'm one of them. Our history is complex, there was 300 years of mixing, they tried to white washed us a lot, besides Sonsonate, if you go to San Miguel, Usulutan, La Union you'll see lots of afrosalvadorans. We're actually all over the country but sometimes the hairs are a little different blackness is very diverse here and we have lots of light skin tones afrodescendents.

Gracias Ebel.
Thanks for watching and for your comment bro.
@@lesliealvarengacuadra yes indeed. I am aware and I see you guys often during my travels. ❤️

Glad you enjoyed it
Camarada hi. Es cierto sonsonate es bellisimo y grande y si mucha gente morena en izalco, nahuizalco etc encuentras indigenas chamanes etc. Y sus mujeres son hermosisimas. Tambien antes era un lugar muy pero muy peligroso.
Indeed. Great history in El Salvador.
