It's not WalMart's fault your card declined. They attempted to accept it and your bank said no. If you do have that money, then it is on you now to get it to finalize the purchase. It is not bad customer service, but being a bad customer.
Sarah Windgate well, his card was declined either way..but that still doesn't give him the right to ask the business to reimburse him for using the ATM... :/ da hell? I think it's common practice that certain stores don't accept certain type of cards/form of payment..so if he didn't have any other card or way of paying, how is that store's problem? He is totally in the wrong here.. being a smartass and "threatening" to post it everywhere.. :'D pahlease! Pay or leave - is the way I see it.. :P
It sounds like Walmart has an issue with their payment system so they couldn’t take certain cards. It’s not Walmart’s fault you only had your card on you. It sucks but it’s completely unreasonable For you to expect the store to reimburse you for bank fees if you opt to use the ATM. His smart ass wouldn’t have asked that if he were at any other store. He mentioned that “I can pay my bank the fees to purchase at your low prices”. He knew then he had options, he could’ve used the ATM and ate the fee from his bank to Purchase the items at a low cost, or gone somewhere else and uses his card but paid a higher fee for his merchandise
They do though.... most companies have it in policy that you have to serve people like that. you can't let your personal or emotional side interfere with your professional side. Your at work, do your job. Someone talking shit to you, you serve them and go on with your day. Refuse them and you cause a scene, you make problems, you hold everyone else up and you fail to do your job.
Yer your paid to be there so put up with bad customers, don't fight with them. Your not paid to argue and fight with your customers and they aren't wasting their time if they are asking you to do something, that doesn't make sense. Like the guys wanting a pack of smokes, just serve them, takes 1 minute instead of arguing with them which took like 5 minutes and most likely cost the store a customer and money.
it's true, unfortunately. i used to work part time as a cashier and a lot of people tend to act like they own you just because you're the one serving them. they even made complaints ( hell even "personal ideas", what they considered it would make service better ) to me ( that were frankly overreacting or they were just self entitled ) that were the company's management problem, not a cashier's. frankly a lot of people in this video are just so self entitled and nit pick at things. also workers most of the time follow their company's policy which they can do nothing about because they're paid to follow procedures from the top. one of the best examples is the clip at around the 8 minute mark. frankly i don't plan on ever working in retail again, not even part time, it's unpleasant dealing with too many types of "specimens" as i could call some of those overly self-entitled jackasses.
Jasmine was great. That dude was a douche. It’s not her fault their card reader wasn’t working. Just suck it up, get cash from the ATM or just go somewhere else to buy your stuff. Geez
Dont eat there anymore. Learn how to cook your own real food. There are more solutions then threatening someone's job because you think you're supposed to get 5 star treatment or food from a fast food restaurant. That shit is trash anyway!!
notice how instead of writing a letter or email or making a phone call to someone in the corporation with some decision making power, they always pick out the least threatening looking employee to go pick on?? honestly, they never will pick a big mean looking dude it's always some poor nice lady or something
jhanks2012 right ? I work in a ice cream store, these two dudes come up wanting some ice cream, they didn't speak good English, and kept screaming at me because I was scooping the wrong ice cream even though they kept pointing at that particular one, so I got upset and shouted for my much larger male co workers to come help him, they shut right the fuck up , got their shit and left 😂😂
Jesus Christ people ... you are customers. You are not their bosses, or their gods and they are not your slaves! They are trying to make their jobs! Don't you have anything better to do than ask for a supervisor?!
Nelly Davis Nelly Davis really I mean Christ there’s only one nail vid in this video if you didn’t watch enough to know that or to know her name was Lee all you had to say is “I agree with the woman who owns the nail shop”
I honestly don’t know how to feel about that situation. I feel like the owner could have handled it better and I would’ve probably just given her her refund to get rid of her. But at the same time, getting your nails done and services like that are kind of a different category from other customer service jobs. They already spent their time and recourses to serve you, if something is wrong just don’t go there again. Not to mention it was just the toe (?) that was messed up not all them and the customer wanted a refund. Maybe ten percent back maybe ... lol.
The WalMart employee has no control over technological malfunctions LMBO! I am glad she handled herself well,it made the guy recording look like a big douche.
the one with the nail lady, if your daughter messes her nails up ten minutes after getting them done, that isn’t a reason for a refund. her daughter is the one that messed it up.
Vegas I agree! I’m not defending her or anything, but I have to commend her for not making a huge scene. The nail lady was the one who was raising her voice. That’s just my observation, though. It’s ok if you don’t agree with me. I just hope that people realize that it takes two to tango. If a customer makes a scene (or even if the customer is being calm while making a complaint), the employee shouldn’t retaliate/get upset. Whether the customer is right or not.
NAM Jooon Are you calling me a bitch, or are you just ending your sentence with that word? :( I didn’t do anything to you. I was just sharing my insights.
NAM Jooon That’s what I thought. 😂 I agree that a lot of the customers were being jerks! I was just saying that employees can be rude as well. 😊 I’m not completely disagreeing with you, though.
Greta Walmart has less product selection and is filthy in our area! We shop at the Bargain store and the Bay now! The service is amazing and people treat us respectfully!
WalMart says it has the lowest prices buts that’s false. Their customer service sucks and how they treat their employees is terrible. Sam Walton is rolling over in his grave about how his company is being ran into the ground.
Markersable I always have felt uncomfortable with everything and for many good reasons. Looks like I should go in sales and never have to make a sale from how I feel sales hand book lmao.Getting free money now. It helps to make a sale if you also not giving attitude before you even start to help.
More an more ppl deal with stuff like this welcome to life. Ww2 was not won for ppl on both ends to be a over sensitive on both end but grow up and a real pair. Lmao how many thousands of years and knowledge we went threw for a how I feel handbook for sales persons. Lol what ever you say.
Unless the customer is me. Believe it or not I have always been right in my life. In fact, I have only make one mistake and I was 11. That is it. No mistakes and never wrong in my entire life.
His card wasn’t declined but Walmart’s card machine was down so they could only Accept cash. Regardless that wasn’t technically Walmart’s fault plus they were fixing the issue
Business can refund the amount of the withdrawal fee from the purchase amount when it is an error on the business part bc they cant make good on their claims and it is no fault of the customer bc no way could the customer foresee this. And that us all that, the man was asking her to do so it woukd be the same amount as if he just made the purchase using his intended form of payment. She did handle herself well but her answer was incorrect.
Agreed and many salons have a policy that if there is an issue you have to return within 24 hours and allow them to redo your nails before giving you a refund. And they’re nails, they may be acrylic or gel but they’re not invincible. She also kept mentioning her daughters cheer competition. To me it sounds like her daughter wanted her nails done for the competition, and probably doesn’t normally have them done. There is def an adjustment that comes with nail extensions and if you’re not used to them it’s very easy to damage them-especially doing something physical like Cheerleading. She probably got a full set and damaged an embellishment or broke a nail during practice after. The video also shows her daughter was not with them when the Owner kept saying bring her back in. She had no proof of any actual issue with the nails at all. She was right to say bring her back in and we’ll fix them, and was right to deny the refund when the woman refused. No salon is going to give a refund for a full service not being right after the client walks out of the client Themselves is not actually present for them to assess the issue.
