Another realistic day of backroad travel. This is how my ADV trips have been as well. Thanks for all your efforts.
@9:48 you nailed it! Stopped watching after Day 2 because it was the same/same. Jumped into this and got the...same. Your garage videos are great. I'll have to unsubscribe if next year is like this. Show snow, show more camping, show more maintenance on your trip, show public interaction. Anything man...channel ain't gonna grow if you take take 4 months off. Keeping it honest. You're welcome.
In serious dusty conditions it is recommended to ride far far apart to avoid the dust. Not unusual for a group to be half a click apart or more.
Yes it does help and we do that a bit for sure. On this section we were being followed by some trucks so that seems to tighten us up ;)
Cool video thanks. Days are getting longer closest thing I get to a ride for now
Good call there. We had a very similar situation this last summer. The trail went in very far and none of us could see if it connected to a run at the end. So instead, we rode the highway and came at it from the back end with full tanks. Once we got to the connection point, we saw that there would have been no way to link up the entire trail. We would've tanked out in the woods for sure.
Loving this adventure brother. Cheers from PEI.
Nice save! We had a similar issue a couple years back where the trail disappeared. We were fortunate to be at half tank so we were able to make the return. Cheers!
I may have to find my way north this summer cheers to you guys thanks again from upstate New York
The dust kind of reminds me of the Baja dust in "Into the dust 4". About 29:30 in the trophy trucks and dust start.
I don't think I've ever used the word "Dust" three times in the same sentence before.
Its a good documentary flick, free on UA-cam. But he also has to worry about getting rear ended by the high speed vehicles.
I will check that out!
I've seen that one and you're right. Brutal dust!
Great video, again. Now I am wondering if what Dex thought was a garden gnome baby black bear in Day 4 PT 1 August 2021 ADVenture bike trip | KLR 650 | CRF 250L | Triumph 900 Rally Pro at 02:51 was actually a live bear cub?
Haha, no. That was a lawn ornament for sure but this one was a runner ;)
Great video again Mason. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for breathing all the dust at the back so that you could bring another movie to us !
You're very welcome Stew! Cheers :)
Sandy tracks are the worst. I keep trying to make it through some trails in the Ganaraska Forest, and they are all like that. Sandy as hell, loose, just a mess. I ride a Super Ten, and damn it's hard to make it through the sand. If you guys are looking for some practice, those trails are it. I made it about 3km the last time I tried, before I buried the rear wheel to the axle on a hill, with steep banks on either side. Had to walk it down backwards to turn around. That was enough for the year; I don't need to relive walking a near 600lbs motorcycle down a sandy hill backwards any time soon.
Oh, trust me, I know the feeling haha. Good times and great training ;) Cheers!
Yes, good call on the ‘turnaround’. like you guys were saying, you can’t even begin to slow down to do anything about it. Love the lumber wagon look !! Haha. Thanks for sharing guys ! 👍🏽
It’s sometimes hard to do because as adventure riders, part of the draw to this type of riding is the curiosity of the unknown. We always want to know where these trails go, what kind of awesome scenery are we missing? But in the end it was the obvious decision.
The draw is there, isn’t it ? For sure. Think is that are even viewing this all have that same feeling as you guys who are there. Not 100% but get that near same feeling ‘What’s around this bend ??’ Good stuff ! 👍🏽👍🏽
@@coachp7486 thats what it’s all about ! That’s the fun that’s sometimes hard to turn down
Absolutely! Cheers Coach :)
Good stuff as always 👍
Much appreciated. Cheers Steve!
That was fun Mason
Cheers Ian :)
Watching this makes me wish for warmer days. Went riding today in sub freezing temperatures….I definitely want heated grips now
Dust is no fun!
It might keep the flies away though. lol
what seat you rocking ? looks like a custom seat for some reason i guess i never noticed before. edit autospell strikes again lol
Cool video..me n my gf made it a loop on a weekend same year as u guys but earlier...kept going for little long rapid n out kapuskasing...one hell of a ride it was 🤟
You guys came up the west side. The east side is actually much better scenery. We ride both sides in the winter. Actually just did the ride up to the Abatibi Canyon March 3rd. From Cochrane. Great videos! 👍🏼
"Mine had a mini coughing fit!" Funniest thing I've heard all year :) Great video, cheers Mason!
Haha, Cheers Bryan 😆
How do you like the nomax tank bag?
Love it. Perfect for all my camera gear and charging ports :)
Ok 20:40 now it’s not a cutout this time.
No! Haha. Not this time :)
@@masonsadv you should put together a animal encounter video. Praying for you all. Stay safe and healthy.
