Danny was my friend. A humble, funny, ordinary, everyday genius. A lovely guy and a great player. Beautiful to see his inspiration continues. Rock on!

I agreeI that Danny Kiwan's playing, at the time, almost mirrored Peter Green's when they were cookin' together on stage. Enjoy his work on the Kiln House and bare trees albums. The latter venturing beyond straight blues.

Barrie's a true music lover, he speaks of his idols and influences with such humility. He's always so humble, saying things like he couldn't do this or 'I can't play like him'. He's also a musician and a guitarist with a very unique approach and style. As a fan of his band Little Barrie, and of his solo project The Cobra Lamps, I'm just thrilled to see all these new videos and I'm especially excited to read the comments of so many people, probably guitar players most of them, who seem to appreciate and admire BC for the same reasons I do. He's truly a one off and it's wonderful to see so many people who were not familiar with his band or his guitar work with other bands, now appreciating him as a guitarist and as a musician.

These videos have been an oasis (not a British pun) in a sea of guitar related pompousness. Barrie is a true player and brilliant music disciple/historian. Please keep these going indefinitely !

Read a quote from Mark Knopfler the other day about the importance of not only listening but absorbing and truly being influenced. Barrie’s one of those rare treasures who has gone deep down the rabbit hole, and we get to hear all of that history coming through his playing. 🙏

I discovered him several years ago because of the "Better Call Saul"'s theme. When I first listen his records I'got hooked. He plays so effortlessly... if I was give a gift such as "choose which guitarist would wish you to play like"... I would choose playing like Barrie. No doubt