the length of treatment of belittling an employee a great many(ALWAYS RIGHT)customers will reach N GO BEYOND just to feel & look(A LEVEL WAY OUT OF THERE REACH)is truly unimaginable..
I work in a store where they believe the whole "Customer is always right" bullshit, and I've had to deal with returns, give items free of charge, and marking things off because they didn't want to pay for a $27 cake.
Adele how is it "poor lee" they were being nice and simply asked for a refund that is not prohibited and they didn't have time to come back so honestly I don't feel bad lee was in the wrong.
Mimi Love Poor Lee because they went in complaining about an alleged issue with the nails. They didn’t actually have their daughter with them, and had no actual proof of any issue. They walked in camera out, demanding a FULL refund for a design issue on 1 toenail, than repeatedly threatened bad reviews if they didn’t get a full refund.
Mimi Love they weren't being nice, the lady was being confrontational and interrupting every time Lee tried to speak. Then trying to intimidate Lee into caving to her demands by saying "I'm putting this on the internet". If that's what you think "nice" is, I hope I don't have to interact with you out in public.
I love how the idiot complaining in the nail salon was stumped into silence when she asked Lee if she was the owner and she replied 'yes'!! She was literally lost for words. I'm guessing she was about to go down the 'you'll be fired for this' line had she not answered as such. A beautiful moment in an ugly clip.
Misskeeleyt Lee said sike bitch I own this building I say no thank you for the money bye bye and to begin they didnt even have to offer to fix the nail you had your service and left the salon so guess what you mess up a nail that's on you
Seriously it should be a rule that you're allowed to smack (not punch) anyone who shoves a damn phone in your face. "This is going on the intern.." "SLAP!"
You're all wrong the card reader was not working properly and she told him to use the ATM which charges a fee to withdraw money. That's what his gripe was. I've had this happen a few times at Walmart but it's simple just go to Atm withdrawal the cash pay the fee. It's not worth an argument.
@@claytonking70 exactly. It’s not that difficult and fussing/making a scene is not going to change the results. It’s not the workers fault and they can only do so much.
- JAVA - ikr! The way she just stood there and SMILED when she was told the video would be all over the internet :P She was all like "Thanks for the free advertising, b*tch!"
The lady complaining about the nails is being ridiculous and demeaning. You don't get a refund if you mess up a nail after you leave the shop. If you ask nicely they'll usually fix it, but they have no obligation to do that.
Totally agree. The nail shop lady was in the right. What the nasty customer was REALLY saying was "I made something up so I can get free service, and I'm pretending there's no possible way I can take ten minutes to get the bullshit problem I made up fixed. Also, I'm trying really hard to sound like the reasonable one even though I'm being unreasonable". At least a few people saw through her BS.
In the ten minutes she argued with the owner she could have got her dam nail fixed for free. Sounds like she just wanted the whole service for free. The owner should have threw her out of the store banning her return
Oh my god!! Amen!! Why do people think that people who work at the bottom of the totem poll make the rules, when it is actually head office/ CEOs that make the rules. we don't make the rules we have to follow them!! We only know what head office tells us. And hell no the customer is not always right!!
I worked in the service industry for many years and I refuse to work at Walmart. People do not understand the mental abuse retail/service industry receive.
Gotta Love Jasmine, something that she has 0 control over and still she stayed polite... She did what she could... I have no idea how she stayed courteous to the end!
Pisses me off when people complain at a drive thru window, it's like pull up and get out of the car and talk directly with whoever. Don't hold the line for everyone else.
You know what....each and everyone of the "customers" in these videos were rude as hell. Customer service is one of the hardest jobs out there because you run across people like this and now I feel for these workers
I have had my nails mess or the color mess up because I forget about it. She's a teenager and I bet you she did something that caused it to mess up. 🤷🏼♀️ I get it she is cheap but she cant demand a refund when the lady can fix it for free. I would've taken it, and I'm cheap and not "rich".
That lady who wanted a refund for the nails is just plain ticking me off. She realizes that nails have to dry. Maybe if they wouldn't of been so reckless and ruined her nails, then maybe she wouldn't have had to even go back to my store. To those who question my credibility, my mom, two aunts, and my father all have a professional license as a manicurist and a pedicurist and have worked for 19 years and counting. Also, that Vietnamese lady probably immigrated to America and started her business never less her life from scratch. The amount of disrespect that customer had toward the owner of that business makes my pity her. If I met her in real life, I would lecture the American out of her. I would give her a piece of my mind.
I know! Occasionally when I my nails done & one breaks right away, it happens sometimes! Doesn't mean it's the tech's fault, could of been mine. I always go & ask nicely if they'll fix it and they always do for free. When people make such big deals out of things like this, their life is truly great. Because clearly they don't have any real problems.
Yeah, Walmart isn't responsible for spotting you a credit if your card was declined. That aside, it's not cool to harras a Walmart worker, who has absolutely no say in the store policies. What do you think is going to happen? She's going to break the rules and risk her job? If that was even a thing she could override in the first place. Is she supposed to use her own savings to make sure you didn't have to pay a fee at the ATM? THAT WOMAN IS WORKING AT WALMART. She has to do things by the book. You possible boycott of Walmart is NOT worth her job, dude.
Suzie Salinas I had a manager once that said to me: “customers lie- in this neighborhood- so id have your back. We can replace that pissy customer 3x over faster than we could ever replace you. Defend yourself and your inventory ...in that order,”
Exactly!! Total garbage here who does he think he is? And btw every damn atm will cost you a certain fee and it depends on your bank's policy withdrawals.
Klutch Krazy Actually correct wording is “the customer is never wrong”, which yeah the idiots will want a Big Mac from Wendy’s all they want but all the complaining will only get them a baconator.
Some places it's "customer is king." Such thinking along with the instant gratification of modern tech has bred some incredibly arrogant customers over the past few decades.
Klutch Krazy Totally. I work at HD and my coworker had this customer who wanted 50% off cause the bag of dirty had a small hole in it. Keep in mind the bag was already on sale for $2.50. My coworker says “The bag is already on sale, for $2.50” This lady literally yells on top of her lungs repeatedly screaming out “THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT” she said it at least 6 times before our ASM intervene.
It’s funny because they film to make it look like they’re right ( the lady wanting a refund at the nail salon and the wal mart guy and airplane guy), but they end up looking like the idiots in the end. People need to learn some manners and just because you’re filming doesn’t mean you’re right.
The lady at the McDonald's drive through was being rude. Regardless of whether or not she had a bad experience with the manager, she should have gone inside to talk to him. Harassing the employee and holding other customers is so rude. The drive through is not a place to air your dirty laundry.
Right. She asked for a number then when he was giving it she didn’t wanna take it and move along. She wanna sit there and keep causing problems. He said you can come in and I’ll talk to you then sheesh.
If she really wanted to talk to him and he wouldn't come to her she should have gotten out of the car and confronted him in person. If I was behind her in the car I would have laid on the horn until she moved.
Guy buying the beer and cigs had like white beard. Like cmon bruh he’s at least 21, said his birth year was in 1964 or something. Definitely deserved to be fired lmao 😂
@@Elor427 , yes but it's not the managers fault since she has nothing to do with the computer system. So he was still being a dick while expecting her to do something. She couldn't do anything because her hands were tied. So bitching about it won't change that fact. When a system is down there is nothing that can be done until the system is up and running again.
