I've been exploring retirement abroad for quite some time now, and your channel and perspective is truly a breath of fresh air. The fact that you chose Thailand after having a successful career with significant financial means and moving with your wife instead of "surviving" off of SSI checks after a lifetime of working with nothing to show for it (and single in the hopes of getting a young Thai girlfriend/wife) gives me revitalized ambition for Thailand as a potential destination as these factors more closely align with my situation.
