- Ola (Aleksandra Taistra) is a Sardinia expert, having ticked off impressive lines including five 8b multipitches on the island already. After being inspired by my instagram adventures, Ola spontaneously invited me to come try a new project with her! Of course, having never met, our main adventure unexpectedly becomes forming a lifelong friendship (dawww so cute).

What a great video! Loved that two people with such different personalities found the way to comunicate with each other so well. Also seeing a pro climber dealing with fear makes me feel much more confident in my own climbing journey!
🙏🏽🙏🏽 yes! Fear is a very real thing I deal with, glad I can normalize it a bit. It gets better as I keep going but I feel like I’m especially fearful when it comes to climbing into the unknown

Yes! So happy to see Ola in a video. I met her randomly at a crag in Oman and she later took me multipitching on Pedra Longa in Sardinia. As well as a top climber she is an epic coach. Great video.

I'm mostly an indoor climber but after watching move of your outdoor climbing videos you make me want to give outdoor a go which is something I've been nervous about. It's great seeing you grow in this video though. It's very inspiring! Also your editing is on point.

I need to get learning ropes & outdoor - I’m only on indoor bouldering at the moment, but really want to get at least some basic outdoor in this year - you guys make it look so sick, but even some beginner routes I’ve seen look amazing.
Getting outside is such a magical experience!!! And it's for all levels too, I very much recommend 🥰 Sardinia was breathtaking in every direction, we were so lucky to climb here

Is there any mental tricks you used to over come fear or self doubt when you climb? Also I saw Ola cupping, what are some self care you do as a climber?

I had a lot of fear and doubt in this one, and in the end I had to slightly ignore the panic that was trying to take over, and fill myself with affirmations that regardless of what would happen, I would be okay. I did have to stop after I fell though, because I felt that would’ve pushed it too much. Ola cupped me 😂 I usually just use a muscle gun thingy if I feel tight (or force a friend to massage me!). A good deep tissue massage is also a great reset if I can swing it

Would have loved to see a view away from the wall while yall were climbing….to see how high you were on the wall.. hard to tell where you were and what angle you were climbing from just that over climb view but overall its definitely a great little snippet into your climbing adventure in sardinia.. some really beautiful shots ..and great to hear and learn about the dynamic between you two. Looks like a really spectacular place! Wanted this little film to keep going!

Hi!! I wish haha, I only had two weeks in Sardinia due to visa issues, so we only got a few days to try the climbing around the island (with weather and such). If I go back… definitely! But for now, this is all we have haha. Glad you want to see more and enjoyed the video! Love the Pyrenees so much, I hope to find myself back there soon

Oh 🙈 that’s only cause I named it that haha. It’s a phrase for when you try to go without falling (redpointing) and maybe a little (or a lot) unprepared for it haha. It’s like, go for the send anyways, give it everything you have even though it’s unlikely AF
