And OMG... now I want to write the hat with more rows for the brim : )!!!!
Hehe! To each their own taste! Love the pattern--just knit my SECOND for my oldest daughter...she asked for one as soon as I cast off the first. 🙌 You'll see it on the podcast next time! ~a🥰
My favorite is the Musselburgh hat. I love that you can reverse it and the way it knots up is just so much fun!
My absolute favorite hat is the Quynn by Wooly Wormhead. So many sizes, looks great on men, women, kids and babies. So gorgeous in color changing like Noro.
The Skiff Hat by Jared Flood is an awesome hat! Thanks for sharing and being my knitting companions! ❤️❤️
Love to watch all of you interact. I’m really loving the Hooked on Grannies KAL. I’m a little behind from traveling. No easy jobs out there. You’re doing the best thing to have something you love with Yarnia. 💕🌸
That yarn is absolutely gorgeous🤩Some of the hats I like are the Julia Slouch Beanie, Mount Ambler, Midvale Hat & Twisted Cables hats! Take care everyone!🥰
The Musselburgh is so easy to knit on the go! You are all great and your podcast is one of my favorites!
A hat pattern I love is the "Neck Warmer Hat" by Elissa Sugishita which can be found in the book "Knitted Gifts" by Interweave. It's a lovely hat that can be turned into a cowl, or a hat with a ponytail going through it.
The Graham hat by Jennifer Adams is my go to for a worsted hat, I've made at least 5 for my brother over the years! 🥰
i still think this is the best podcast on youtube. You ladies are fun fun fun!!
You are so sweet! 😊😊😊
My all time hat pattern is the Musselburgh hat. Love love this hat. I always have one on the needles. ❣️🧶
Very nice video, best wishes for you all 🌸💐🌸
Two of my favorite hats are the Thermal Cap and the Bankhead Hat.
My favorite hat pattern is FITS THE WHOLE FAM by Cozy Up Knits; holding 3 strands of fingering together, change the strands out as you desire, or not. I've made it in every color and some with a strand of mohair. It is a 1/1 rib so is very stretchy. I love your podcast energy. I usually knit about 10 stitches after I fall asleep and of course I can identify them because I always have to correct them when I wake up.
Thank you for another wonderful podcast. Haley, good luck at school. I love the Barley Hat by Tin Can Knits.
I am very into making my scrappy hats these days. It's fun pairing the colors together!
I always love watching your podcast. This year I am really loving the Musselburgh hat. I’ve made 6 so far this year and I plan to make at least 3 more this year.
Drizzle by Mel Ski is my all time favorite hat pattern to knit and also to wear. I’ve knit 3 of them so far including how I knit the brim area.
My favorite hat to knit is the Sockhead Slouch hat, by Kelly McLure. I think it is a great gift knit!
My go-to hat is "The Boyfriend Hat". I am also itching to try the 1898 hat, love the ear flaps. The new colors are gorgeous!
Hello from Deep South Texas. The Barley hat by Tincan Knits is a favorite and, as with all their patterns, comes in a wide range of sizes. Fun episode as always.
I love the Myra hat is my favorite!
Hi girls! Truly enjoy your podcasts! Beautiful new Yarnia yarn! 2 of the
hat patterns I like are the Musselburg and "Ross Hat" pattern.
Happy Knitting!
Hello Ladies! at the top of my hat list is the Hoarfrost hat. Its so pretty.
Haha...I loved "Copious and Scribe"! It's always so fun to see the lovely dynamics between all of you and especially the beautiful mother-daughter connection between Haley and Kathleen! I'll throw in my vote for the "Snowy Flower Hat" by Midori Hirose. I recently knitted her Snowy Forest sweater and have been longing for a matching hat! What do you think, Amanda?
Currently, the hat that I'm loving is: Alaska by Camille Descoteaux. I am also working on getting my things together for "Thorn", Faerie Knitting/Alice Hoffman, Lisa Hoffman.
