So many wonderful kits and beautiful Mill Hill parade pieces...thanks for sharing. I have just discovered your UA-cam and have been binge watching...I am very new to cross stitching so am enjoying everything you have taught me about cross stitch. Finally figured out I wasn't on public but private comments. Thanks and love all work that you and Deb do!
Thanks, Liz, for taking us down the Mill Hill bead kit road! They have such wonderful patterns and kits. Love the Potoky M3 series for the tabletop. Happy stitching!
Hi Liz, FYI if anyone is looking, the purple, green, red and blue ornaments are from Cross stitch and country crafts, Jan/Feb 1998. I've made them 2x, and still have the book, because I want to do more. I love the Potoky bead box. I would love the storage box, I'm a subscriber. I 💘 you ladies, thank you! As always hugs and love to Hank and Ivan.
Thank you for your video! It was fun looking at all those kits, Liz. I've been stitching for a million years, but have never done a Mill Hill. Crazy 🙃! They were really cute! Take care and happy stitching!
Those smaller Mill Hill pieces would be great for my nieces to practice. As a subscriber the green Potoky stand would make my life a lot easier to stitch! Thank you for sharing with your subscribers!! The M2 and M3 stands look awesome on their website.
How lovely Liz to see your collection of Mill Hill kits. I have one hanging in my home which is a small sampler type design I did around 15 years ago and other small designs which I have given as gifts over the years. That small green Potoky is still on my favorites list. Thank you for another informative video.
This was a fun video. I've also been stitching Mill Hill kits for years and have many of the same kits. Each year I stitch a Christmas ornament for my 10 grandchildren and a few years they have received beaded ornaments. This year they are all getting the foxwood crossings sleds personalized with their initials. Last year it was the beaded diamond linen ornaments.
I have stitched many Mill Hill kits, especially Christmas ornaments. My birthday is in November, so I would be thrilled to get a Potoky mini frame to hold my stitching. Love your Country Stitchers videos, and information on products we can’t do without! Keep them coming.
It was fun to see your Mill Hill collection. It reminded me of my sister. I have a couple of ornaments that she wasn’t able to finish before she passed away. Seeing yours makes me want to get them out and finish them for her daughters. I was looking for a glimpse of Potoky goodness, but I didn’t see anything. Maybe I was too focused on the old Mill Hill treasures.
Thank you Liz for showing us your collection. The selection here in the UK is very minimal and are more often than not out of stock but I did manage to get one of the Christmas ornament sets and I am having great fun doing them. Still to attempt the beading. As a beader I am hoping that I find the task not too onerous. Stay safe and well.
This was wonderful, Liz! While hard to play favorites, your Paisley Pumpkin on perforated paper is a show-stopper. Seems my standard stitching fare includes hoops and samplers, but the cache of Q-Snaps I have would work with perforated paper, Lugana, or the like, so any of the various varieties of Potoky stands could be used with the tempting Mill Hill kits. Thanks tremendously for these ever-inspiring video visits.
Many years ago I bought my first Bead & Button kit at a Silver Needle booth at a needlework show. I also bought the squares of Wichelt linen and have never looked back! I always do those larger kits on fabric. We have quite a few overlaps between our Mill Hill stashes LOL. I could easily stitch nothing but MH for a year... or more!
I have been quilting and knitting and been watching floss tube videos. I really enjoy your videos. I love the work you both do. Very professional videos. I recently purchased 17 patterns. 16 are the “Little House Needleworks” shops, and train etc. I also purchased the “Harvest Time”. I love farm scenes and stores etc. I have never tried a sampler yet although I do love the ones with the pretty borders.
I love to stitch Mill Hill kits! You have some beautiful ones. Stitching some of them on fabric is a good idea! My hands cramp up some days when I stitch in hand. I guess I'd better look into those frames you use with perforated paper. I went to the Potoky site. I love the large needlework floor stand. I also like the small green stand. I think your idea for a tree with these kits would be cute. Jim Shore kits are gorgeous! I have only done one but others are in my wish list. Thank you for sharing your stash!
