Not saying that its a good thing, but that has always been his game. He has always tried the Hollywood passes even during his best seasons. When this passes dont work, they can look really stupid.
It has always been his game though. That's why his creative stats are among the best in the league. I think the bad side of his game is being elevated a lot because the team in general has been bad.
I do agree though, sometimes he just needs to keep the ball better.

One of the big reasons Utd's midfield is so poor off the ball is Bruno has zero positional discipline. One moment he's in the 6 position, 3 seconds later he is stood waiting for the ball as the furthest man forward. Ok, he made up for it tonight with a goal & assist but against better opposition that's less likely to happen

Garnarcho missed 3 clear chances (should have passed in his 3rd chance). Dalot missed that sitter. We been shaking in front of goals. Maguire did great. Casemiro did great. Bruno is POTM. Hojlund scored. Ethan debut & Bruno almost gave him an assist. Liverpool lost. Newcastle lost. Chelsea were smashed. Utd got +3 pts & +1 gd. Love this matchweek❤🔴

His overall game is not good enough for a team to win trophies. He's too slow, weak on the ball, his passes in the final third are terrible, he cannot find his striker 90% of the time they play together, his decision making in the final third is extremely poor. Can we stop being brainless supporters and just be honest with the state of our team.

The changing point in this game was when Antony was subbed by Amad .All of a sudden we had balance in our attack and we looked so much better. ETH has got to learn Rashford and Antony are not good team players for United and if he can not see that then he has to go .

Amad has the quality to change our possession play by orders of magnitude and I've been frustrated watching ten Hag condemn us to Rashford and Antony, 2 players that aren't fit for anything other than counter football.
What we played 1st half isnt willcox was last season 3-1-6 but we dont have the profile to sustain it atm

He had a spell at some point this season where he couldn't complete a pass for some reason. But even then he has always been the most hardworking player in this squad.

Bruno is the real deal and a proper genuine giant as a football person with ability , character, loyalty , grit , determination , resilience and a caring honest personality who we are so lucky to have at our club.A colossus as a great and fantastic football player and Captain who is a throwback to old times. Modern media forums and agendas have not got a clue as to who is a genuine honest player with grit character and ability from a flash in the pan glory hunter with good skills but no sustainability and resilience. The late great Jimmy Murphy would absolutely have loved him ! Jimmy would have hated and got rid of many of our other underperforming and gutless mercenary players. I honestly believe Bruno will help us to success in the near future and that also one day will become a great great Manager “in the Pep mould “ and hopefully it will be for Man Utd !!

Don't wanna sound like i have got an agenda, but is it a surprise that Rasmus was found by a teammate in the absence of Rashford. Bruno, Garna, Amad and even Antony tried to find him a few times. Hasn't happened in other games.
I mean, I don't know if you saw the same game as me but it looked like we had better wing play with the wingers that were available. Both going forward and back. If not for missed chances, we score a few more. Just an observation though.

Sometime this cross into Hojloud bubble making it a little hard for Hojloud and leaving Maino alone in the midfield. And then this inturn causing the 2 slowest CB (Casemerio and Mcguire to go up in the midfield). This can be dangerous we better not go to the FA cup with this lack of control in the midfield.

Bruno is a great player, he just doesn't always seem like a calm leader because of all the complaining on the field... but he also takes responsibility for his mistakes and he's a great player technical. Great shot from distance today.

It was supposed to be Mount as the other midfield partner but that hasnt worked out so far as hes been injured pretty much all season and when he has played hes been crap and hes not the answer.