It's mostly low i.q. primitives with attitudes from hell. Imagine how shitty someone's life is that they freak out over atm fees that they run into less than 3 times per year, a few fucking dollars total, per fucking year. They are shit heads.
My world history teacher in high school had a point. The man had a banner that said "The Masses Are Asses". He also had a baseball bat merely to scare the crap out of you if you got out of line. Maybe it was because he had tenure and was close to retirement and didn't care. I grew to like him as the class went on.
+Zale Blackwell Ive worked in a hotel which is basically slave labor to the idea of "customer service". It's torture. You literally bend over backwards, use your own money, everything just to make guests happy who most of the time don't even notice. For that reason I always tip really high and try not to cause any issues with anyone that services me. I know the pain.
Hard to watch. She was nothing but apologetic about the situation, trying to offer solutions, the fault had been reported and was in the process of being sorted. How is she specifically to blame for a card machine fault? It happens. Cannot believe the way the customer acted. People are unreal... so egocentric and entitled.
Walmarts card readers are a service, not a privilege. He's a total moron. He points out he can film and upload to youtube as a right, and yet doesn't understand how sales and services is not.
I bet his entire perspective will change after he receives that first good ass whoopin when he comes across the right customer and refuses to give their money back.
+C1rcu1tBr34k3r Like me hmm? I have pimp slapped that trash at Wal mart before then I TAKE my money back (ok true I was worried that loss prevention would be at the door waiting for me but they never were...maybe they agreed with me too hahaha)
these customers are really rude 😬 the staff are people too and they have their own problems and dont need some arrogant customer making their day harder.
he said it was 'scratched out' the customer replied 'its wore out, i cant help that.' it wasnt expired. the employee just wanted another excuse not to help them. i dont see why making someone wait until the 15 minute long line has cleared then to deny them service.
@@LethalAtma Actually being in retail over 20 years myself I can tell you. That if an ID is not 100% readable worn out or not it is not a valid form of ID. I you cannot read the expiration date you cannot accept it. By law
I love that the Airline employee stood her ground!!!! EPIC!If he has a “million dollars in jewelry” on,then he can purchase his own private jet and never have to worry about checking bags in again! Problem solved!
Ten years ago I was a manager at a Starbucks and came across way too many entitled people. I believe I speak for all managers and supervisors when I say we don't give a fuck about you or your first world problems. We will gladly fix the issue, but leave your character flaws at home.
I'm sorry but that woman in McDonald's drive-thru made me want to slap her. She's being incredibly condescending and then when the manager came to the window and tried to give her the information she asked for she wouldn't shut the hell up long enough to write it down. Sorry but move along there are other customers behind you. If you want to act a fool you can get out of your car and go inside and stop holding everyone else up.
if she wanted to complain, she should've done it later over the phone. Just why did she have to inconvenience all the customers behind her and hold up the line? She's being a hypocrite by accusing the staff of being rude and then being rude herself by holding up the line
Doesn't matter how old he was. The law that the cashier is forced to abide by says that the customer must provide a valid ID in order to purchase tobacco or alcohol, regardless of age. He probably stretched the law a bit since he was irritated with the customers, but if you can't see part of the ID that's broken or faded out, even if the date of birth is visible, by the letter of the law, you must refuse that sale. I'm sure the employee has never been happier to refuse someone's ID
it's always the same. 1.take out camera. 2. ask for the manager 3. ask for a corporate 's number 4. ask for the manager's name 5. tell manager you are a paying customer 6.keep lecturing manager that he has an attitude 7.keep blabbing blabbing blabbing because you are at mcdonalds and think you are VIP and it's some 5 star restaurant and you deserve special treatment.
It's annoying that stores can't accept expired ID's but that's the law and u follow it. I had an old ID I accidentally brought into the bar and the waitress was so scared to tell me she couldn't serve me. I laughed because it was my fault grabbing the wrong ID she was so appreciative of my attitide. Hey if it's a law it's a law. Nothing the waitress can do. Water there was great with my mushroom fries.
Why is he yelling at her because his debit card is declined?! Maybe it’s just that his debit card got demagnetized or something but what is the lady at Walmart supposed to do? How is it her fault?
Just let the woman fix her nails, jeez. Why did she think that was worth recording? The woman tried to fix the problem, but the other woman just wanted to be "right" in the situation
Ugh it makes me so sick how entitled people feel just becasue they are "customers". I put myself through college and grad school working retail and I will be the first to tell you the customer is NOT always right. I believe in giving good customer service but only to people who treat you like a human being and not a slave. That lady at the nail salon made me the most mad, clearly she felt white privlaedge and entitlement over poor Lee. I hear her talk about her daughters "event" (probably a pageant) and see the little girls in the background and I feel very sad that this is their example. If I were that kids parent I would have been like "you smudged your polish and your not happy? Well that's what you get for not being careful, pedicures are a privlaedge so better luck next time." Instead that girl's going to grow up believing she's entitled to whatever makes her happy even at the cost of being rude and THAT my friends is what's wrong with kids today. #parentingfail.
Shante Baker Yup, my parents, BOTH my parents gave a damn and raised me as such. Im sssoooo privileged that i enlisted in the military, served honorably, married one woman, only got ONE woman pregnant, I'm in both my daughter's lives because I'm still married to their mother and I work in the trades to support my family. So privileged lol. Im sorry your parent(s) taught you that you didn't have to take responsibility for your life and to say "racism" whenever you failed or struggled. They also probably taught you to just yell louder than whoever you're arguing with and that'll make you right. Most importantly they taught you that all their failures, struggles, opportunities you weren't provided as well as your faults, failures, struggles etc..... were all the evil white man's fault.
Sam Hansen The fact you felt the need to write a long defensive novel about a simple comment speaks volumes, more than the nonsense you actually wrote. I love how you take a dig at the "loud black woman stereotype" when you are the one that started throwing insults at the first person that disagreed with you lol. Privilege isn't about how much your parents "loved you" and it's racist that you assume EVERYONE that didn't have access to the same opportunities you did put in less effort than you did. Keep living in your idealistic world where racism and discrimination doesn't exist (which your privilege allows you) and your daughters will grow up as close minded and ignorant as you are.
Shante Baker You're correct, i shouldn't have assumed you were a loud woman, i didn't even know you were black until i saw your video though. Frankly i assume anyone who tries to perpetuate the myth and excuse of white privilege is a complete ignoramus, however, that is not a fair assumption. For all i know they may be intelligent people who's opinion on this particular matter, differs from my own. Also, my "novel" (that was funny btw, sometimes i just get on a roll lol) wasn't driven by racism. While i know full well it exists, I chose to make my opinions of individuals on a case by case basis. That being said, my experiences have formed some opinions that i do generalize with certain groups of people, but none of these opinions or groups have anything to do with race. Moving on.... I don't have any illusions about the world we live in. There are plenty of racist ignorant white, black, brown etc people, its a simple yet unfortunate fact. In regards to our situation, your skin color is not what drove me to make a veiled insult towards you, or any other statement for that matter. I made the insult because, no matter what color your skin is, to believe in white privilege is evidence (imho) of ignorance. The same ignorance, generalization and intellectual laziness that racist white people display when assuming all blacks are fatherless, lazy career criminals. There is no difference between the two, negative generalization is racism, no matter what you label it. To lump people together based on their race and make a general