Give Greg his flowers. All of us have been begging him to take advantage of the portal & here we are. Holy shit, we finally turned the corner with as a program!!!
With the addition of a dual threat RB and a deep threat WR, and given the maturation of the WR room in general, AK will have the tools to really open it up. Rutgers could actually become an offensive juggernaut. We could trade punches with the big boys. Plug a few holes on D, find a new LT, and we're pretty much good to go.
Hope this young man is here to restore our punt/kick return game. We are at the point where my whole section at SHI stadium is groaning at all the kneel downs. Greg's philosophy went from landing and utilizing awesome speed return guys like Aron Cruickshank and Janarion Grant to momentum killing fair catches on 97% of the balls. I really hope it was a case of, we don't have the depth and we don't have the speed and we didn't have the time to dedicate to this part of the game; with all the other issues the team was working through. I hope Greg finds his Phil Parker(Iowa DC) It is clear he has it with Kirk as our OC, meaning you have someone with head coaching ability but without HC aspirations. The search should be for a coach like Dave Clawson's, that is the type of coach that has plenty of gas in the tank, that wants to coach, but doesn't want to be bothered with the NIL bs. A coach like that would value the Schiano umbrella. He would stay with the program for years and add the stability that Rutgers football program needs in order to develop players efficiently.
Am I like the only one who liked the battle scars nike jerseys rutgers had? I feel like they should bring back that design and add in the checkered print
Been waiting for this pod all day 😫😅

Offense looking good next year PROVIDED they find a good left tackle.
Doesn't matter how many weapons Athan has if he's on the ground or worse.
I misread this headline as WR/DT Sheffield (not familiar with the kid) and was fascinated to see how a big DT was also playing WR
Amazing work as usual guys!!
All the B10 has to do is make a phone call, why would they want any of their schools not fitted correctly.