I love "The Katherine Hat" by Erin Kate Archer. another pattern that says 2 skeins but I have never needed all of one worsted skein to make. Those colors are Lovely!
I really enjoy watching your episodes! I have really been into the sockhead slouchy hats lately. I think that the Fall at Yarnia colorway would be beautiful for a sockhead hat!
My favorite hat pattern is definitely the Bank Head Hat.
Aida Boza . Thank you Ladies. Some of my favorites hats: Oslo Hat-DK, Saku Hat Worsted, Brick Sidewalk Beanie (great for Kids).
My favorite hat patterns are the October hat and the Musselburgh. Only ones I have knit multiple times.
I love the antler hat
I am addicted to the Musselburgh. Your yarn colors are fantastic
I had to go buy the Laxo pattern and cast on today. I had some Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran in my stash in a came; color. The dyed yarns are gorgeous
Hi ladies love your projects and all the luscious yarns you have surrounding you. I would knit the fisher cable hat by Lindsey Felice or the June hat by Meghan KellyI as they have been on my list of projects for the longest time, but
I usually let the yarn “tell “ me what it wants to become. 🤗💕
The Marlo and Mesa hat from tlyc blog are my favorites
Hello Ladies! I enjoyed your podcast! I've had a few hat projects for worsted weight hangin' out in my Ravelry favorites for a while. Two of them are February Hat by Kate Gagnon Osborn, and The Mossy Lane Hat by Daleside Knits. I hope to knit one before cold weather hits Ohio!
The Musselburgh is my go to hat right now.
I’m planning to make a sea glass hat by Wool and Pine as a gift this year; I’m currently knitting the sea glass tee. I am also planning to knit, maybe next year, It’s Not About the Hat by Susan Rainey to learn the ladderback jacquard AKA invisible stranding technique for carrying yarn across any number of stitches without catching floats. I find that hats are a good canvas for practicing stranded colorwork techniques.
I suggest the Greystone hat by Melissa Thomson. It’s a worsted weight pattern. Quick to knit with some lovely cables.
I literally just got in everything to do the Christina hat that has the pearl beads on it. I just need to make the time to do it!
I never got around to sock bingo this summer because this has been my summer of hats. I haven’t been knitting in worsted weight, but I have knit a lot in DK. I currently have Cabriola by Katrin Schubert on my needles and I knit her Camella twice earlier this summer. I knit Papilo Hat by Jenny Penny - I finished that a few days ago. I’ve also been knitting a basic Nordic winter star hat.
I’m so in love with that color wheel yarn! I hope to budget for a sweaters quantity very soon. My go to hat is a sock head but the jelka is one that is fun too. I hope your feeling better Hailey.
Thank you!
Love the Laxo Hat! I’m not much of a hat knitter, oddly enough, but my son loves them. He also has an enormous head and I’ve tortured myself knitting Musselburgh hats for him.🤦♀️ So my next hat project for him will be the Harlow Hat by Andrea Mowry. Because I’m determined to learn Brioche!
Musselburgh and Wormhead are my faves.
I make a lot of hats currently am loving the Musselburgh.
My favourite hat is the Parkview by Tracie Miillar.
I LOVE the Rafas Hat by Joji - only pattern I've ever knit 2 of!! Written REALLY well, and it's worsted :D
I've enjoyed making several of the Little Boxes Beanies by Benjamin Matthews for my family.
I don’t make many hats but I liked the Flicker and Flame pattern Would try that one
I'm currently doing a test knit for a honeycomb brioche worsted weight hat from Made by Tallow and I love the texture and squish factor! I recently stumbled upon your podcast and look forward to going through older episodes!
Aww, thanks! 😊
I am going to cast on my first ever sock head slouch. I just finished a “the Cassandra” which was a chunky cable hat.
I am going to be making the Musselburgh hat with leftover sock yarn! Its a KNAL!
I don’t have a favorite hat paternn, but you can’t go wrong with Wooly Wormhead she is my favorite hat disigner
She does have an amazing selection of hat patterns!
