Hi sourra sas , welcome to my channel. No this case does not take 420 liquid ARO at the front, the lenght is way shorter than the 420 liquid aio radiator, though you can mount 3 x 140mm.
Hi Kleo, Great review 👍 Montech are releasing some excellent bits of kit at reasonable price levels. To include all these fans and a controller at this price level is great value. Looks like the airflow across the MB would be very good with the 3 x 140mm fans up front. If your on a modest budget Montech kit is definitely worth a look at.

This case is very similar to the SQ Tower 01M from memory PC so this in depth review is really useful for other cases too ! came here from reddit reg fan control, unfortunately there is no PWM control in the SQ Tower 01M hub to control the case fans
Hi Chat botté, welcome to my channel. Thank you for your feedback. In general if the case fans are of 4pin pwm instead of 3pin. you should be able to use PWM to control the fans, else for 3pin, you will need to use DC Mode to control the RPM.

Hi bigheffe, welcome to my channels. If you watch at 10:57 of this content. If it’s of a 360 LF2, you will be able to fit at the top with the Taichi Lite motherboard. There is enough space. You only worry if it’s or a 280 LF2. Hope this helps.
For the argb controller, is there anyway to control the fan speed without pwm connector on motherboard. I have a older asus P5K deluxe mobo. It has 4 pin cpu fan and (4) 3 pin cha fan headers. Is there anyway to make it work with an adapter mabey?
Hi MegaBorn2 welcome to my channel. May I ask what’s the exact model of your motherboard? Let me see what I can find out on its manual is bios setup. Thank you.
Hi Bruno Russo, welcome to my channel. Every PSU comes with a Sata cable, using one end of the Sata cable, connect it to your PSU and at the other end, plug it to the controller sata connector. Do not plug the controller sata connector directly to the PSU (though this is not possible but just a friendly reminder)
@@KleoYan thank you so much for replying! My PSU has a a sata cable that divides into three 4-pin. Do I need an adapter or am I being dumb? I have a picture if I can show you somehow. Thank you so much for replying and for trying to help!
Hi Tuubi Kuusela, welcome to my channel. You can mount the 280 but advisable that your fans are at the front and not inside the case with the radiator.
I'm going to put 3 artic 140 PST ARGB on the front of the case by connecting the ARGB cables to the hub controller on the case and the RPM to a fan connector on the motherboard. Until then I have it clear. If I put the 3 fans that come with the case at the back and on top and connect them to the hub controller and from there to an ARGB connector on my motherboard, those HP fans will be compatible with mystic light msi. I have looked on the official Montech website and it doesn't say anything about it. I have also looked at the mystic light msi compatible devices and those default fans do not appear. In conclusion, the ARGB light on those front fans will be able to work via software or in other words, how can I know what software is compatible with those HP 140 fans that come in the box? The artic 140 do appear compatible on the official msi website. Thank you and your work is excellent.
Hi Isidro Juárez, welcome to my channel and thank you for sharing your thoughts 👍 Do let us know how’s your system temperature once you have completed your build. I wish you all the best too 😉
thanks for the very in depth review, thoughts for the future (unless I missed it) to enumerate what cable connections come with the computer. It seems like it includes 2 front panel usb cables 1 to power the 2 type A ports and 1 to power the type C port (a "type-e" connector) but I couldn't validate that from Montech's documentation though I think its true from the video. Things that I'd have also been interested in knowing (assuming I'm right re the type-c connector). What can it support (Gen 3.2 2x2?, USB-PD? If so, up to what?. It have also been interesting (though not so much for me), if not only addressed AIO at the top, but also AIO at the front. (i.e. while they only claim support of 360, since they have 3*140 fans there, I'm sure many people are curious if it can fit a 420 AIO (or which one can and cannot fit). You sort of touched upon this topic in terms of fitting a GPU in if install things on the inside, but only in terms of GPU)
Hi shayajp, welcome to my channel. the type c connector is able to support Gen 3.2 2x2 with transfer rate of 20Gbps. As to be a USB-PD, it's able to slow charge a smart phone and not a laptop. Now newer boards which has either additional 6pin or 8pin PCIE socket besides the Type-C header, it allow fast charging but there is a limit from 27w to 35w, it will not charge laptops or macbook. In another words, the front type-c socket from the case, it greatly depends on what power wattage is supplied. as for 420 Liquid AIO to be mounted at the font. It's not possible, alot will think that it will fit as it's capable of 3 x 140mm fans but the radiator of a 420 liquid AIO does not have the exact measurement of 420mm, infact it will exceed, example the Arctic Liquid Freezer II / III, the radiator lenght is at 458mm and some other 420 liqiud aio might be of 455mm or even 460.
@@KleoYan i think a post i wrote disappeared (and hence i guess why couldnt edit). Linked to asus manual for their 870 mobo showing 30w usb-pd on the type c header.

Hi Miguel Enrico, welcome to my channel, if you just wanted to use the USB 3.0 Port at the front, you can just plug the case USB 3.0 cable to your motherboard, it's the blue cable which is shown at timestamp 19:03, the plug that is blue right below the headphone jet. no adaptors needed.

