- As the war drags on, Ukraine's recovery requires significant private sector investment. The urgent necessity for rebuilding infrastructure and supporting key sectors like energy, transport, and housing drive this crucial need. Coordinated reforms and effective use of donor financing are essential to attract private capital. Mobilizing private investments is of a vital importance for the reconstruction of the war-torn country. DW Business’ Janelle Dumalaon speaks to Alfonso Garcia Mora, Vice President at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), ahead of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin.

While Ukrainian men are buried, some have lost their limbs. Companies are looking to make profits
Name of the profile shows your mentality well!
The vultures are circling.
Paper bear bully basically everyone around it.
No private sector will invest unless there is ceasfire
To invest is a wager that Ukraine will "win"
we are willing to buy it for 2 cents on the dollar - Ukraine must be forced to sell below 10 cents on the dollar
"Democracy has become a business plan, with a bottom line for every human activity, every dream, every decency, every hope. The main parliamentary parties are now devoted to the same economic policies - socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor - and the same foreign policy of servility to endless war. This is not democracy. It is to politics what McDonald's is to food." -John Pilger

Why are they talking about reconstruction while Ukraine is losing? Russia will pay for the reconstruction.
Yeah private sector investment means profit is theirs, loss is ours... No thank you, if private companies want to go to Ukraine then do it from their money! We are tired of paying taxmoney to the richest people in the world to be even richer and financing corporate welfare programs!
50 countries and their puppet master 🇺🇸 USA proxy Ukraine against 🇷🇺Russia and they lost😂😂😂
Mobilizing the private economy is the key for any country's recovery that needs "recovering." 👍
Where are all able bodied workforce in Ukraine?😂😂😂.BS🎉🎉🎉
The cognitive dissonance is strong in this one. His inability to focus on provable facts is also apparent. It is check mate and it is Russia's favorite game. The west only has one option left, risk a nuclear war. Great strategic planning by the best minds in the west. smh