Loved seeing all your Mill Hill kits many of which I recently acquired. Some are dated back to 1996 and I was happy to find them. I have so many and I tend to only do one stitch piece at a time. I see people with10+ WIPS and I think I need to start more than one. Anyways I loved finding your channel and became a new subscriber. Thank you!
I have never tried beading but looks like the beading kits would be fun to stitch. I love the Velke Potoky M3 stands and also the Organizer OM1-L All gorgeous! all the stands a beautiful. thank you for sharing your collection, my stash it still quite small 😊 The festive stitching kits are all so lovely.
It was neat seeing that Cardinal Wreath one come up. I stitched that a few years ago and got it framed for my sister's bf. I think I had that Santa you showed right before it, or at least one similar to it. It's like seeing old friends. Now I want to find that Cardinal Forest and do that one too. I still wish I'd gotten the Jim Shore playing cards series, they're so pretty. I recently got into collecting and now stitching all the trio Santas. And that helped me remember I loved the little Mill Hill ornament kits. So this year, we're all getting Mill Hill ornaments. (And these will actually be FFO'd, unlike the ones from a couple of years ago lol.)
Thanks for sharing! I love Mill Hill kits and I have done quite a few of them. I do a lot of them on Aida instead of paper. I even did a little bunny in a go cart that was a magnet Kit on regular Aida and framed him in a 3 inch hoop! I have not done a Jim Shore but your collection has inspired me to do them. I wrote down a bunch to check out. Have a good week❤️
I love Mill Hill kits and have made a few myself. I’ve always wanted to bead and stitch the needle case kit you showed from the 90’s. The POTOKY is a beautiful stand and I think it would be very comfortable to stitch with it. I hope one day to stitch on the M3 series. Thank you for sharing all your Mill Hill kits.
Thank you for sharing your lives and your creativity. You are good company to have while stitching. I checked out the Potoky site and my favorite is the mini lap stand. I stitch in my recliner, so it would be a wonderful tool to have.
There are so many that I like when I get into a stitching shop that I have trouble with which one to buy. I usually end up buying my typical sampler supplies. And my sampler old or brand new will look great on the Potoky stand! :)
You do have a great selection of bead kits! Great inspiration!!!!!! While I have only a few in my collection to finish, I too need to get stitching. I have difficulty in starting several at a time. I tend to do one at a time and try to finish. This tends to be very trying at times and limits my inspiration. Thanks for sharing your beautiful designs, projects and plans. Keep them coming!! The Mini Potoky might allow me to change between projects more often since it allows the ability to change different frames, scroll bars, or q-snaps. I do think it would help with adjusting positioning in the proper position for stitching.
I love Mill Hill kits so much so that I tend to double buy-lol. I have done a few of the Treasured kits!! A lot of fun!!!My favorite are the Christmas ornaments. I even have a Mill Hill Christmas tree dedicated to the ornaments. Remembering the green Patoki!!!
Thanks for pulling out and showing the Mill Hill kits! I've done several and have really enjoyed the process and the finished pieces. I had to laugh when you mentioned the "tree in your head" - right there with you! Stay well and happy stitching!
I am addicted to Mill Hill kits. I mainly do Christmas themed ones and give them as Christmas presents. I find it very easy to work on the perforated paper. My only problem is the frames - they can be difficult to get here in the UK. Thanks for showing all the kits.
I love the ones with the cardinals. Just discovered mill hill kits and ordered some can’t wait for them to get here. The Jim shore one are so fun too I have quite a few of the jim shore status.
Hi Liz, Very nice collection of charts! Mr. and Mrs. Velke Potoky have made several video's showing a floor model, it looks very handy. Thanks for sharing.