declaration about them, is racism. Period. In regards to my family.... I teach my daughters the only people they owe and need to prove anything to are themselves. They don't owe me anything, not our neighbors, grandparents etc and not the black community. People will try to convince them otherwise, but they need to think logically. It's important to see through the conjecture made with emotional arguments because they all circle back to a short list of reasons. The main arguments being the travesty of slavery and the segregation laws that followed. My parents, children, wife, family and I hold zero responsibility for these things. Slavery occurred long before any of us, or any other American today was alive. In fact, it was abolished long before my bloodline even crossed the Atlantic. Segregation laws were not only done away with but compensated for with minority requirements in the workplace before i could even talk. So when some people arguing the existence of white privileged site these things as evidence, it makes about as much sense as holding young German children responsible for the holocaust. As far as saying parents are not trying, don't care or simply being deadbeats..... It's my responsibility to make sure i do everything possible to create and provide opportunities for my family to pursue. I pay attention and steer them away from life altering mistakes. If everyone did that, there would be no room for being a professional victim, or demonizing a certain race in this country because people would be practicing personal accountability. I don't assume lack of opportunities is a lack of effort. But when some families don't have pot to piss in and the situation never improves, lack of drive is going to be a pretty consistent trend in those families. The flat fact is that fathers and mothers who aren't deeply involved with and completely dedicated to making their children's lives better than their own, are failing as parents. No matter what color they are. Families are either rising our falling.... which way is your family going when you're calling the shots. Another thing to consider is that the number and quality of opportunities is relative to what a families situation is. Just because the kid across the street had parents that could pay for school and another kid may have to do a few years in the military to get a gi bill, speaks to nothing except how they were provided for. If you weren't happy with your opportunities, make sure your child has more and teach them the same thing. Move yourself up the ladder, instead of looking for someone to pull you up or give you their spot. You want something, you have a dream, make a plan and go get it. A dream without a plan is a wish, and a plan without discipline is just a fairy tale. I write in detail because this is something i feel strongly about. I've sacrificed and worked hard to get to where i am, and every single one of the options or roads I've taken have been just as easily accessible to anyone of any race. I want everyone who's willing to work for it, to find success. The problem is, so many people spend so much time and effort looking for someone to blame and trying to prove that they're owed something, they miss the chances right in front of them. You can complain and finger point or make it happen, the choice is yours. Personally.... "I'm just bout that action boss" good luck
What do you mean he did nothing but his job? He refused to serve them and said they were trying to skip lines when all they were doing was trying to buy cigarettes, you can't refuse to serve a customer because you have a sneaking suspicion they were trying to skip lines. Although I admit he ended up getting his way anyways by taking the beer back which is funny.
No the lady who was telling the people who waxed the floor to get out her face was triggering and the receiptionist who threw the ladies papers away was triggering too
The last time some bxtch was complaining about how I run my store. I asked her. "Would you like to put in an application cuz im hiring & it seems you know how to manage a store."☺
joman66 seriously people act like the assistant manager is making all the rules. don't bitch at an assistant manager because she's following policies put in place by the people that run the company
I used to work at Family Dollar and she pretty much said a lot of things I've had to say to irrate customers. She just did it in an extremely polite & very correct way!
joman66 OMG WTF people are so stupid if your credit card it's not working please contact your fucking Bank...why people jump on how's doing is job properly...shit man.
joman66 They want to get reimbursed for ATM fees? Really? Because their card wasn't accepted, they are butthurt and blaming Wal-Mart? Wow. People think that these businesses are supposed to just do whatever the customer wants, even if it is ridiculous and unrealistic. The customer is always right? Nope. And I agree that the assistant manager at that Wal-Mart was extremely professional and didn't let the customers make her upset or angry. I don't know if I could have been that calm and polite. And why do people think that by posting videos like this on Facebook and UA-cam, these businesses are just gonna give in to them being butthurt? Do they think they're gonna get their way? These kind of people are ones that have never been told NO. They have always gotten their way, they have always bullied people. Our country has become a nation of entitled brats who whine and protest whenever they don't get their way, or if someone doesn't agree with them. I have 2 children and I am NOT raising them to be like this and behave this way. I'm sure all of you reading these comments feel the same way and don't want your kids grow up to act this way.
When will people realize employees are not there to kiss your ass? I see my father talk horribly to them and it disgusts me. They do not get paid enough to deal with people's bullshit.
Indeed. And I've watched a few of these now. And my conclusion is that American customers are really obnoxious, self-entitled, derogatory & rude. And instead of being polite when making complaints. They shove their camera phones in people's faces. Then wonder why they get 'attitude'. Really? My GOD!
Alvin Del Rey yes and no cuz the customer did explain that they don't have time to go in the next day to get it fixed so it makes sense that she'd prefer the refund to go elsewhere to get it redone in time for the event
im on the employee's side for 95% of this vid.. the only possible exception is the mcdonalds drive through one for what was said off camera before she recorded.. if the manager was flippant then yes she had a right to argue her case to him again.. but when he said for her to pull up and he would talk to her and she refused, she lost any rights to it in my opinion
I’m guessing you’ve worked a customer service job because I agree. Customers have the advantage because they know that they are not employed at the particular organization and will literally say anything to get their way.
I've seen some employees go a bit too far and really rude (from my experience, I saw some bully a blind man and get an attitude, don't like them). Buuuuut, I have to agree with you, customers take a lot for granted.
It's not WalMart's fault your card declined. They attempted to accept it and your bank said no. If you do have that money, then it is on you now to get it to finalize the purchase. It is not bad customer service, but being a bad customer.
If you listen closely to the dialogue, you will see that the video description is not what happened.
It sucks but it’s completely unreasonable
For you to expect the store to reimburse you for bank fees if you opt to use the ATM. His smart ass wouldn’t have asked that if he were at any other store. He mentioned that “I can pay my bank the fees to purchase at your low prices”. He knew then he had options, he could’ve used the ATM and ate the fee from his bank to
Purchase the items at a low cost, or gone somewhere else and uses his card but paid a higher fee for his merchandise
People think because they are customers they have the right to talk to people any kind of way forgetting that the person is a human being also.
It's obvious you've never worked in retail. I envy your sheltered life. lol XD
it's true, unfortunately. i used to work part time as a cashier and a lot of people tend to act like they own you just because you're the one serving them. they even made complaints ( hell even "personal ideas", what they considered it would make service better ) to me ( that were frankly overreacting or they were just self entitled ) that were the company's management problem, not a cashier's. frankly a lot of people in this video are just so self entitled and nit pick at things. also workers most of the time follow their company's policy which they can do nothing about because they're paid to follow procedures from the top. one of the best examples is the clip at around the 8 minute mark. frankly i don't plan on ever working in retail again, not even part time, it's unpleasant dealing with too many types of "specimens" as i could call some of those overly self-entitled jackasses.

