“Don’t expect an easier route, expect a DIFFERENT route” very well said 👏🏼👏🏼
Most people who rely on the easy chances never make it, because they aren't good enough. Doesn't matter if you live in England, Antarctica or fucking China if you are good enough you will make a name for yourself, people will start talking about you and you will make it onto the big stage.
Senpou : Oodama Rasengan
agreed
it is very well said
Barcelona4Lyf “Antarctica”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah I love it 🤑🙌
England is a country with an insane amount of competition. If you want to go pro, you have to put in lots of hard work which sometimes it may not be good enough as there are soo many talented players. Also in England the football is not as technical as in other countries like Spain and Germany but is more physical which means you’ll have work out. Basically you’ll have to manage your time really well.
If your English and boarder-line good enough go to Spain and u will definitely get scouted
What if I want to play on a non league team or even lower than that? Cause I don't wanna play in the premier league. Would being on a non league or lower team still be hard to make?
Simon Atkinson it would still be challenging but not as challenging as a higher level. There is many players here that want to do what you want and go up the divisions which means that there will be a lot of competition but I think it’s a great idea and should definitely try it out
Great! Now, do you know if (and it's totally ok if you don't) I have to be scouted, or I have to fly over there and try out?
Simon Atkinson you can do both. Depending on the country you live in, teams from England will send scouts to watch matches and if you perform well, they could talk to you and come to watch you again and then asking to you if you’d like to come to England so they can scout you further in the English leagues. If you are good enough then they’ll sign you but you never know if there actually is going to be a scout in the first place. Also you could come to England yourself and go to free trials for teams and if your good they’ll call you back and possibly sign you. Both ways though are very difficult so I’d advise you start contacting scouts in your country to come watch you and go to trials in your country. If your country doesn’t have a good scouting system then you may need to go look elsewhere. Check out a UA-cam channel called “train effective” could be useful
IN BRAZIL 3 YEAR OLD KIDS are already able to juggle it took me untill I was 12 to do that
Me to
it took me until now , im 14 and still learning to juggle
@@mudzaffarputrakhalid4805
It's okay I'm 13 about to be 14 and I'm barley starting off my journey to becoming a pro footballer. I'm still learning obviously and still have a LONG way to go ☺️
I could juggle since I was 8
@@gktips6503
Good for you dude 🙂
Time to rename this to Ten Minute Tuesday
44xboxer this vid was 5 min ffs
44xboxer this video is 5 mins
When u realise it’s only five mins
Five Minute Fridays?
Ireland is a good play to start because many players get a transfer to the championship in England
ARON LB that Tolka Park in your pic?
its very good players even make premier league academies
It's still a tough league. I'm playing for an under 18's team in the second decision and it's still very hard work. But it can be done
You literally have to individually dominate the league to get that move though.. So not that many. Most who do ok in the Irish league are probably compatible in english football league 2 or a touch lower.
Waz_rooney173 ye but if Ur really good in Ireland you'll get scouted
I feel extremely lucky since i live in Canada and I have a German Citizenship.
BSTE Football same except I'm from America
BSTE Football can I play as a pro in Canada ??
German it is. Go to Germany. If you are under 16 many teams will look at you. Everybody loves Canadian work ethics. Play hard and learn. Canada has a long way to churn out professionals. Big local clubs have "high performance" programs since 1998, but no pro players to show for. It is the reality. Good luck with your endeavours.
Oh yeah yeah
@@cesar3994 Tnx for advice but only money an visa left and an agent
In Africa and Asia there is so much INCREDIBLE talents that go unnoticed, players there would probably win ballondors and major trophies, it's so sad that they go unnoticed, so much potential wasted
people need to come to Africa to see real talents and south africa to 😏
Even botswana i feel like some countries in afica have good players but the countries are underestimated
@@sebagabotipeng You're right...When I was in South Africa... I felt the same!
Honestly African players work rates are crazy high. Too bad there is corruption, because if there wasnt then more African Countries would have more world cups
@@pluto4301 Thanks for the feedback
Facts bro I play for Orlando pirates and the talent in the academy is crazy if the players in the pirates academy went to Europe most would make it the talent is actally crazy
Shit!! I forgot to "like" the video. Had to come back. Now I'm leaving a comment as pennants. Awesome video, Matt.
