Hi. I just want to say thank you! I am 59, disabled and low income. Through people like you I get to experience so many things I've always wanted to do. I've only seen the ocean 3 times and I've never been able to swim or dive in it. I wish I could beach comb and find shells and treasures. So again, thank you, stay safe and be blessed!

There is alot of youtubers who live this life and some don't deserve it. But, Jake definitely deserves the life he lives, he does so much good for the earth I'm happy he gets to go out in these adventures

Wow, you took me back to my childhood. 16 through 21 the Bahama's was my summer home. I crewed on a charter boot of scuba divers. My job was to navigate the boat while diver's were down and make fruit salads. We hired natives to tour and cook, in exchange for different products we took over from Florida. I don't remember his name, but he made the best! Conk Salad I ever ate. I lived on that stuff, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I did get a allergy to lobster, but didn't stop me from eatthe tails. Thanks for sharing your adventures. The Bahamas Rocks in my world. That was 30 years ago

jake! you should come to the new river in southwest virginia. its the only river in the united states that flows the opposite direction. a lot of people go on kayaks through it and tubing and stuff. i think it would be awesome to see what you can find!!

Hi there. While I was watching your video I had an idea that may make retrieving the items your metal detector locates easier. Why don't you get one of those metal kitty litter scoops? This way the sand would go through the scoop leaving the larger, hopefully valuable, items behind in the bowl of the scoop. Just a thought. Thank you for sharing all of your adventures my boys and I love watching your videos!
Thanks for the tip! I bought a few in the past, but it just depends what terrain I'm hunting in whether its a good idea to use it or not. This cave would've been perfect, but other places you may not need it

I don’t think you will see this but I’m going on my first ocean dive this weekend and your videos are what inspired me to start scuba diving I’ll update my comment after the trip to Catalina islands and let you know how my first diving experience went (outside of a pool)

Devin Miller aye I came back a few days after the post but forgot the update it was fun it was a group trip so my buddy was my best friend “who is by far the better diver” our instructors told him he should go for advanced diving it was really cool when I get an adaptor I’ll share some of the footage we got on the trip to Catalina was really dope

Sooooo funny. I don't know if you'll see this, but I think that mens wedding band you found might be mine. In 2003 I got married and we went there for our honeymoon. While snorkeling it slid right off my finger. It was a black titanium men's band I think. Dark silver or black I don't know. It's all good. She cheated on me and we got divorced in 2012. put your diamond tester on 4, and if it beeps like crazy it means it hits the metal, it is supposed to be 3 medium quick beeps and go to red (if you have it on 4) then it's a diamond :D

Diamonds that size may have a a way to be identified. Take it to your local jeweler and see if they can figure out where it was sold. You can then probably track down the owner.

Re: diamond tester. The fast beeping trill is what it sounds like when you hit the metal of the ring. A slow distinct BEEP BEEP BEEP is what a diamond sounds like on the tester. The stone must also be at room temperature as cold stones may give false positive signals.
