      Most people who rely on the easy chances never make it, because they aren't good enough. Doesn't matter if you live in England, Antarctica or fucking China if you are good enough you will make a name for yourself, people will start talking about you and you will make it onto the big stage.

    England is a country with an insane amount of competition. If you want to go pro, you have to put in lots of hard work which sometimes it may not be good enough as there are soo many talented players. Also in England the football is not as technical as in other countries like Spain and Germany but is more physical which means you’ll have work out. Basically you’ll have to manage your time really well.

    • @keithk2092

      If your English and boarder-line good enough go to Spain and u will definitely get scouted

      What if I want to play on a non league team or even lower than that? Cause I don't wanna play in the premier league. Would being on a non league or lower team still be hard to make?

    • @minz1131
      @minz1131 6 років тому +3

      Simon Atkinson it would still be challenging but not as challenging as a higher level. There is many players here that want to do what you want and go up the divisions which means that there will be a lot of competition but I think it’s a great idea and should definitely try it out

    • @simonatkinson7005
      @simonatkinson7005 6 років тому +2

      Great! Now, do you know if (and it's totally ok if you don't) I have to be scouted, or I have to fly over there and try out?

    • @minz1131
      @minz1131 6 років тому +2

      Simon Atkinson you can do both. Depending on the country you live in, teams from England will send scouts to watch matches and if you perform well, they could talk to you and come to watch you again and then asking to you if you’d like to come to England so they can scout you further in the English leagues. If you are good enough then they’ll sign you but you never know if there actually is going to be a scout in the first place. Also you could come to England yourself and go to free trials for teams and if your good they’ll call you back and possibly sign you. Both ways though are very difficult so I’d advise you start contacting scouts in your country to come watch you and go to trials in your country. If your country doesn’t have a good scouting system then you may need to go look elsewhere. Check out a UA-cam channel called “train effective” could be useful

      German it is. Go to Germany. If you are under 16 many teams will look at you. Everybody loves Canadian work ethics. Play hard and learn. Canada has a long way to churn out professionals. Big local clubs have "high performance" programs since 1998, but no pro players to show for. It is the reality. Good luck with your endeavours.

    Good one Matt!! The levels nowadays are really high everywhere!! I have tried in Russia and you could not imagine how many good players they have. The solution is to work harder to get on the competitive level. And yes lots of visa situation may rise. I tried in many countries in Europe and the visa thing was always an issue since they had limited places for foreigners players and besides that they need to pay for your visa and many teams are not willing to do that unless you are already an established pro player (famous). But we can never give up!

    Everyone plays football in England.Even kids who generally aren't sporty at least play at break or lunch.Another the thing people don't take into account is that different areas of the country have varying levels of competition and skill needed to go pro.England may have 92 pro teams and quite a few semi-pro teams that pay well,but it's going to be hard to be recognised if you live in a rural area or if you are in a dense city.

    No offense to people who wanted to take a easy path towards your pro football career . It's good to play in a country in which you can get scouted easily but in my opinion if u start from a hard held scouting country even if u don't get selected you will in return get experience and then next time for sure when you give tryouts someone will scout you.
    (THIS IS JUST MY ADVICE)
    ANYWAYS GOODLUCK PROGRESSING IN YOUR CAREER DONT BACK DOWN. EVEN I WILL GIVE TRYOUTS HOPE WE GET SELECTED AND LETS MEET ON THE PITCH ONE DAY⚽❤️

    I got a couple of friends that play in the mls and Mexican soccer first and second division. The pay is better in Mexico, also easy to make it. In the U.S. you have to go to college to get scouted or in club level.

    I feel like im going to be a professional, im only 13 and im really good. I been playing for almost 4 years now. I learned soccer just from watching games and youtube. 2 years ago i joined a club and and i was slow and not that good. Now im really fast and really good. People started playing since they were 5 or 6 but i did the work in almost 4 years. Try you best and believe in yourself cuz thats what I did. In 6 years, ill be a professional playing for real madrid. remember me.

    I’m Canadian but I’m currently training and playing u19 in Portugal and what you said about why would the club go through the trouble of the foreign player over their local players is to true. The competition is crazy & im lucky enough to be playing on a second division team. But my biggest problem is getting a visa to go pro next year, like you said it’s been pretty hard I’ve been trying to get it for months. Long story short I don’t think any country is “easy” to go professional but connections are very important

    Basics best leagues are in the UK. England has the conference and Scotland has the Highland and Lowland leagues. Best way to move up the leagues and to better teams is by starting at the bottom and making your way up. Promotion, worth ethic and goals will all show you are a potential player that could become a target in a few tiers above. I am currently trying to get a trial with Fort William FC, who are 30 odd miles away from me, and this season are bottom of the table with 0 points and conceded over 100 goals. I have messaged them via twitter to tell them I am willing to help them get a better finish next season, as I am a striker, but I feel my fitness isn't great for a 16 year old, and I have a constant pain in my left foot which feels like I've torn a massive patch of skin and muscle in it. But hopefully, they'll get back to me or I'll send them an E-Mail to make it more professional (cos usually you don't see someone asking Manchester fucking United for a trial over Twitter or Facebook. Hope I can actually get a trial. Sorry, I've drifted off track. You want to get into football? Join a low division team, recommendations: Highland/Lowland League (Scotland), Conference (England), or just try and attempt to get to one of those football schools
