- 02 Firehawk #1035 with 41,000 miles. Mods are MS4 cam, Kooks 1 7/8" long tube headers, Kooks true duals, American Racing Torq Thrust II's, Nitto NT 555.
Taken Nov 1st 2014, cold idle, 35* outside.

Great exhaust note. Has a crisp distinctive sound to it. It actually sounds modified. I prefer this sound over the other end of the spectrum with the engine sounding like it's about to stall out at idle.
Gorgeous TA looks just like my 2000 WS6. 😊

If it had wings it would fly these newer generation Pontiac Trans Am,s are blistering fast!!! add a nice BORLA stainless steel exhaust some after market free flow air filter such as K-N a good driveable cam and of course super output ignition coils, wires good set of plugs and this T/A will more then fly,it will scare you they handle ausome!!!🏎️😀😀🏎️😛😛
Still my favorite exhaust clips on face book. Those kooks are bad!! Super illegal in Cali. Ordered TSP "3 catpack with electric cut out. Got the TSP high lift hot cam to, MSD manifold intake and SLP airlid. Looking foward to those HP gains

+John Haney III Hey thanks! Yeah I love this system, wasn't the nicest on the pocket book but well worth it. Once I first heard this system on youtube I knew I wanted it.
+ka96Z nothing from kooks is nice on the pocketbook. just listened to this again and I'm going to have to aim for a similar set up cam and all its perfect not to much but just enough. Then I'll probably be calling it quits on my bird. Collector car now, no sense killing it. They have plenty of power to have fun and do some sideways shenanigans. Plus this will give me a chance to get my 1995 Trans am out of storage and get that summit credit card built monster finally running again :). Blew the stock rear end out being young and entirely to dumb with nothing but a set of 3:73's added.

Philip Cooper yes 2.5" stainless true duals. it's overkill but I love the sound and won't need another exhaust system ever.

Magic Trash can I swapped a built 5.3 LM7 into my 99 ws6 cam ported heads and flat top pistons.

I just bought an 02 t/a. I'm new to ls1s, I've only ever done older style motors. Is there any little tricks to doing cam swaps with these things?
Shawn Kleptach i honestly don't know, never done a cam swap with one. i bought this one with it already done. LS1tech is a good forum to check out with plenty of good info and how to's.

ka96Z That cam sounds nasty! I like it, I threw in a 216/220 .560 112lsa in my LM7 build for my 99 ws6.

martinez1701a no problems at all. This cam has been in the car for almost 10 years. Just I wouldn't mind changing it up to a more boost friendly cam setup.