I have always admired “The Alaska Hat” by Camille Descoteaux it’s so lovely 🥰
I think my favourite hat I've made is Shetland Muse by Felicity Ford because the colours are so pretty (I used the same ones she did). I also really like Kozak by Cecelia Campochiaro - I made one for my brother and then had to make myself one because it was sooo cosy. I think my next hat will be a Mussleburgh by Ysolda Teague
I love the following worsted beanies, I have made them. Antler Toque, Hunter and Apple Pie by Tincanknits, For a colourwork one, Sister from Anther Mister, Libby Jonson, and finally Liane Hat by Tatsiana Matsuik. If you prefer crochet I have mad #74 Cozy Colors Slouchy (with alternative brim) by Amanda Chapman
Vinca by Pelykh Natalie is a pattern that I have knitted several times and gifted .
The Westward Hat by Rebecca Woelber it a cute quick cable hat.
Those yarns over there are just sitting there, shining, in my colors! Beautiful!
I think my favorite hat to knit is The Oslo Hat by Petite Knit.
I love your podcast. I would make another Bankhead hat!,,
I’m eyeing the Flicker and Flame hat by Andrea Mowry!
Hi from Saskstoon!♥️♥️♥️
Hi Bonnie!
I like the squash blossom hat by irina anikeeva. It’s not worsted but so pretty
I'm still wanting to knit the Harlow Hat, Highway Hat, or the Dahlia Hat
I’m curious about the Porto hat by Ysolda Teague however I’m not the biggest fan of ribbing. I’ve made several musslebrugh’s but none for me so I definitely need one!
I paused this video to buy the Laxo hat pattern! Love it. Thank you for sharing it.
I wish I had a recommendation for a hat. I’ve only made 1. My first hat was the Barley Hat by Tin Can Knits. It’s also one of the first things I ever knit so its a hot mess that never sees the light of day. 😁 I’m joining the Breaking Yarn Musselburgh KAL that starts in sept. Excited to do try that pattern. Hopefully I’ll be able to wear that out in public. That coastal color… 😍
Always have to go w a sock head slouch!! Love that tulip color!!
Ok, don't put me in the giveaway, please, but let me throw in a vote for the Alaska Hat by Camille Descoteaux! It's an absolutely stunning piece of colorwork, certainly not something for a beginner, but it is so pretty! In addition, Take Notice by Kino Knits is a really amazing cabled hat, and I'd be torn between the two, so please don't make me decide XD
As usually, I absolutely loved seeing your WIPs and FOs and I've added even more patterns to my want to knit list. It's a never ending story! Well, I frankly have to hop off now, because I am still playing catch up on my Hooked on Grannies grannies and I doubt I'll make it before the next gettogether - but one can try, right? Happy knitting, and thanks for the company!
Another wonderful podcast ladies; Great job; always fun and inspiring!! I love lots of hats, but, Harlow Worsted by Andrea Mowry has been on my mind lately; really wanting to complete a brioche project. Also planning a Field of Wildflowers by joji Locatelli for her FallKAL2022!! Happy Knitting until next time!! ~~ Lori
Thank you!
Clayoquot toque from Tin can knits is on my mind this week and will probably be on my needles soon :-). Take care ladies, Kate
I like The Geneva Hat by The Velvet Acorn.
I cast on the Gretel by Ysolda Teague as I started this episode!
Henrico hat…. And it’s free too
I love to make the Quick Ombré Hat by E. Dormier. It’s a pretty 2 color worsted weight hat that looks more complicated than it is.
Btw, I have signed up for your newsletter twice, but I’m still not receiving it. Can you check on that for me, please?
Hi Rebecca - if you email us at hello@shopyarnia.com I'll get the situation corrected - thanks! ~K
Lots of fingering weight in stash and keep hearing how warm it is, so this Buffalo girl is going to knit a Musselburgh.
Love all the new knits you wore today 🤣🤣🤣🤣just kidding. The most recent hat I have been recommending is The Photographer Hat by Lavanya Patricella 🧶🧶🧶
