This has been one of the best, clear and organized videos I have encountered... Thank you, plenty of confusions clarified.
I didn't know youtube can be that helpful. This video is amazing in illustrating the concepts of mechanical ventilation. I'll definitely recommend it for anyone who has hard time understanding this tricky topic.
Thank you so much.
I cannot thank you enough for this video! I’m a medical student in my final year, studying for my internal medicine exam and this video has been beyond helpful! Thank you so much 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I was literally struggling to understand how the mechanical ventilation works from my book and you just simplified it on another level!
I haven’t even finished the video yet but I have to say that is the best video in its kind of all UA-cam, the way you exposing it is so methodical and logical to follow that you can understand everything, and believe me, people always struggle explaining all of this, thank you so much for your work, and now I’m continuing watching the video thanks!
i'm having my first ICU exam next week and the book does a horrible job explaining this concept. THANK YOU sooo mucch for giving me something to visualize the concept.
😄
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I WAS STUDYING MECH VENTILATION 3 SEMESTERS AGO?!! GREAT EXPLANATION, BETTER THAN MY PROFESSOR.
This is the best explanation of Ventilator I've ever seen. Thanks
It was so clearly demonstrated, I want to connect myself to a ventilator right now.
hahah hilarious
😂😂😂😂
i could grasp in one hour (listened twice) what I could not in 2 days, unfortunately not many more videos from you
Thank you so much!! One of the very best explanations I have come across.
You are a great teacher...More please!!!
Congratulation, one of must complete and simply video for ventilation. Thank you
This video is very helpful! I am Internal Medicine Resident and working in ICU. Thanks
Crisp and clear. No words to say
I have been watching videos on vent since yesterday. I think this one is the best
Best video explaining PEEP concept ; AC mode & regarding other ventilator settings in relation with ABG analysis..thank you..Doctor from India..👨⚕
Positive pressure mechanical ventilator of this type is not 100 percent perfect for covid19
FInally get clear with Mechanical ventilation and differences between modes. Thank you so much.
Thank you for easy illustration with a ample. ..very helpful video
Best video for newbies on mechanical ventilation.
I am.surgeon from India...great and easy to understand explainaton...so lucid
I am really impressed with the delivery. A good job done. Five stars
Very much informative video lecture. Very much simplified .cleared my lots of queries in short span of time. Thank you

One of the best I've ran across thank you
10th of April 2019 and this video is still clear and amazing ..... thank you
WOW!!! GREAT JOB!!! Such a great explanation of everything!!!!!! Thank You, keep up the GREAT WORK!!
Really good video, easy to understand and good visual. Thank you for simplifying this.
This is amazing , couldn't help commenting twice
Thanks for watching!
Great Job! Well organized, well explained. Thank you!
Dope stuff and still relevant, only came across it now.
Excellent. Very organized. It would be helpful to change "cc" to "mL" which is the Joint Commission mandate for volume and the current nomenclature for orders/therapy. Also, I have seen, which I think you are referring to as SIMC-PC, as "PRVC" (pressure-regulated volume control) in the ICUs that I teach. (I may have your acronym wrong). It would be work giving some of the alternative "names" for these modes. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this high yield vedio, now i have the basic concept of mechanical ventilation in a short time.
Thank you so much ! You did an amazing job in presenting the concepts.
Superb review. Thank you
This has been really helpful! Clear, brief and precise! Thank you so much for enlightening me!!! :)
This video is excellent! Only critique possible is the lack of equivalent units in the metric system aimed for non-US citizens (for example, the formula for calculating ideal tidal volume uses height in inches only). Other than that, amazing job!
Agreed, great video. You're right about that formula (and consistency would be a nice improvement) - in most other places I do see both unit systems used, though.
2018 november its still very useful thanks a . lot...
it is so clearly demonstrated and explained so well. Thank you so much.
you got a new fan! this is perfecto ! thank you for all
Hi. Please which application can I use to create this lectures? Thanks so much.
Kehinde Elisha
Best explained mechanical ventilation. Tnx.
Amazing. I only have one question. Why is PSV used in the ICU if SIMV PC is not used. Isnt the main issue that patients may get fatigued in SIMV?
No mention of I:E ratio at all???
thank you so much for such an amazing lecture
Very nice and exclusive .....
My patient has this mode SIMV (PRVC) + PS is this a volume controlled or Pressure?
Very good information of mechanical ventilation made easy. Absolutely must watch video to get basic and useful knowledge of ventilators Dr Shobha Vatkar MBBS MD DA
Very useful and practical knowledge , thank u so much!
Best explanation ever.. Thank you so much.. Pls post a video of BIPAP setting 🙏
Assisted control volume control is written as ACPC, please correct it
and please check the classification written are correct or not? bcz simv vc is written as controlled mode and acpc as hybrid mode
We have a volume control transport ventilator that has a high pressure and low pressure alarm and setting. What would the high pressure setting be for and should it be adjusted differently based on the patient condition? High is 15-80 cmH2O. Many Thanks.
Thank you so much you legendary teacher
I am an electrical engineer, still understand to some extent great
Thank you
Really appreciate this vid! (Also: glad presenter has slowed her speech rate down when compared with the O&G vids, which were also good, but a bit hard to listen too ;-) )
And what about effet shunt madame?
i think the classification of controll hybrid is mistake there...watch around 11: 30
Great video!
really excellent vid......thank u so much
At 11:30, should Assist Control Volume Control be: ACVC?
That was so helpful. Thanks
Hy I am ur new subscriber ur video is so good
Great video!!
Simplified video on mechanical ventilation
Thank you .... ❤
please make more videos like these on other subjects
Thank you ms

Thank you
excellent
may Allah support you all
but need more hint on others as e.g jet vent. & membrane oxygenation & Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist
otherwise, this is simple explanation for primary basics
thanks
Oui justement la compliance differe d'un patient a l'autre il y'a une GRANDE difference entre des poumons normaux et quelqu'un en SDRA Ya madame yehdik
Thank you.
thanks a lot
