As for Grass I usually Cut in May which is only 2 months of growth, then in Aug which is 3 months of growth, and lastly in Nov which is 3 months and gives you just enough time to have the grass turn to silage if it is baled.
The Macdon swather mod has a haybine header which does mowing, tedding, and windrowing all in one pass. Way more realistic to how we hay in North America (at least in Alberta and Saskatchewan where I've farmed). Then you just need the swather and baler to do tons of baling contracts and save a lot of time.
I love the series! I personally use the „Krone EasyCut“ pack for mowing. It is 10m wide with rear mower and has the option to lay a swath. So you would have to do 3 steps instead of 2 but with 3 times the width so might be worth it. (btw sry for bad english, Im german :) .)
No need to apologize! Your English is great, and honesty you probably put more effort into practicing the language than any native English speaker bothers to put toward learning another language. We tend to be something of a "one trick pony" in terms of language..
For your greenhouse, if you set it to "selling" I believe you take a 40% reduction due to delivery fees or whatever. But since you have a farm stand set up, you should be able to set your greenhouse to "distributing" and it will automatically deliver those crops to your farm stand and you won't need a pallet jack. I haven't used the farm stand specifically so it might be different, but that's how it's supposed to work for other production points.
Grass roll the grass after you cut it to push growing stage sooner as opposed to it hanging out in the harvested stage until the growth cycle starts again.
When you're using GPS, if you select 'A + Direction' instead of 'A + Heading', it will set the GPS to the direction you're facing and you don't have to guess what the heading needs to be. Also, if you stand next to a wrapped bale and press 'R', it will cut open the bale without any mods.
The better loan mod is great IMO. Definitely add. I also would suggest the round baler extension mod that auto stops your tractor when the round baler is full.
If you use a weeder on a grass field after harvest it gets one application of fertilizer and one groth tier. so weeders are pretty nice for going for grass
Realistically to get to 1 billion dollars without spending an unrealistic amount of real life time ur gna have to use more QOL mods, especially things like auto load. To make 1 billion dollars ur gna have more pallets and bales than any 1 man can handle manually. As for the grass cutting, no matter how you do it you get the same amount of grass per year. Harvest at 3 months gives u 50% more yield than 2 months, so overall you get the exact same amount of grass per year but you save yourself 1 full harvest per year
Hmmm, where I live we get 3 cuts of hay a year on average and sometimes more. I don’t like them limiting it to 2 full or 3 small harvests. I wish they’d rework that completely.
@@TheFormalPickle I have really been enjoying the real world comparisons especially from the series with Papa Pickle, being a city boy my whole life its hard to tell how real farm sim is, but still enjoy it all the same
TLDR: If you use BIG implement grass cutting will be way faster if you don't yours is better. Yeah, seems like you are doing faster with moving and baling at the same time unless, you use cutter & rake that is multiple in width. Let's say your setup cuts 3m and you have 27 meter wide field, with current setup you will do 9 lap but if you've used 9 meter mower and rake, mower will take 3 lap, rake will take 3 and collection 3, totaly 9 lap so current setup will be same but of course game has implements that are wider than 9 meter.
Why are taking loan even if you have enough money. If you need money you will borow it when you need it but now you have to pay loan interest each day. Just asking
That money is worth more in my account than it is invested. If you could take someone else’s money and know you’ll earn more than you owe on it every month wouldn’t you? You’re making money off of someone else’s money and all you have to do is give them a small percentage of the money you earned until you pay it off.
Because IRL when you mow you want to keep the rows so you can easily make your windrows. A tedder spreads it all out and now you have to make your rows from scratch. In real life your hay dries naturally, the Tedder is a pointless tool that I’ve never used in the thousands of bales I’ve made.
@@TheFormalPickle oh absolutely. My FIL used to pull and repair water pumps/windmills for extra cash. I should clarify that I meant the power generators are very poorly balanced. I hate to see anyone use them.
If you think your gonna get to a billion dollars with grass I don’t know what your thinking why don’t you do grain crops like soybeans or corn things like that

Good to see you back and you sound very tired I hope things get better for you. Much love from Ohio.
I’m very tired but that’s nothing new lol

For the grass, 96 bales 3 times a year: 3X96= 288
2X120ish = 240 a year so more harvests does seem to be the way to go
If you use a weeder on a grass field after harvest it gets one application of fertilizer and one groth tier. so weeders are pretty nice for going for grass

@@polyrhythmmage7995 So when do you cut grass? April, July, Nov?

Change your bale size to stop the wrapping. I think 180cm bales will not be wrapped
If you bump your bale size up to 180 it will not wrap. I think L is the key to change size
From my experience if you set it up right by not cutting grass in november, then you can get 3 larger cuts per year. April, July, and October.
Jake needs a grass roller in February or March, so may hay would be May, August, and November
Like your video and your farm keep up good work pit more gas in your tractors
You should do the baling contacts but just do them as silage bales then steal the bails put them in your shed end the contract free money
I always get the A.I to do field 71 baling contract Jake. Good money maker, like 30K and u get like 8 leftover bales which I give to the sheep
if you turn on automatic drop (hit z) on the baler it won’t wrap it and that will let you get grass bales

Do you use a steering wheel setup and if you do which one do you recommend

@@TheFormalPickle thank you! I’ve seen tedders used because of rain. Hopefully in farm sim 25 it’s not a requirement. Haha
Can you comment or link in the description what mods you are using?
get QuickBale mod
AI thumbnails? 😭😭😭
If you make 180 bales you don`t wrap them

It's pronounced hectare
You used power generators.... kinda takes away from the series for me.
Farmers have more than just crops. If they didn’t it wouldn’t be a base game feature.
