Beautiful Bird. Overhead warning lights are similar to the Lincoln Mark III of this same era. I was surprised that Unique Classics didn't demonstrate the rear door operation (suicide doors), as that particular feature is definitely one of the highlights of this model. Very nice example of a four door T-Bird and a pretty cool one-year design for 1970

The 67-71 suicide door Birds are BADASS! This one is definitely a keeper!

I remember looking at these cars when they were brand new! Around 7500 to 8500 hundred dollars.....the ONLY cars I also liked were the Cougar XR 7s.......loved that dash board!

Didn't show the back seats or the suicide coach doors! What happened. That's the car!

I had a 70 2 door fastback with the buckets and console. All of these plus the 71's had the Thunderjet 429 from the factory. These cars are built for the highway. They have great sit-you-back acceleration and lots of stump pulling torque. Are surprisingly willing to more than overwhelm the tires and will effortlessly exceed 120 mph.

gorgeous, wish you had shown the back seat, which is special in this car, though--esp with coach doors!!

Didn't even open the opposing suicide doors. That's a terrible presentation of a great unique car.

I have this same beauty in teal, with a black vinyl top. I love her so much, and the suicide doors are honestly so much easier for my kids to get in/out of! The 429 still rumbles like a beast, too.

My first car was a 1970 Thunderbird. Maroon in color with black interior. Paid 2495 for it in 1974. It was a 4 door model. Love the look of the car. I wish i would have kept it.

I notice this bird has a VERY rare option of the high mounted stop lights on both sides of the rear window. I am a bird collector and have never seen this option in person!

I don’t gamble, but if there were a lottery for winning this car and lifetime of free gasoline I sure would be tempted.

Nice condition, but everything should be working (like A/C) before it's offered for sale, at that price point. Including all else that may need attention. It caught my eye since I owned a Yellow/Black '68 Mustang (CA car). And at first I thought this was yellow and black but to my surprise......it's dark green and doesn't surprise me.

Why didn't you open up both the suicide doors at the same time? That's one of the best features of the entire danged car.

I had a 1969 model with the touring suspension. Sweet riding car. Rode like a Lincoln towncar, but I liked my Bird better

Not to nit pic-but they were never referred to as TownCar. 4 door Landau, Town Landau was a 1966 name only. Secondly the roof material is officially named "Cayman" grain. And thirdly you missed perhaps the rarest option ever on a Thunderbird that this one has-the rear window mounted high mounted auxiliary brake lights. A vid of the tail light/turn signals/brake lights would be great. The bulbs are accessible from the interior, there are small Phillips head screws that allow access to the bulbs, 1156 is the bulb numbers if I remember correctly. Great car all around.

Gas MPG.. 9 MPG. I had a 1970 2 door coup. What a gas hog, and things keep breaking. $14,000.00 maybe.