I really like how he’s realistic and straight forward to the point
very well constructed answer. thanks matt!!
Great to hear about india...
i really wanna become pro.
I am from india
Hope i get this opprtunity
Ravi Mankani me too
Where do you live in India
Ileague
Me too
Hey brother, I'm from Northeast India...
Ravi Mankani Me too
Good one Matt!! The levels nowadays are really high everywhere!! I have tried in Russia and you could not imagine how many good players they have. The solution is to work harder to get on the competitive level. And yes lots of visa situation may rise. I tried in many countries in Europe and the visa thing was always an issue since they had limited places for foreigners players and besides that they need to pay for your visa and many teams are not willing to do that unless you are already an established pro player (famous). But we can never give up!
How about when you are already in such countries Spain or Germany about visa procedures or work permit?
Great videos. So true there’s no easy way to play pro
Love the vids Matt
This is great matt! 👍🏻 keep up the work
Somehow I knew all of this but to organize this thoughts and convert it words you did a great job.
This guy should create an ebook on this. I have never played soccer, but won't mind be a pro.
Portugal improved a lot youth formation since 2000s
.. could be a good choise
I definitely agreed with you my brother and I wish I have the chance to go there and develop into much more better footballer to archived my dream in football.
@@gibrilfofana7636did u make It?
thanks for the motivation m8 now you made my day because im from macedonia and i now there are a lot of scouts here that could see my talent
Im from macedonia too za kon klub igras
You have opened my eyes oml thank you
Hey Matt, You’re part of inspiration to play football for a professional team. I’m 12 and already practicing 15 hours per week. Would you recommend any certain drills?
I love two minute Tuesday so much
His videos have gotten so good man
I've been playing football since I was a little but never really had chance to find a pro team, never give up I'll find one and I'm ready for one.
0:34 Thanks for involving Albania in this video!❤️☮️
Kosovo is Serbia
🇽🇰🇦🇱☪️
I just love how he says its two minute tuesday when the video is 5:19
Beautiful video. Thanks!
This video is amazingly well done
Play in Norway. Great facilities and good wages
Hey Matt, could you make a video JUST like this but for youths...like U15, U16, and U18?
Hey matt.
I live in New Zealand and since making the final for the World Cup qualifiers against Peru the footballing system has gotten better. I play for ole academy U13 and I'm 12 and I train with 13-14 year olds. I got moved up. You should come to the a league it's not that bad of a league. In a few years the team I'm playing for is gonna try qualifying for the club World Cup.
Great video
amazing video very informative and to the point
Everyone plays football in England.Even kids who generally aren't sporty at least play at break or lunch.Another the thing people don't take into account is that different areas of the country have varying levels of competition and skill needed to go pro.England may have 92 pro teams and quite a few semi-pro teams that pay well, but it's going to be hard to be recognised if you live in a rural area or if you are in a dense city.
this was awesome
I just friggin' lovveee it, how much effort you put into these videos, man !!!! Thanks a lot ,really thanks a lot man. I'll definitely repay you by playing with you on the same turf some day ! (professionally :) )
Great, great analyses
I'm from India & u are right...lack very much opportunity...less scouting network...Birth of football in India is on 2014...so ISL is the best for us..
Gylex Mainam I think I will move to India Next year but I got to start communicating to people over there
English bro
Tejas Pathak hey bro this isn't exam...I hope you understand.
Gylex Mainam just kidding bro 😂 Don't be offended , we Indians have the right to joke u know
Birth in 2014 :D Are you kidding. There was I-League before 2014. ISL destroyed the Indian football.
I'm Brazilian, I've been played for many years here in Brazil for clubs for different categories because I'm only 21! I'm trying to go to US to study and play for some University! I think it'll be the best option for my future! In Brazil we play in a high level, there are a lot of great players but the here football is not that profissional like in Europe! Corruption is everywhere, if don't have a manager or a rich family is difficult to keep your dream
same in argentina
Become the best player that you can, make a name for yourself like Neymar did and many other brazilians
Try mexico, they have competitive football. French players like Gignac have gone to mexico
If you want to play pro football, US is not a good option. If you just want to get a degree at a University playing football for the school, then its a good option.