Jasmine from Walmart handled the situation really well, well done Jasmine, the guy is a sad soul.
That guys voice was annoying af. I want to rip my ears off.
corporate makes the rules not the employees she is just trying to keep the rules to keep her job
Jasmine was great. That dude was a douche. It’s not her fault their card reader wasn’t working. Just suck it up, get cash from the ATM or just go somewhere else to buy your stuff. Geez
For real! I would have kept reminded him very loudly that his card declined! So everyone around could hear since he wanted to be a douchebag.
he is so petty

They always threaten it's going on UA-cam. Big threat.
These workers don't owe you anything. God I hate these people

jhanks2012 right ? Nelly Davis Nelly Davis really I mean Christ there’s only one nail vid in this video if you didn’t watch enough to know that or to know her name was Lee all you had to say is “I agree with the woman who owns the nail shop”
Go lee😂😂
They spent so much time arguing that the little girl couldve have the nail fixed by then lol
Rob Mullin i love how he thinks they can just pull money out their asses to pay for the ATM fee lmao

This guy is being freakin petty! Fees? What? Three dollars? “Where’s my three dollars?”
the one with the nail lady, if your daughter messes her nails up ten minutes after getting them done, that isn’t a reason for a refund. her daughter is the one that messed it up.
Mrs. Shabooski hell nah so damn tired of these “customers” getting their way fuck no bitch