I completed my very first Mill Hill beaded kit earlier this year. It's called Moonlit Treaters. And, I LOVE it! I was always hesitant to try them because I wasn't sure of the durability of the perforated paper. I was surprised at how sturdy it is.... but, will certainly use some care in storing it season to season. Maybe the next Mill Hill kit might get stitched on aida....simply because so much time goes into these, I'd hate to have it get wet and fall apart. But, yes..... wonderfully fun kits! Thank you for sharing your stash! :-)
Thanks Liz for sharing your beaded stitch patterns! I love all the Christmas patterns. They are my favorites. I'm working on my first, a Mill Hill Festival of Trees - Cardinal Tree. I think you would like this pattern. Still loving the Potoky mini stand.
That was a walk down memory lane Liz. I too have a few of the older Mill Hill “pin” kits. I’ve also done a few of the larger square pictures from Mill Hill.
I love working with Mill Hill beads, and have made a lot of jewelry with them through the years. Thanks for sharing. I am a subscriber, I would love to own the green mini Potoky you showed, which was my favorite from the website. Also, the storage boxes would be my second choice.
Liz, as always thanks for your time sharing with us. It's been many years since I cross stitched, I only started back since I found County Stitchers...😁 Thanks
I've been wanting and prefer the mini Potoky and the green color is devine. The M4-L stand is my favourite but I already have a different brand of a floor stand. I need something more portable and the mini fits the bill perfectly. Thank you so much for this opportunity
Mill Hill is really dear to my heart. The original designer, Jill Siegler, was a good friend of mine. She was one of the original organizers of the Madison Area Chapter of EGA and taught several counted thread techniques. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.
Thank you for sharing. Your kits bring back memories of when I was actually stitching. I stopped for 20 to 30 years to focus on quilting. Working to many hours a week to do several crafts at a time. Love potion number 9 is a 1959 song I heard a lot in the early 60’s....hmmm I’m dating myself! Thank you and Deb for all you do to help us stay sane in this crazy time. Stay safe!
I've been to Ocean City once and went to Salty Yarns. Such a wonderful shop. I've had some problems with arm pain, so maybe a stand is just what I need. I think the mini Potoky would work best for me. I would take any of the beautiful colors they offer.
When you said way back I kept waiting to see the real old crusty kits, 🤣. I switched to Mill Hill kits in the 1980s when my oldest was born, she is 32, to feel as if I had accomplished a project. I framed them and they still hang in my kitchen today, carefully away from all the dust and grease. When I look at them it takes me back to my ”baby” days.😊Thank you for your parade of Mill Hill kits.
Love watching you. The Potoki floor stand is the one ffom the website that I would choose if price were no object, but the mini is the one that is more adaptable. I would love to have that.
I have a full container of Mill Hill Buildings around town! I really love them but haven’t stitch any since neuropathy. I had gone the impression that “good” stitchers didn’t stitch these - so it warms my heart that you did an entire video on these ... thank you! 💕🧵💕🧵💕
Love seeing all of your Mill Hill kits, Liz! I did a Curly Girl series project a couple of years ago with the beads; it turned out lovely and I gifted to a friend. It was the first time I used the Mill Hill beads and wasn't as scary as I thought. Missed seeing those lovely Potoky stands this week...but it was good to see you!
I also was stitching while watching the Steelers/Browns game as I do every game...Go Steelers! Thank you for sharing all of the Mill Hill kits...I love them...
Hi Liz, I like the mill hill snow flake kits. I may purchase one of those but I would change the colors out to suit my decor. Either silver, gold, blue or white would work just fine for me. I like the snowmen that Deb gifted to you, nice colors. I still like the Potoky cream colored organizer box that was in your previous video. All of the black cat designs are cute imo, my daughter has her second black cat now named Mochi. Mochi is 2 but looks like she’s only a kitten.
I don't know anything about stitching on perforated paper. Have you done a video on it or would you consider explaining it within one of your upcoming videos? This was nice to watch. I always pay attention the first time, then save these to sit and stitch by. It's like having you here talking to me.
