    How do you dip without a large pool and dividers like you have? I've seen some people do it in plastic bins... what do you suggest for DIY dippers that have no pool and dividers like yours?! Thanks in advance!!!

    Hey, while dipping pieces with contours we observe pinholes at few places? Would it be due to under activation?

    I'm about to dip these same exact parts, was it hard to get the shifter bezel and the radio bezel carbon weave angle going the same direction? If it possible to hot glue a bracket on the back of the parts and dip them together using the same technique?

    hey Bryan, How do i make the black carbon fiber because i bought the black film and when i dipped it you can hardly see the carbon fiber?is there a paint you recommend to you? Also, whats a good time to wait before rinsing the part cause every time i rinse it seem like the film is getting lighter. Thank you

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  4 роки тому

      What paint base did you use on the film when you dipped it?
      For the paint, we recommend this color for the black and clear carbon fiber - www.liquidconcepts.com/shop/product-detail/charcoal-metallic
      After you dip the part, you can rinse immediately or even a few hours after dipping. The film may get a tad lighter but normally when the clear coat is applied, you will get the color and depth of the pattern to come back.

    What's the. Cause of when I dip it looks good but when I got to rinse it little pin holes appear and or bigger chips of the film wash away? Under activating or overactivating?

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  5 років тому

      Normally its under activated but sometimes it may be from the paint not being compatible with the dip or not ready for the dip.

      @@LiquidConceptsUSA thankyou in your experience im unclear about paint compatibility? Like dupli color or rustoleum and or anything or is there a specific paint I should be using to eliminate this risk? Also I am using the LC activator but aerosol firm because I dont know how big of compressor I can get away with

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA

      I am not saying you cant use spray paint but we have seen quite a bit of customers have very inconsistent results from it. I would recommend using an automotive base coat/clear coat or even some of the paints that we have on our website to help you get better consistency with your process.

    Thanks for these vids, you make this look easy! I’ve been experimenting with this stuff and I love it. I’ve had good success But I tried a dip a few days ago and after spraying the activator using all the same time parameters when I went to dip the film was still just film. So I sprayed again and still just stayed film. Did I have the film upside down or what?

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  5 років тому +1

      It could be that you had the film upside down on the water but it could also be that you may have water in your air lines. Have you checked your lines lately?

    • @Branhawk
      @Branhawk 5 років тому +1

      Liquid Concepts, LLC thanks for the reply, I’m just doing small stuff currently with an aerosol can not a paint sprayer.

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  5 років тому +1

      I would definitely check out making sure that you are activating the film correctly with the aerosol can as you can sometimes get streaks that can cause part of the print to stick and not others. Also make sure the sticky side of the film is DOWN on the water. 100% every time.

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  4 роки тому

      You can paint it red and use a black and clear carbon or if you want it red candy you can lay down a silver metallic base, dip it in carbon, and then apply a red candy over the top! This is our go to method that our customers love the most.