Why would it charge him a fee if his card was declined tho??
He should get punched just because of his voice and tenor.
His card wasn’t declined but Walmart’s card machine was down so they could only
Accept cash. Regardless that wasn’t technically Walmart’s fault plus they were fixing the issue
Hate the Wal-Mart guy talking to the female manager about the atm. She can't do anything to fix a system. Wish he would trade places with her
I know right. It's her fault he didn't withdraw cash prior to shopping.
She did handle herself well but her answer was incorrect.
i wish he could grow some brain too :)))
Guy sounds like an idiot...
Yea, nobody is forcing you to shop at Walmart
Why would you expect a refund from a NAIL SALON!!! If your nails get damaged its your fault. Its not the salon wearing your nails! Its you! 😂
There are a lot of mistakes a nail tech can make that will result in a weaker nail
There is def an adjustment that comes with nail extensions and if you’re not used to them it’s very easy to damage them-especially doing something physical like
Cheerleading. No salon is going to give a refund for a full service not being right after the client walks out of the client
Themselves is not actually present for them to assess the issue.
She also said if theres no no refund sign she deserves a refund lol
Kara S, I agree with u.
Kara S I received a refund one time because they over polished my nails and it came off the next day..not my fault
I love how these people say " customer service" but really mean " I'm the customer so you need to kiss my ass until I'm happy".

