7 seconds quicker than a F80 M3. 1:16 is on par with a well peddled F3000 single seater.

EVO used to have Henry, Jethro, Dickie Meaden etc, and used to put out such high quality content. Now there's this. What a shame!
That high quality content is gone because people don't desire it anymore. That's all there is to it.. We're dinosaurs, regardless of our age :)
I'm sure it's incredible to drive, but it sounds so dull. Go and check out the RXC Spyder lap at Blyton that they did :)

1:13:60 is Radical SR8LM, Caparo T1 is 1:14:80 and 1:17:70 is Ariel Atom 500 V8 for a context. Except performance I do not find anything compeling to buy this car. They need to get away from this design (like Ariel, BAC etc.).
Mad to think how fast the caparo still is. From 13 years ago. Would love to see it's nurburgring time, don't think barely anything could touch it

You know what get's me about these "times" majority of the time they're done wrong. SO what do i mean by wrong? well the fact they dont start from a standstill 0 mph. Top Gear and Autoweek were the few to do proper tests times. Heck even the mighty Nurburgring times are mostly scewed, because such times not only dont start from a standstill but also at the very start of the race their mph's vary just as the clock starts, and believe it or not a tone of time is gained or lost at the very launch of the race. even a second or more is up for grabs just at the start of the race. Yes we know majority of these rolling starts are due to not burning our clutches, blowing gears or just out rite breaking the car. tire temperature and traction at launch also matter greatly as it does during sprints and drag racing. but ide like to see more attention paid to the governing of proper ruling in regards to official times.

actual laptimes should be done in a full speed start, this is also stupid because lauch speed is just random at the line. to be fair just do a couple of lap and take the best one, that's the most acurate
How are they wrong, if they are consistent among all the cars that participate?
In F1, MotoGP, GT3, and so on , the fastest lap is the fastest lap, not the initial lap from a standstill, that’s absurd.
A standstill leaves even more space to human error for there are a lot of people that can’t really launch a car but are great at guiding it through the track, braking, etc...
The fact that pretty much all the lap times aren’t measured from a standstill makes it even for all cars.
I remember when evo did decent videos. Bloody rubbish now, in comparison. Jethro, Henry, Dickie. All gone and not replaced. So sad. Your production values are not carried over to lazy track day crap like this. Please remember what evo is all about. Yes, it’s the Thrill of Driving. But it’s also, from my perspective, the thrill of reading and watching the evo perspective on it. I’m very disappointed to say this is the first evo video I’ve disliked. Get the magic back!
