Game Description:

You can get a unique game over screen in Chapter 9. When following Luca, if he gets pulled over and taken out of his vehicle by the cops it will say he failed to arrive at his destination.
He got stopped bay a car pile up on my last play through.
He got pulled over and arrested when I played it years ago but it was when Vito pulls up to wait for him to go inside so the game just had me stuck there😂
If there’s any way that stops Luca,mission gives you “.a fail”

I figured it out second time playing the game
I didn't even know you could exist at the upstairs window. I've always been fighting myself free back to where you get in
I played again and found out you can go in through the basement!!! On ground level there is the "regular" entry window, when facing it, the roof is to your left, there is a hatch to your right for shoveling charcoal to the boiler room, you can enter there and it'll bring you straight to the alarm!!!!
@erwaldox Same. I don't expect anyone to disable the alarm on the first attempt (if they weren't spoiled).

When you're done with Luca at the end of the mission, if you change your clothes before heading back to the bar to be clean of the sewage, the bar patrons won't be disgusted with the smell and Eddie will say nice threads
That’s not a secret anything, if you arrive with clean clothes it will skip the cutscene where Eddie tells you to change your clothes.

@@MafiaGameVideosI Feel like there was gonna be more of that because I watched your video on the cut buying house feature and I think the dialogue of him saying you stink was intended for if you didn’t change your clothes.
@@MafiaGameVideos This is the only “secret” cutscene where when the cutscene ends, Vito (or actually we as players) receive $3000. I remember I did tell my brother, when he played Mafia 2 on PS3 a decade ago, to see Eddie first, not because of the funny cutscene, but also to receive money and upgrade Luca’s car.
All NPCs reacts to Vito until he changes clothes, funny comments by shop keepers, cops etc.
Vito’s little “Hey Henry” is fucking hilarious when he and Leo are found hiding in the wardrobe.

There’s another secret cutscene in Joes Adventures. You can either kill the guards protecting the witness or you can sneak past them by climbing on the boxes and passing via the scaffolding. If you successfully get past the guards without alerting them, it’ll trigger a small cutscene of the witness chilling by the fire place and Joe surprising the shit out of them. The attention to detail in 2 was great.

6:20 Fun fact, the PS3 version has a different cutscene here, featuring tommy guns. In general, it'd be very cool if someone would compare both versions, it's some good content!
In chapter 7 you can visit other friends and have interesting dialogs with them.

Yeah I remember seeing Giuseppe and Harry during Chapter 7 and Vito talks with them for a bit, it took several playthroughs before I discovered the cutscene with Francesca's Husband Eric though Lol
Haha wow yeah, I just found a video on that. You can visit Guiseppe, Derek (Steve) and Harry for unique dialogue. Been playing the game since release and I've never tried that. I did know about the secret Eric cutscene though.

What I would give for a proper Mafia 2 remake with all the cut content added to the game. Buying a gun-license from Giuseppe to the little sidequests that you were able to accept initially.

How much cut content is there? Cause after recently revisiting the game after nearly a decade with a more competent and attentive guise, I could easily see the flaws in narrative, dialogue, gameplay etc. The story also felt rushed towards the end; As if It could have benefited from a handful more chapters...
@@S1lverArr0w There were supposed to be multiple endings for example. Things as a purchaseable weapon license, side quests, etc. Look for the gameplay footage they showed at E3 or Gamescom back then, cant remember which, but they showed real gameplay of it back then.

When escaping with Leo you can also escape through kitchen downstairs.
Now I know how to get the achievement to get away from Leo's house without Henry knowing
You can also get out through the kitchen downstairs, just have to be patient. Wait for Henry to go upstairs and into the rooms ( usually if he goes to the living room it's the best, cause then he goes to the bathroom, so you have time) , then observe a guy who's patrolling around the stairs and can easily get around him, and boom it's done. I know because I failed it like 10 times, was about to just abandon the trophy 😂😂

You missed the two different scenes where if don’t change your clothes after getting the sewage dumped on you opposed to if you do change your clothes

I didn’t know you could escape out the window in chapter 3 only the window downstairs in the bathroom I thought lol I’ve beat this game over 80 times too fail lol
You can also use the front door to escape where the cop cars are!

In chapter 11 there is also 2 non cutscenes where you are caught by either Henry or one of the other people

In chapter 7, you can find more secret cutscenes if you visit Giuseppe, Harry Marsden, and Derek before going to see Joe.
Five alternative cutscenes were very helpful. Almost grinded out 55K as another video instructed. Under the bed & the closet scene were too much😂😂
When you change your clothes after you leave slaughterhouse, there is another cutscene

mafia 2 is a very detailed game you can play a mission so many different ways i wish they did the same thing with mafia 3
bruh when i was playing chapter 3, i came to the basement by an accident, i looked around and asked myself "why would there be a basement if nothings here?" well, i guess i know why now.
Kinda pissed me off that he goes on about "no shooting" when nobody fired a single shot.