You're all wrong the card reader was not working properly and she told him to use the ATM which charges a fee to withdraw money. That's what his gripe was. I've had this happen a few times at Walmart but it's simple just go to Atm withdrawal the cash pay the fee. It's not worth an argument.

Yeah, Walmart isn't responsible for spotting you a credit if your card was declined. That aside, it's not cool to harras a Walmart worker, who has absolutely no say in the store policies. The "customer is always right" bullshit doesn't mean you are actually right. People take that shit way to far
People abuse that advantage.
It’s funny because they film to make it look like they’re right ( the lady wanting a refund at the nail salon and the wal mart guy and airplane guy), but they end up looking like the idiots in the end. People need to learn some manners and just because you’re filming doesn’t mean you’re right.

Albert Jackson then we can say the same thing about those entitled ass white men and women customers as well since we’re pointing out lies

It's mostly low i.q. primitives with attitudes from hell. Imagine how shitty someone's life is that they freak out over atm fees that they run into less than 3 times per year, a few fucking dollars total, per fucking year. They are shit heads.
That guy is an idiot
Why do customers always think they are right?
Potential for free shit and if they are very lucky, a lawsuit

Ashley fraser because they're narcissistic and feel entitled. Because they're black, and black lives matter!
because "the customer is always right"
im a cashier. assholes come from all walks of life, and all races. its about even for who does it more. the worst time however, is christmas.
Retail makes you hate people
My world history teacher in high school had a point.
The man had a banner that said "The Masses Are Asses". He also had a baseball bat merely to scare the crap out of you if you got out of line. Maybe it was because he had tenure and was close to retirement and didn't care. I grew to like him as the class went on.
U can say that again!
True words!
Johnny Pena Yup lol
And customer service face to face
“So you’re telling me that you won’t pay for me to shop at your store? HOW DARE YOU! That’s bad business!”
Nail salon owner totally right
This customer is your typical, privileged, white, baby-boomer.
Way to go, Miss Lee! That whiny, trolling customer is a stubborn pain in the arse. Poor husband :(
@@moniquecabrera4683... Lol for sure, huh.
@@cameronpruitt8339... Not typical cause I'm a whitey and I don't treat others that way. She has issues.
Wm Petroff I agree with Cameron Pruitt. Not all “whiteys” act like that.
tl;dr: "I'm a customer spending a few dollars therefore I can be as shitty as I want to employees"
These customers should be kicked out, free market.
That poor Walmart lady. XD She's just an employee! Not the CEO of Walmart.
The nail salon lady may be my new hero lol
U go Lee! Don't let no one blackmail u!

