    It was great, for me, to see what a good reinforcement rate is. A light bulb went off over my head. Setting our dogs up for success includes a reinforcement rate which basically doesn't give them the opportunity to fail. I'm a big proponent of "train your dog, don't test them", but your video took that to a new level for me. Brilliant. Thank you.

    John is by far absolutely amazing he showed me and my dog so many things explained it all brilliantly would def reccomend him to anyone looking for help with dog training

    I swear I love Logan as if he was one of my own dogs! He's such a beautiful, sweet dog!
    Leave it has always been a tricky one for me to train because it is such a slippery slope to "force light" and punishments. This was super helpful!

    Could you treat from a pouch rather than the distraction bowl . Thanks for the video

    Hi John could i use a similar click and treat method to try and get my Collie to look to me instead of barking when he hears a noise outside. He's started to become more and more noise reactive and I'm not sure what to do

    Sorry bit I have never had to train leave from my dog.with a treat.I am the high value,not a piece of food.When I say leave,my dog leaves.

      Yes, because if the threat or implied threat. We do it positively.
