Hey its been a while (yet again) just finished the video and this might be long so I'll just get to it. I'm gonna start by saying that this wasn't as bad as people were saying. Sure the world is doomed and all but I believe that BAD endings usually have that whenever applicable in them. When Purple Heart was choking Nepgear was the only time when I got slightly nervous (Melissa Fahn and Christine Marie Cabanos really outdid themselves there). I consider myself "battle-hardened" for stuff like this so I'm not one to let my emotions get the best of me. It would gotten even me teary if the Bad ending included scenes that took place a couple of years after where all the CPUS have been torturing everyone all the time nonstop and they had CGs for everyone being tortured like dismemberment, stabbing, and waterboarding (ok maybe that's too graphic), everyone being tortured in different ways and they voice act a bit to show us their pain and eventual mindbreak, the young ones crying and begging their sisters for it to finally stop and the sisters just enjoying it.. with the last scene showing them all finally getting tortured to death by their CPUs (sisters)... Now that might have made even me tear up if they showed and voice acted all that. That would have been a BAD END through and through. And in regards to your story... I advise you to call your lawyer you have a case on your hands! or expect to be called unoriginal. Lol.
Rewatching this remind me of when my older brother used to strangle me. (Yes, that actually happened a few times) I can just imagine myself in Nepgear's position there... .-.
The Bad Ending Is the only Ending In MDNVII Where It does not have a "Thank You for Playing" Scene after the Credits. Also, I am Interested of What will happen next after the Candidates and their Group Ran Away.
I Also got the Bad Ending too, Although I was using Apllonius (S-Sha) Fang (K-Sha), Tiara (S-Sha) and C-Sha as my Party Members. It's Funny to have the game not Thank me for playing after I Got this Ending and then the Credits Finish.
They probably died short after, they could make whole spin off game with them trying to survive, but the Hyperdimension is lost forever, every citizen died and the world is gone and Kurome's actually the zero dimension herself; without Citizen, the candidates will lose their powers too, they die, that's it.
The Candidates have enough power to be Godesses (they were ready to do so in MK2's ending). The real issue would be finding a way to stop the fusion of the dimensions.
I was extremely dissatisfied when I got this ending. I power rushed through the game just to get this point with the requirements for the true ending. Replaying for the ascension ending now.

In this ending, Gamindustri gets destroyed, most if not all of humanity is presumably killed off, and Histoire and the Candidates are presumably hunted down and either killed or corrupted. And once the Hyper Dimension has fallen, what's to say Kurome won't set her sights on other dimensions? _That's_ why I call this the Downfall Ending.

The point where the normal/true and bad ending forks was halfway through Noble's video. the rest was continuing with the story. The other episode which was the next Sunday's stream was DLC events with the characters, then the one after that, which was the final episode was about story again. It's around 45 minutes total till it reached the point where it forks to the normal and the true end. Noble doesn't include grinding and dungeon crawling so his videos are 99% sheer VN events which means it might be like 3 episodes in your video length PLUS adding the gameplay and monologueing you usually include.... which makes a normally 5 mins dialogue last till an entire episode... considering that we have normally 3 episodes in a week... We'll see good end like a month later maybe? XD

Because this is the BAD Ending, and Conquest is at an entirely unique category of "Holy lordy loo this game's gone wayyyyy too fucking insane on this one". I mean, that was videogame PTSD material at its purest. And yeah, go ahead and burn that ending right off your mind. I usually do that with bad endings for games, since they're not canonical anyways 99% of the time (Out of my mind right now, the only game with a "canon" bad ending was... -uh, does this count as a spoiler...?- an entry on this series with a bullet-time NY cop. Excluding games where there's only one ending and it happens to be a downer one, logically). Well, it DOES leave a mark when it's unexpectedly impactful, like the Conquest (no wonder there are so many self-insert "gonna fix the Conquest Ending through plot magic" fanfics), but they're usually there for not much more than the "sloppy rusher's punishment" that you mentioned. Sometimes not even that! Dragon's Dogma has two possibilities of bad endings at two different points of the ending sequence. Choosing them will play out the bad scenario, a very short credits roll... *and an immediate "Game Over" screen that returns you to the moment of choice, so you can go right back to the actual ending.* Probably because said bad ending choices are tied to the game's lore, and they're there to show what might have happened to other people in similar circumstances, so in a sense it's thoughtful of the game to show it and then go right back to the intended route, but still. Bad endings reduced to a short side event that lands you back on the normal ending afterwards... Anyhoo, before we start a whole deep philosophy over the function and administration of bad endings, let's summarize Meganeps VII's one: It's BS. Disregard it entirely, they only put it there either because they wanted to troll those who didn't make any effort towards getting a good ending, or for the sake of it.