I am from India. I want to become a pro player
Thats superb bro...lot of information
Fully agree!
For us here in Brazil, the best country is Portugal, several players left here unknown and managed to reach great teams in Europe, and almost every team in the lower divisions has Brazilian players.
Yesss I am from Thailand when I turn 16 i just wanna go back Thailand and become pro players
Loved this video was very interesting
Your videos are really helpful sir ❤️⚽️
I have some few questions.
-What about Russia?? is it a good place for being a pro??
- And please, what countries are beneficial on the Varies of VISA??
Would be glad to have answers 🙏
No offense to people who wanted to take a easy path towards your pro football career . It's good to play in a country in which you can get scouted easily but in my opinion if u start from a hard held scouting country even if u don't get selected you will in return get experience and then next time for sure when you give tryouts someone will scout you.
(THIS IS JUST MY ADVICE)
ANYWAYS GOODLUCK PROGRESSING IN YOUR CAREER DONT BACK DOWN. EVEN I WILL GIVE TRYOUTS HOPE WE GET SELECTED AND LETS MEET ON THE PITCH ONE DAY⚽❤️
wanted a video just like this for a LONG time!! would have given thousand likes if i could
Great vid !!!!!
I play for ATK u-16s in the Indian Super League and I hope to play for the first team from next year
Sayan Das are there any players from other countries?
im gonna go abroad for training
hopefully spain
Same brother
I appreciate this 👏
THANK YOU BIG BROTHER
Hi Matt, I think maybe you should do 10 minutes tuesday or 2 minutes tuesday, 2 minutes wednesday, 2 minutes thursday, etc... cause you'll never do on time
Thats alot of ideas to come up with per week ! And then to edit.
Dương Trần 😂lol
From Nepal 🇳🇵. 13yrs. Gonna be the best player of all time.
aayush kafle be consistent and work hard
No, no your not
Kostissofianos says who?
Good luck you
aayush kafle Your confidence is Great, Just need to back it up with Hard Work.
Who is from Malaysia and proud bcs he mentions Malaysia repeatedly ? 🤙🏻
Going to Italy in February, Serie C trial.
You said Macedonia...you sir have my up most respect, thank you! 😊
Also i think the easiest country for me to succed will be Denmark, or Sweden, or Germany, OR Australia and maybe USA
P.S
Great video!
Australia is kinda true. I play for my state and it isn't that hard
How’s your journey?
Great video again, thanks! I have a question, I used to play semi-pro in Malta (goalkeeper), and stopped at age 27, now I'm 33, living in Taiwan, i joined an Amateur club, and im training 3-4-5 hours a day. I believe i can get bk in semi-pro as I can train all day if needed to but opportunities are close to non existing here in Taiwan. What would you do? Thank you
Go back to Malta
I got a couple of friends that play in the mls and Mexican soccer first and second division. The pay is better in Mexico, also easy to make it. In the U.S. you have to go to college to get scouted or in club level.
I really glad to hear all this coz where I am i don't know if it can happen
I feel like im going to be a professional, im only 13 and im really good. I been playing for almost 4 years now. I learned soccer just from watching games and youtube. 2 years ago i joined a club and and i was slow and not that good. Now im really fast and really good. People started playing since they were 5 or 6 but i did the work in almost 4 years. Try you best and believe in yourself cuz thats what I did. In 6 years, ill be a professional playing for real madrid. remember me.
Mosawer7 🤣 very humble m8
So how’s it going now
I don't know where to kick start my future. This is gonna be tough :((
We can get through it keep trying and u will find a place
Im from Malaysia, and I approve this video. Although Malaysian Football League is starting to develop for real now. But still getting overshadowed by Thailand League.
Malaysia gaji besar... Import at least 30k sebulan
I’m Canadian but I’m currently training and playing u19 in Portugal and what you said about why would the club go through the trouble of the foreign player over their local players is to true. The competition is crazy & im lucky enough to be playing on a second division team. But my biggest problem is getting a visa to go pro next year, like you said it’s been pretty hard I’ve been trying to get it for months. Long story short I don’t think any country is “easy” to go professional but connections are very important
how did it go now that your turning or are 22?
