My daddy lost his life on an oil rig. He was a welder/roughneck. This was on December 10, 1957. Rig exploded while being moved upriver in Louisiana. There are a lot more safety laws now. Luv ya both, stay safe: GRAM in TEXAS.

I love Galveston 💕! Fishing off the Main Street Pier. My Great-Great Aunt Jo owned the the Main Street bar on the street. She ran it until she was a 102 yrs. old.

Hi guys. We toured the oil rig museum and the ship. Very interesting. And stayed at The Harbor House. Galveston is such a cool city. Many beautiful old mansions, too. We've also stayed at the Tremont.
The bar on the roof is nice. Moody is amazing. Can't wait to see the rest of this leg of your trip. ❤❤

So cool seeing the Ocean Star. This is what my husband does for a living, not in the ocean but on land. It was cool hearing you talk about the parts of the rig and knowing what they all are. Frank come to WV to start your drilling career, my husband will give you a job lol

If you ever go to Ft Worth Texas eat an awesome steak at Risky’s and visit the stockyards. The Museum of Natural Science and Omni theatre are awesome also and the Zoo is amazing too. Texas has many ghost towns too that are neat to visit. I was born in Houston Tx. Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi is cool.

I hope y'all had fun in my hometown...the island is a cemetery in itself. My great grandfather helped rebuild the island after the 1900 hurricane and all the bodies from the devestation are buried beneath...they built the island up 16-17feet above where it was when the hurricane hit...
btw, you ate at one of my favorite restaurants there on the island..they charge tourists all those outrageous prices, I hope y'all had fun anyway. I also hope y'all took the historic ghost tour ... very fun and interesting... honestly anywhere you go on the island is haunted, I've gotten lots of great evidence all over the place.A lot of my family has workedon the rigs and as long shoreman.. y'all have fun and stay safe