Hi Сергей Ковалёв, welcome to my channel. It’s good to ask questions when unsure. We all learn 😉 and nope you will not damage anything as the controller has a current regulator to draw 12volt on fan pwm and 5Volts ok fan ARGB. When you plug controller to motherboard, it will determine by itself. Don’t have to worry when you plug the 12v Sata cable from the controller to the PSU. The controller as said will determine how much current is needed.

Hi Ahmed Essam, If your motherboard does not block the LF2 280 at the top. Try option 1 which is best configuration, if not try option 2. Option 1 3 x fan - Front intake Arctic Liquid Freezer II - Top exhaust 1 x rear fan - Exhaust 1 x bottom fans, intake. (place the fans near the front as the back portion is useless as the PSU is directly below the fan) Option 2 1) Arctic LF2 280 at the front with hose at the bottom. (If hose not able to do bottom, then you got to do at the top) 2) 1 x bottom fans - Intake 3) 3 x top fans - Exhaust 4) 1 x rear fan - Exhaust If you place GPU horizontally, the heat will directly exhaust and hitting your motherboard area. So to compromise, since your liquid AIO is at the front, which move warm air in from the front, have your GPU vertically mounted.
Hi Luffy's Toyzania, welcome to my channel. Either case is good but I will choose the King95 Pro if budget is not a concern. Both cases are easy to build with but King95 Pro has more features and it's aesthetically good looking.

Hello, how durable is the case?(like it's flimsy) I'm thinking of either this or the H5 flow. Also I saw some people reporting the power button blinking at night when the computer is off and the usb button doesn't work, does it happens to you?
Hello Star Seeker, welcome to my channel. The power button blink is due to the hdd activity, when it’s off, it should not blink. You can don’t plug the HDD LED to your motherboard and that will stop the blink as for USB, I don’t have that issue either. It could be motherboard bios is not up to date. Check your motherboard bios page to see if there are any issues on USB which has a fix. If not, you will be fine. As for durability. I have already illustrated that there are no cutting of corners. This case is build sturdy.

Hi Artos Bear, welcome to my channel. Thank you for your valuable feedback, I am sorry to hear that. maybe tell us more of what you meant by a classic mistake with the top spacing for coolers. Thank you!
@@KleoYan oh lol my bad. It's just a pretty common thing I've run into with cases where they don't account for radiator thickness running into the motherboard up top. 38mm rads+fans like Arctic's there ends up not being enough width sometimes, or not enough height, like in this one. Another way it happens is with higher end motherboards having big tall covers on the IO panel like the Asus Crosshair VIII Dark Hero for instance. The cover sticks up pretty far vertically from the top of the motherboard, and a lot of cases that are even "full" towers still get released without enough vertical space above the motherboard for installing a big radiator despite "supporting" a 360 or 420 or something. Pleased with the case in general and your videos are really really great...extremely helpful as picking out a case is just fraught with little problems like this that can bork you and you usually can't get your hands on a case just to trial it. very happy with the quality overall and the cable management is great.

@KleoYan hey thx for your answer ! I initially posted only for information if anyone searches about the SQ tower case lol
I have sent a question to the case manufacturer, I'll update you or ping you in reddit !
@@MrHeimdalls hi and you are most welcome. Thanks for the info. 👍 will wait for your updates too. Though I do not have the SQ tower 01M. It looks interesting though. Very spacious case 😉
I'm planning to build with this case using ASRock Z790 Taichi Lite LGA 1700 MB, and ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 A-RGB. Has anyone tried this combo? The MB VRM looks to be off-set from the board edge (more than your example). Hoping the Arctic cooler will fit.....
Thank you.
Actually useful review.

Hi there! How do you connect the 15 pin sata cable of the controller to the PSU? Thank you very much!

How about 280 AIO mounted to the front? Or maybe 420?
Hi Tuubi Kuusela, welcome to my channel. You can mount the 280 but advisable that your fans are at the front and not inside the case with the radiator.
@@KleoYan Any chance 420?
@@tuubikuusela7847 hi welcome to my channel. Nope, this case is not catered for a 420 liquid aio.

I was going to upgrade my air cooler to an Artic LF ii 280 until I watched this video and realized the VRM from my Gigabyte z790 Aero G would cause an issue.

Hi Josh Guacamolean, welcome to my channel. Yes it is indeed a good case for this price point. So sorry to hear that you like this case but it's not possible to mount the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 at the top

// Very good and detailed vid tho, watched it with pleasure, keep it up!

I bougth this case and Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 and asus rog 3090, what is the best way to install the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 ?
Hi Ahmed Essam, If your motherboard does not block the LF2 280 at the top. Try option 1 which is best configuration, if not try option 2.
Option 1
3 x fan - Front intake
Arctic Liquid Freezer II - Top exhaust
1 x rear fan - Exhaust
1 x bottom fans, intake. (place the fans near the front as the back portion is useless as the PSU is directly below the fan)
Option 2
1) Arctic LF2 280 at the front with hose at the bottom. (If hose not able to do bottom, then you got to do at the top)
2) 1 x bottom fans - Intake
3) 3 x top fans - Exhaust
4) 1 x rear fan - Exhaust
If you place GPU horizontally, the heat will directly exhaust and hitting your motherboard area. So to compromise, since your liquid AIO is at the front, which move warm air in from the front, have your GPU vertically mounted.
