I've been a fan of Shin Lim since he first appeared on Penn and Teller's Fool Us. Always believed he deserved more recognition, and I'm so glad he's finally getting the fame he deserves. He's just brilliant, tbh.

Calling a magic act "scripted" or saying "That person is in on it" is the laziest solution anyone could ever come up with. And i see people say this all.the.time. There is a trick, a method, to every magic trick that doesnt require actors/stooges. Try thinking a little deeper than automatically jumping to "Its scripted! Theyre in on it!"
Once you completey throw out the idea of actors/stooges and camera tricks to explain magic tricks, you begin the first step into *actually* solving the trick correctly.
I remember seeing some tricks on Criss Angel's show that were in fact not tricks at all but completely based on having hired actors... So, I mean, that shit also does exist. But if we are not talking about complete hacks, you are right.