Right so........ i was gonna go on a rant on how despite what people say this was the worst ending in the series. Stuff like it's implied the CPU's were more interested in torturing and breaking down the candidates psyche then flat out killing them. Stuff like kurome wanted to "torture" the people of gamindustri. But i'am kinda of sick a tired right know so instead i wanna point something kinda of fucked up.......or some people might find this kinda funny.
So since the game never showed the other candidates, i just kinda assumed that neptune is the only one that went full on iris heart on her little sister. Like she is the only one who "got off" on nepgear's suffering. And kurome aready said that people despair is like "honey" to her or some shit like that.

2. This is what I meant by "the lengths Kurome would go to" . Brainwashing the CPUs to sadistically torture the candidates... I'd say that this is easily _far_ darker than Conquest Ending.
At least in Conquest, Gamindustri was safe, and Nepgear still had Histoire and the makers.
In this ending, Gamindustri gets destroyed, most if not all of humanity is presumably killed off, and Histoire and the Candidates are presumably hunted down and either killed or corrupted. And once the Hyper Dimension has fallen, what's to say Kurome won't set her sights on other dimensions? _That's_ why I call this the Downfall Ending.

Your point about dubs is fair but I recommend checking out those event in japs too eventually because the original voiceacting adds so much to it.
The point where the normal/true and bad ending forks was halfway through Noble's video. the rest was continuing with the story. The other episode which was the next Sunday's stream was DLC events with the characters, then the one after that, which was the final episode was about story again.
It's around 45 minutes total till it reached the point where it forks to the normal and the true end.
Noble doesn't include grinding and dungeon crawling so his videos are 99% sheer VN events which means it might be like 3 episodes in your video length PLUS adding the gameplay and monologueing you usually include.... which makes a normally 5 mins dialogue last till an entire episode... considering that we have normally 3 episodes in a week... We'll see good end like a month later maybe? XD

OK i'm just gona say it,The Iris Heart jokes are not cool. compairing Plutia to this is taking her S&M tendencies up to 20 on a 1 to 10 scale and flanderizing it as her entire character...this is so much worse than even her treatment of Arfore,whom I mite add she never tried to kill.

Yeah, it wasn't as bad as the Conquest Ending. Because this is the BAD Ending, and Conquest is at an entirely unique category of "Holy lordy loo this game's gone wayyyyy too fucking insane on this one". I mean, that was videogame PTSD material at its purest.
And yeah, go ahead and burn that ending right off your mind. I usually do that with bad endings for games, since they're not canonical anyways 99% of the time (Out of my mind right now, the only game with a "canon" bad ending was... -uh, does this count as a spoiler...?- an entry on this series with a bullet-time NY cop. Excluding games where there's only one ending and it happens to be a downer one, logically). Well, it DOES leave a mark when it's unexpectedly impactful, like the Conquest (no wonder there are so many self-insert "gonna fix the Conquest Ending through plot magic" fanfics), but they're usually there for not much more than the "sloppy rusher's punishment" that you mentioned. Sometimes not even that! Dragon's Dogma has two possibilities of bad endings at two different points of the ending sequence. Choosing them will play out the bad scenario, a very short credits roll... *and an immediate "Game Over" screen that returns you to the moment of choice, so you can go right back to the actual ending.* Probably because said bad ending choices are tied to the game's lore, and they're there to show what might have happened to other people in similar circumstances, so in a sense it's thoughtful of the game to show it and then go right back to the intended route, but still. Bad endings reduced to a short side event that lands you back on the normal ending afterwards...
Anyhoo, before we start a whole deep philosophy over the function and administration of bad endings, let's summarize Meganeps VII's one:
