Thank you for taking us along on this beautiful and peaceful walk. Those old English churches and cemeteries evoke such a melancholy feeling, makes you wonder how many weddings, baptisms, and funerals took place there over the centuries…all silent now.
The grave stones suggest unidentified sailors drowned at sea, whose bodies washed up on nearby beaches. It looks like a beautiful medieval church that has been badly treated by time, falling congregations and the mischievous. The adjoining new church yard shows interments are still being made, and the grounds are well kept.
Abandoned churches are such sad places. At least, for the time being, the roof is in fair condition and the grass is being cut. I’ve seen far worse churchyards. The row of Merchant Navy war graves is particularly poignant.
It's actually quite a beautiful and peaceful setting. The Gothic style archways, the old, moss-covered stonework and the cavernous interior is testimony to expert craftmanship, swinging incense burners, and gentle singing. A place where spirits can find solace.
Found you by accident and decided to watch really enjoyed this.although its so sad to see the church just left in ruins like this. Its a part of history . :( but fantastic video and i have subbed as enjoyed so much.
Dear M0non, You made a excellent footage from a famous church left behind because the sea and land battle after centuries. Please keep in mind that when you enter the curch, those archers in the middle are not the same, and that tile floor you walking on during recording is very rare and at least 400-500 years old. Its sad that the Church Heritage don't see any reason to recover the church a bit but its very good to see that the roof is in acceptable conditions. I watched your footage a couple of times and there might be some whispers and strange noises in the beginning. Maybe next time you visit, take a grinder with you to grind off that silly graffiti left behind from a silly person from the past. Again, great footage, respect!
What a great looking place! But why is it the most haunted church in Britain? I couldn’t see or hear anything unusual. At 3:12 and 4:15 it makes a specific sound, but I can’t see anything out of the ordinary. What am I missing?
Is it considered illegal to go in and do small repairs to things like tile in places like these? They deserve a good deal of care because they’re so old and magnificent.
This building in particular is part of a church trust for abandoned historical buildings so I'm not sure. One thing I'm sure of is that the public are allowed inside.
What a shame how it hasnt had a preservation order put on it as a listed building. On the picture at the begining it looked really small until you saw it properly. I thought this location had been used for filming period dramas and films in the past because it looks familiar
No commentary at all?! Anyone can say it’s the most haunted church in Britain but that doesn’t make it so?! They could at least have given the name and location of the church? Not impressed. Simonline
It must have been a nice Church. It could be again. Put some nice stained windows in. redo the floors. Some big heavy wooden doors. Round up some rich Anglicans(Catholics) to get it done. Graveyard needs some tender loving care.
STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL !! BUT NEGLECTED SO SAD INDEED! 😢😢 😱😱😟🙁!! 🙁 WHY ????? Maybe, Some Millionares / Billionares / Trillionares/ Can HELP ???? FROM, U.K. (2023).
Come to Singapore and defy spirit offerings during the ghost month of August or any month and see what happens. The whole nation respects this month altho it's not official.

It very sad indeed that our beautiful churches are left to decay like this. Leaves me speechless .
How can they let this medieval church go to this state it’s really sad 😞
It’d be lovely if they could restore it to it’s original state. It’s such a beautiful church.
totally agree such a shame it be lovely to have money put onto it and made it really nice again i love old churches like this ❤❤
its had scaffolding around it for past 3 months for repairs, fenced off now
How on earth can the church of England do this to such a building, shameful.
What a beautiful place. Hanging out there for the serenity would be awesome. Thanks for sharing.

What an incredible building it must be maintained
Not hunted , very nice and quiet and the singing bird ❤
Haunted with Critters😮😇🤗🤔
Perfect venue for a party.. sound system, lighting rig & some cool revellers..
So tempted!!!
I honestly don’t think the building could stand up to a party, outside the ground is sinking on one side 😵💫
@@monon_travels Ahh.. shame.. looks like a beautiful place to film, is it really haunted???

Clearly heard footsteps at 3.59.
Me too, and it wasn’t the videographer either.
A very important and beautiful church in a sad state
Nice to have some background on the area.
My first not speaking video. Lol
Is actually quite peaceful

Did you go alone who was ypu with someone in the church?
I went with one other person, I don't find exploring as fun on my own 😊
so what makes you think its Haunted ???
Where is this church? Have a look at Kingweston church in Somerset. That’s haunted. Look at the spire! 👻👽
Info is in the bio, thanks for the suggestion! Hopefully will get chance to go 😊
Just out of interest, what makes this Britain's most haunted Church then?
Can someone say something
Why is this listed as an Anglican Church? It was built before the Church of England was in existence. Wouldn't that make it Catholic?
Sad
Why not of GERMAN????
WHAT????
Just build me a funeral pyre and let it rip….Drinks all around , of course.
What makes it the most hunted !!
Why call it a Haunted church, it’s just sad.
Looks like skidbrook nr louth lincs bin there done it...
