The better team won today. Minions had the last hit, but minions didn't take down the 2 nexus turrets before that so they could hit the nexus, or win the 2 previous games. Luck is, and always has been, a part of any sport, but it's not enough to carry you from start to finish. It helps you out in moments, even for champions, but you have to be good enough to carry the load to the edge, and Fly did that. Congrats 👏👏
That doesn't change the fact that FLY did not deserve to win that game. They THREW the game by making mistakes. TL punished and capitalized. That game was not deserved by FLY. They DID get bailed out by luck. That's just a fact. They can feel good about the other games they won, but I know they aren't going to look back on this and feel like they deserved the championship. Especially when they realize that TL wasn't playing as good as they normally do, and the series was still competitive. Feels like a hollow win to me.

Not the ending I expected. Prior to this, I had hope (though I do not want it) in an lcs team since 2016 TSM, but unlike TSM, it was because of TL's growth in international play. That said, its probably gone again. Maybe FLY is just that good, but I do not trust that team after the last time they were good. Regardless, I am happy to be back to zero expectations once again. I do have to wonder what the game 5 woulda looked like if that did not happen.