Jasmine has unbelievable patience.
Hi manda😘
I give props to the Walmart associate. She handled her composure well.
Ten years ago I was a manager at a Starbucks and came across way too many entitled people. I believe I speak for all managers and supervisors when I say we don't give a fuck about you or your first world problems. We will gladly fix the issue, but leave your character flaws at home.
"leave your character flaws at home"....LOL High five....
Michael Highwind too true hated being a supervisor in an arcade
pinkmaggott what? that's insane!!!
pinkmaggott I hated the "I can tell the difference between half a pump and 3/4 of one." Bitch please 😆
Fuck yeah!! They just want to get shit for free most of the times
Marlena k8 thats what I hate most. “Customers” keep bitching even when the manager tries to give them what they want
Captain Vamcat those are the ones who don't really want to be pleased, they want to feel superior.
if she wanted to complain, she should've done it later over the phone. Just why did she have to inconvenience all the customers behind her and hold up the line? She's being a hypocrite by accusing the staff of being rude and then being rude herself by holding up the line
kimmy77512 ....exactly!
She was just annoying as fuck, my goodness, like shut the fuck up!
‘ I can’t take that ... and you can’t buy this beer either”. Snatches beer off counter 😂🤣🤣🤣

aww poor jasmine...she is just following the guidelines and rules!
The guys at walmart buying cigarettes and talking shit had fake IDs which gave the cashier great pleasure to deny them their cigs and beer. I love it!
Shara A. The man had a grey beard. He was old. The customer service guy was a racist ass
😂Absolutely
Doesn't matter how old he was. The law that the cashier is forced to abide by says that the customer must provide a valid ID in order to purchase tobacco or alcohol, regardless of age. He probably stretched the law a bit since he was irritated with the customers, but if you can't see part of the ID that's broken or faded out, even if the date of birth is visible, by the letter of the law, you must refuse that sale. I'm sure the employee has never been happier to refuse someone's ID
jfree1998 you’re assuming that a man is acting a certain way because his skin color is different than those whom he is speaking to. That’s racist.
The id was expired..
it's always the same.
1.take out camera.
2. ask for the manager
3. ask for a corporate 's number
4. ask for the manager's name
5. tell manager you are a paying customer
6.keep lecturing manager that he has an attitude
7.keep blabbing blabbing blabbing because you are at mcdonalds and think you are VIP and it's some 5 star restaurant and you deserve special treatment.
That pretty much sums it up 😆
I find it so annoying when you step up to the customer and apologizing etc and the customer is still complaying and talking in a loop. Ugh.
SchennyPoPenny complaining
I Agree! That’s the worst... it’s like I understood you the first time... repeating yourself is not accomplishing shit. I doooont caaare.
The Wal-Mart with the guys recording the guy about waiting for 15min. His ID was invalid!😂😂😂😂😂😂 love it!!
Lol

Dude just pay the fee, if the system is down is down, what can she do ? Nothing
How cheap ... complaining about 3 bucks
Yeah, or come back tomorrow...... trouble maker.......
Alex Kennedy many many shops like that take you a run for your money expensive pedi or mani for crappy work
Yeah and she offered to fix the "crappy work"
Alex Kennedy agreed. she said she'd fix it herself. you cant get a refund without evidence.

True that!!!#parentingfail
That last statement is a perfect example of white privilege.
Shante Baker
Yup, my parents, BOTH my parents gave a damn and raised me as such.
Shante Baker
You're correct, i shouldn't have assumed you were a loud woman, i didn't even know you were black until i saw your video though.
He said "Yo ID expired, I can't take that" & took the beer back. YOU GO SIR. I don't know your name cause you didn't have yo name tag on BUT YOU GO.

Parker So Fetch lol yessss
What do you mean he did nothing but his job? He refused to serve them and said they were trying to skip lines when all they were doing was trying to buy cigarettes, you can't refuse to serve a customer because you have a sneaking suspicion they were trying to skip lines. Although I admit he ended up getting his way anyways by taking the beer back which is funny.

joman66 They want to get reimbursed for ATM fees?

Alvin Del Rey yes and no cuz the customer did explain that they don't have time to go in the next day to get it fixed so it makes sense that she'd prefer the refund to go elsewhere to get it redone in time for the event
Alvin Del Rey although people are saying she was trying to get a free manicure so I now see that too lol

im on the employee's side for 95% of this vid.. the only possible exception is the mcdonalds drive through one for what was said off camera before she recorded.. if the manager was flippant then yes she had a right to argue her case to him again.. but when he said for her to pull up and he would talk to her and she refused, she lost any rights to it in my opinion
I side with the employees 100%
Me too.
@Ricky Roma Neither is self entitled bitches who think because they degrade employees and then film that they'll get their way. Fuck off.
