John, very sorry to hear about your vehicle! Hope your wife is continuing to heal. That fog in the valley was beautiful. And, I love the look of that house too! Beautiful scenery! Yes, we learn pretty quickly to stay off the painted lines, if they’re wet. Looked like a chilly ride, but great to see you back out there! 👏
Bill....... I was thinking of your and your 20 degree temps - it was not as bad as I made it seem. It will get colder here but no where near like it does for you - but then, I don't have that amazing back yard either. The car is just that - a car. It is an inconvenience is all. And, I was just thinking that this is the first time in an extremely long time - years, that I have not seen her in constant pain. That was an awful helpless feeling. She is doing amazing and I am hoping she can go on my little weekend cycle trips with me soon too. Oh... I do have boots and windproof cycle clothing for the days when it dips into the low 40s....... 🤗💖🙏
@@JonnyPink65 Great news about your wife!! I have heated gloves but still use disposable hand warmers to keep hands warm. Yeah, I have shoe covers and wear 18 layers to stay warm😂🥶. I bet a roof rack would look great on a Porsche 911, just saying. 😎😎
@@Eli4Bill a Seasucker rack would work perfectly! Do you know the difference between a porcupine and a Porsche? LOL I wanted one for about 5 minutes but my ego is not that big - the Kia Soul works perfectly for me....... and the bike fits inside....... where its warm.
@@Eli4Bill The one I just bought my wife that I am driving now while my car is fixed, is a 2021 and the 4th we have had. This new one is the top of the line GT with ALL the bells and whistles and is so amazing. I LOVE new tech!!

Adrian!! it is just a car and I got it back a week later. It is at the autobody shop and they are having problems getting parts in LOL. She had back surgery and has no leg pain for the first time in years. It was uncomfortable and a helpless feeling so it is good thing. Better each day and I am really hoping she will be able to go on my little weekend trips with me at some point - maybe even hold my B roll camera!!!!!! It felt so good just to be out there - ALWAYS an amazing feeling. Thank you Adrian for joining me - there is so much more to be seen from a bike and being able to stop anywhere. Today, I can. 🤗💖🙏

Peter!! It is just a car and an inconvenience but just one of many I have had and will have. My wife is doing great and walking without pain for the first time in many years - it was constant and I felt helpless. I used to ride ALL the time but that changed a bit when I crashed last year. It did not scare me away, but I then let myself enjoy other things as well. I dont eat to be lean anymore and dont train constantly, and I dont feel guilty not riding when I go out to shoot. I am sure when the spring rolls around, I will train more again for evening or just traveling to ride somewhere (and I take my cameras)..... the roller coast of life. 🤗💖🙏
Bahahahahah - it didn't used to be. LOL. But now...... let me know when you want to ride to go get coffee..... or just meet at Starbucks with out bikes in the car and call it done. 😂😂

RJ L!! No worries - all part of the roller coaster of life. Its just a car, and the surgery has made a difference in her walking - no more leg pain!!! It just takes time taking care of someone else while they heal - she did the same for me when I broke my hips!! Happy to be able to do it. 🤗💖
