what brush does he use to connect the two waters?
Wouldn't that be easier working on a grayscale first and applying the colors afterwards? I mean, it's easier to detect the different values and work with distance to make a more appealing artwork when working with black and white. =)

Hi, I'm struggling with the very first part, please can you help me. I'm trying to lasso an area and then remove it within the layer mask as per your instructions with CTRL and backspace but nothing happens. Please advise as I'm getting so frustrated with it. Thankyou
ctrl+Backspace fill background color in selected area
for mask layer you need to have a black color in background color

Voici quelque commande manquante (pour pc remplacer CMD par CTRL) :
Supprimer dans selection : Alt + suppr
Déselection : CMD + D
ajouter calque : CMD + J
Coller un element selectioné : CMD + T
Merge calque enssemble : CMD + E

could you in theory grab a video, like this image, with the boat moving.. then grab a screenshot of it and manipulate it like you did, then use tracking in 3D software to make it all seem real - moving with the camera, and add like a waterfall video instead of the image?
yeah i think its possible but that's allot of hard work...