Both types of kits you shared look so interesting. I haven’t seen them before. I might have to look for one to try it out. I would love to have a POTOKY mini stand to hold my stitching work. That is my favorite item on the POTOKY web site right now!
What fun would be a tree with mini beaded ornaments on it and a mini green Potoky under it. Thanks for showing us your bead patterns today. I have been looking forward to this.
I checked out the Potoky site and products. They all look very well made. I liked the M3 Desktop stand series along with most of their other products. The stand and the storage box would both be very useful.
Thank you for the interesting "tour" of your bead project bin! Many I've never seen before. Hope you're having fun on your trip! Love the Potoky mini and floor stands too
Oh wow...so many gorgeous projects. You will have a wonderful Christmas tree with ornaments, soon! No time for cooking with so many projects to do. Thanks for sharing x
Ha! I thought I had just somehow missed the Mill Hill episode. Thanks for remembering and taking time. I have never bought or done one, so that was pretty cool to see. :) That little pear you get out every year is the cutest---do it!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching all your Mill Hill items! I loved the mittens! I really am inspired to start a collection for Christmas! Thank you for doing this!
Mill Hill is among my favorites. I have stitched several of the mitten kits, stocking kits, pins, and buttons and beads. That being said you shared so many kits I have never seen. The majority of my stitching has been given away as gifts.
So many wonderful kits and beautiful Mill Hill parade pieces...thanks for sharing. I have just discovered your UA-cam and have been binge watching...I am very new to cross stitching so am enjoying everything you have taught me about cross stitch. Your Mill Hill kits are all so sweet! Love to have a mini Potoky to stitch one on!

Hi Liz,
Very nice collection of charts!
Mr. and Mrs. Velke Potoky have made several video's showing a floor model, it looks very handy.
Thanks for sharing.
I completed my very first Mill Hill beaded kit earlier this year. It's called Moonlit Treaters. And, I LOVE it! That was a walk down memory lane Liz. I too have a few of the older Mill Hill “pin” kits. I’ve also done a few of the larger square pictures from Mill Hill.
I have bought Halloween Mill Hill ornaments this year to stitch to put on a small tree but only finished one.
I love working with Mill Hill beads, and have made a lot of jewelry with them through the years. Thanks for sharing. I am a subscriber, I would love to own the green mini Potoky you showed, which was my favorite from the website. Also, the storage boxes would be my second choice.

So informative, thanks
I just saw another Flosstuber using a V Potoky stand. The site is quite easy to use. I love the Mini and the green is gorgeous!
I love your Potoky promotion! The website has such beautiful pieces!! My favorite may be the table stand, but I could honestly buy one of everything!!
Love watching you. The Potoki floor stand is the one ffom the website that I would choose if price were no object, but the mini is the one that is more adaptable. I would love to have that.
Love the green Pitoky lap stand!
Love all the Potoky products - especially the Mini-Passistant given it works with any frame, hoop or qsnap. Also love the floor stand.

Hi liz, hope you had a good dinner . Happy sure day 🐶
I love the mini green POTOKY hoop stand!
I don't know anything about stitching on perforated paper. Have you done a video on it or would you consider explaining it within one of your upcoming videos? This was nice to watch. I always pay attention the first time, then save these to sit and stitch by. It's like having you here talking to me.
Love Jim Shores...have many pieces. These are all wonderful. Enjoy doing these beaded stitching.

Ha! I thought I had just somehow missed the Mill Hill episode. Thanks for remembering and taking time. I have never bought or done one, so that was pretty cool to see. :) That little pear you get out every year is the cutest---do it!
The Potoky mini is the way to go!!
That was wonderful thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Thank you for sharing you have a wonderful collection 😊
Thanks for sharing Liz! I loved seeing all the beaded kits and patterns.