Hello
I live in USA 🇺🇸 and I play in a academy but there’s really good players but don’t lose the hope
From Which academy did u play
Please what if I want to join, what did I need
You left South Africa out
I'm 14 and I currently play in the 4th tier of South African Football(flex)
Love coming from ja
I plan on going to brazil next year with some friends. One of em has connections with an agent down there. I also have connections with an agent in japan. And I know someone who played semi pro soccer in his native Costa Rica.
Jamaica I will play for my national team
I'm a french fast winger, not very skillful and I want to play overseas, in what I just say for you which league suit me best ? Great vid man 👌
eredivisie or a league. a league dont have many good wingers
Basics best leagues are in the UK. England has the conference and Scotland has the Highland and Lowland leagues. Best way to move up the leagues and to better teams is by starting at the bottom and making your way up. Promotion, worth ethic and goals will all show you are a potential player that could become a target in a few tiers above. I am currently trying to get a trial with Fort William FC, who are 30 odd miles away from me, and this season are bottom of the table with 0 points and conceded over 100 goals. I have messaged them via twitter to tell them I am willing to help them get a better finish next season, as I am a striker, but I feel my fitness isn't great for a 16 year old, and I have a constant pain in my left foot which feels like I've torn a massive patch of skin and muscle in it. But hopefully, they'll get back to me or I'll send them an E-Mail to make it more professional (cos usually you don't see someone asking Manchester fucking United for a trial over Twitter or Facebook. Hope I can actually get a trial. Sorry, I've drifted off track. You want to get into football? Join a low division team, recommendations: Highland/Lowland League (Scotland), Conference (England), or just try and attempt to get to one of those football schools
Good video!
I am an CAM what drills should I do to become better
Hey man awesome video. Really informative. I live in India, should i look to start my career here and wait for scouts to notice me, or should i look to go abroad? I'm a defender.
Useful video
I feel I have to go over seas because I'm under 16 and I to get better football education but in my country Namibia the the problem is not clubs it's the coaching system. In the past two years I've learned most if not all I know of football from videos like this and guys like you that way I what to go over seas to learn the game better so I can at least have a chance to go pro and be real with how many of you actually know Namibia?
Next "Two" Minute Tuesday on how to gain muscle while doing cardio?
AlexFootball17 ???
You don't do them at the same time
South Africa right now is pretty good to go pro then move to Europe one day
Forever Wolves no ways! Not much teams in SA and playing standard is not too great.
Theyre just fucking fast as shit
I AM NOT AN AFRICAN but I don't think South Africa is pretty good to go pro because its one of the lowest in development and many pro footballers (I mean kids) who are from Africa die from lack of food and hygiene
LOL
Galén Joseph haha you don't even no SA
Watching from Kolkata,West Bengal, India! Please visit our city for once and u will find so many talents just getting wasted away for not getting oppurtunities in the right time of life.
Become Elite matt, my football cv looks plain and makes me come across as an average player. What courses do you recommend for me to attract more teams? Thanks
Who’s the player from malta. I am from there
Hi,from Greece
If yall want somewhere to be seen then sign up on ax soccer tours, they got scouts from places like Denmark 🇩🇰 Sweden 🇸🇪 Ireland 🇮🇪 Finland 🇫🇮 etc then you could get seen there if u dominate
thanks man
How’s Australia for a 14 year old playing in second highest league for my age
Which league? NPL? Cus I play state for Tasmania and it is quite easy in Tasmania, id say I would be top 5 in the state for U12's and probably Top 2 in CB
I am an defender what program would you recommend for me
RANDOM STUFF WITH RF3 Elite 90 has a full defender training program in it!
Thanks
@RF3Dude am also defender but I will like you to do some flexibility in your body so that when you come across attacker’s it will pay u and run like 2miles morning and 1 miles evening.
It payed me as well it will pay u dude and watch Maldini and canavaro cuz those two players are the best as well as Dessie
Yea will do thanks for the advice 👍
