I'm a newbie just getting ito the whole POD world. Yeah, late. I thought I'd start with RB because it's easy to set up. But with this video, I'm thinking I may just skip RB altogether. I can't imagine I'd be making any profit at all for quite a while. But my question is, this new fee structure - is it calculated off your net profit or your revenue? And don't you already pay them to produce and fulfill your order? I don't know what the exact cost is, but for example let's say you sell a t-shirt for $25. They charge you $18 to fulfill that. So you left with $7. Them, according to this video, you would be additionally charged off that $7 profit? I guess $3.10. So they are basically double dipping on you?
RB apparently have been very good at ignoring helpful feedbacks from their sellers for years such as the obvious tag spamming and copycats issues, it’s just sad… this new system nobody asked for they came up with out of nowhere may just end themselves for good. We will wait and see.
Thank you Hannah for your videos. I know you love etsy and i am considering selling my shirts on there. Do you have to handle cust service and returns, etc. thank you!
Yes, this is the big drawback to Etsy is you are a little more hands on. But, thankfully using printify makes managing orders very hands off. You only have to do anything if customers message you.
It seems RB is the third or later store to open now with those costs and I'm just starting so, I guess no RB for me for a while. I'll try the others on my way to Amazon.
