I wasn't aware that the SBC existed either, but I did the work and spent the time to search. Once I finally found the SBC, I was able to get the information I needed to figure out the Payroll Protection Program and other options that were available to me. All said I must have put in 60 to 80 hours just trying to figure all this stuff out the first month after the forced shutdowns that put us out of work. I think it's most important to encourage people to let them know that they can figure these things out and get access to these programs if they put in the time.

Homes that were worth 6k to 15k during the Great Recession were scooped up by the investor class and transformed into 300k to 500k+. So, if you were a responsible homeowner like me, you bought a (recession proof) home you could easily afford, but then these inflated homes come on the market, and property taxes explode. The main issue with this situation is that unlike a large corporation or bank, I have to earn my income and not create out of thin air (fractional banking, fiat currencies, too big to fail bailouts). In fact, in business school I we had a real world project for a nearby city, but the city electronic records was garbage, so initially I used the city of Atlanta records to figure out what right looks like. What I found was funds that were supposed to be used to fix up foreclosed homes before they drive property values down were captured by developers (and sometimes consultants who construct nothing), who did work on the properties but rarely completed the work in the three years of the Obama era program. That said, what ever they put in, the crack heads smoked out. I went to my dean about what I found, but he told me that it was legal because they had disclosed what they had done. These opportunities Ms. King speaks of does the exact opposite for the local community and she states that fact herself "I didn't learn about that in school". She didn't go to the right type of business school to learn about the those programs, and ditto for the rest of those folks in that community. So how on earth would this local community ever take advantage of this opportunity before a Saudi bank does?

I wasn't aware that the SBC existed either, but I did the work and spent the time to search. Once I finally found the SBC, I was able to get the information I needed to figure out the Payroll Protection Program and other options that were available to me. All said I must have put in 60 to 80 hours just trying to figure all this stuff out the first month after the forced shutdowns that put us out of work. I think it's most important to encourage people to let them know that they can figure these things out and get access to these programs if they put in the time.

Ms. King may not live in Brooklyn or any other those hosts spoke of, but she does live Atlanta and we have numerous neighborhoods that have been drastically gentrified. So, if you were a responsible homeowner like me, you bought a (recession proof) home you could easily afford, but then these inflated homes come on the market, and property taxes explode. The main issue with this situation is that unlike a large corporation or bank, I have to earn my income and not create out of thin air (fractional banking, fiat currencies, too big to fail bailouts). In fact, in business school I we had a real world project for a nearby city, but the city electronic records was garbage, so initially I used the city of Atlanta records to figure out what right looks like. What I found was funds that were supposed to be used to fix up foreclosed homes before they drive property values down were captured by developers (and sometimes consultants who construct nothing), who did work on the properties but rarely completed the work in the three years of the Obama era program. That said, what ever they put in, the crack heads smoked out. I went to my dean about what I found, but he told me that it was legal because they had disclosed what they had done. These opportunities Ms. King speaks of does the exact opposite for the local community and she states that fact herself "I didn't learn about that in school". She didn't go to the right type of business school to learn about the those programs, and ditto for the rest of those folks in that community. So how on earth would this local community ever take advantage of this opportunity before a Saudi bank does?
I strongly disagree with the entire breakfast club. Her points are undeniably valid. They are just attacking her because she said she supports Trump. I do not support Trump, but I won’t support a lie either. Facts are facts
