How strange, I have both feet operated on but my recovery took more than 2 months per foot to start walking. I don't know much about the details of my operations because I also walked on tiptoes. It seems strange to me that most of the comments that I have read already in 2 weeks are already walking.

Anybody with post op feedback on this? I've had mine done 4 weeks ago and I'm still in the walking boot.

I’m currently 2 months post op, and two weeks out of my walking casts. The first day out of the casts it was really hard to walk and my legs were really shakey but that got better after a couple days. My ankles are very stiff and swollen but I am going to physiotherapy which is helping a lot with the stiffness. My heels have been really sore ever since I got the operation so I can’t stand for long periods of time, but hopefully it will get better soon. I’d say my recovery is going pretty well, but I definitely can’t run like this guy thinks he can 😂😂.

how bad is the pain immediately after surgery?

@@helsonly722it depends on the person but for me it's really really bad. I can't even take 2 steps so I have to use a wheelchair. I just got it today so I'll see how bad it gets
